ALFA ROMEO IN DETROIT, MI HAS BEEN CONTACTED, AND THE REPLY AFTER A ONE-DAY WAIT THAT THE TEAM CONCLUDED THAT THE TIRE ON THE CAR IS GOOD EVEN TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT THE TOP SPEED OF AN Alfa Romeo Stelvio TI SPORT AWD CAN RUN EASILY 140 MPH. THESE CONTINENTAL TIRES RATING 'H' TOP SPEED IS 130 MPH. ALFA ROMEO'S SPOKESPERSON STATED THAT THE TIRE ON THE CAR CAME FROM ITALY WITH THESE TIRES, SO ALFA ROMEO WANTS ME TO CALL THE DEALERS AND WAIT AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY. I AM AFRAID SOMEONE COULD GET HURT OR KILLED FROM A TIRE BLOWOUT. THE TIRES ARE CONTINENTAL CROSS SECTION LX SPORT RATING 'H,' AND THE TOP SPEED OF THIS MAKER'S TIRE IS 130 MPH; HOWEVER, THIS MOTORCAR CAN AND HAS REACHED 144 MPH.
Backup camera is very dim especially on the very outside of the view. Not bright enough to discern pedestrians walking behind the vehicle which could possibly cause bodily harm. Dealer says it is within their specifications and there is nothing they can do. I've found several forums on this very subject and some claim there is a fix using a computer program that lightens the camera to a useful level. I took this issue up to their customer care and they say the dealer can't do any more and the case is closed. I have had several vehicles, all makes and models and not one of them had a camera this dangerous.
On 12/30/2020 the car was wrecked into a light pole at 55-60 mph. Major front end damage the seatbelts didn't lock and the airbags did not deploy. The manufacture is not being responsible. The vehical currently has a product liability hold on it for inspection but it has not been inspected as of today. I think they are trying to cover it up and not report it. I was injured and they don't care. They still call for payments but no calls about the vehicals inspection from fca. The vehicals was on a city street. *dt*jb
The fuel gauge inside the car shows wrong readings and you can run out of fuel
