Consumers have filed a total of 40 complaints related to Audi STRUCTURE:BODY.
I was about to get on the freeway when my car's electrical system failed and i got several warning lights. The braking/stop start system, lights and a few other lit up. I pulled off the road and had it towed. The dealership said water (rain) got in through my sunroof and shorted my system (warranty won't cover). There are several class action suits re. This issue already and audi knows about it, but there's no recall and cars have stopped suddenly on the freeway. It's very dangerous.
Water is collecting in the rear passenger door well or the door sill. Water sloshing is heard when braking or accelerating from stop. Problem is more severe after rains or car washes.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 Audi A4. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE FRONT GRILL OF THE VEHICLE DETACHED AND SEPARATED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS WERE INOPERABLE, AND THERE WAS NO OIL IN THE ENGINE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SEVERAL UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS RELATING THE ISSUE TO A WIRING ISSUE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO KEY FORD OF YORK (422 US-1, YORK, ME 03909) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ADDITIONALLY, THE ENGINE OIL NEEDED TO BE TOPPED OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WITH THE HEADLIGHTS RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 42,000.
On the passenger door, the aluminum wrap that covers the interior door handle used began to peel at the crease. When i reached to open my passenger door from the inside, the aluminum deeply cut my finger. The vehicle was parked and turned off.
Problem#1 fuel door clip suddenly stopped closing, therefore i couldn? T fully close it. Problem #2 trunk latch stuck, therefore i have to get into the trunk using the rear seats, then releasing the latch from inside. All this happened within 1 year of financing the vehicle.
