SOS LIGHT TURNED ON AND HAS BEEN ON FOR A YEAR. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND IT COSTS $1300 TO REPAIR AS THE CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY. DOESN'T AFFECT THE CAR SAFETY, BUT THIS ISSUE APPEARS TO BE HAPPENING TO A LOT OF Audi A4 CARS AND I THINK A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED TO FIX THIS AS THIS DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A ONE-OFF ISSUE.

Bang & olufsen trim on front driver's door is peeling off and has cut me a couple of times. I try and push it back onto the door, but it keeps popping off. It is very sharp. Eventually, it broke off and i just stuck it back on the door.

TL THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 Audi A4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HER VEHICLE WAS LEAKING OIL. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO STEVEN CREEK AUDI (751 SOUTH WINCHESTER BLVD, SAN JOSE, CA 95128, (408)551-4870) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THERE WAS AN ENGINE OIL LEAK LEADING TO THE TURBO CHARGER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER, NO ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,257.

TL- THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 Audi A4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WHEN HE DETECTED A BURNING ODOR. THE DASHBOARD GAUGES AND EPC WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE TO A GAS STATION TO REFUEL THEN BACK TO HIS COMMERCIAL PROPERTY WHEN HE NOTICED THERE WAS FIRE COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. THE CONTACT EXITED THE VEHICLE AND THE FIRE WENT OUT ON IT'S OWN. NO POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT NOTIFIED HIS INSURANCE COMPANY AND WAS INFORMED THAT HIS VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V229000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) AND THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO THE RECALL. THE INSURANCE COMPANY ALSO INFORMED THE CONTACT TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH NHTSA AND TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO AN AUDI DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000. TP

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 Audi A4. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE FRONT GRILL OF THE VEHICLE DETACHED AND SEPARATED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS WERE INOPERABLE, AND THERE WAS NO OIL IN THE ENGINE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SEVERAL UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS RELATING THE ISSUE TO A WIRING ISSUE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO KEY FORD OF YORK (422 US-1, YORK, ME 03909) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ADDITIONALLY, THE ENGINE OIL NEEDED TO BE TOPPED OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WITH THE HEADLIGHTS RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 42,000.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED MY Audi A4 AND IMMEDIATELY HAVE HAD ELECTRICAL ISSUES. JUST RECENTLY THE BACK WINDOW WILL RANDOMLY ROLL DOWN AND LAST NIGHT WHEN I STARTED MY CAR THE SAFETY SYSTEM LIGHT AND MESSAGE CAME ON. IT STATED SEE OWNERS MANUAL. I BEGAN TO DRIVE AND THE LIGHT TURNED OFF. AS I DROVE IT BEGAN TO BLINK ON AND OFF THEN FINALLY STAYING ON AND MAKING IT DISTRACTING TO DRIVE.

There is a recall on some audi for the trim on the bang & olufsen speakers. Mine are coming off as well and are very sharp and can injure/cut you very easily.

My vehicle is leaking coolant. Every 8-10k miles it goes below normal level in reservoir. There is a distinct odor of coolant each time i get out of the vehicle. I have had audi look at it 5 times. They confirm the coolant levels are low and they refill it saying they can't find a leak. I am concern that this is a fire hazard.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 Audi A4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH, SHE ATTEMPTED TO AVOID HITTING ANOTHER VEHICLE THAT HAD DARTED IN FRONT OF HER VEHICLE. DESPITE HER BEST EFFORTS, THE CONTACT CLIPPED THE RIGHT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE OTHER VEHICLE WHICH CAUSED SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT END OF HER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY UPON IMPACT. THE CONTACT'S DAUGHTER HIT HEAD ON THE BACK OF THE DRIVER SEAT AND JAMMED HER THUMB; NO OTHER INJURIES WERE REPORTED AND NO MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NEEDED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AT THE SCENE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT TOW YARD AND HAD YET TO BE INSPECTED BY INSURANCE. THE MANUFACTURER NOR THE DEALER HAD YET TO BE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD YET TO BE REPAIRED.THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 46,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 Audi A4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AC BEGAN TO BLOW HOT AIR. THE DASHBOARD WAS REMOVED TO REPLACE THE SENSOR USED FOR RELEASING COLD AIR. THEN WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION WARNING SYSTEM ACTIVATED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO USE THE PADDLES TO STEER THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER (AUDI FORT LAUDERDALE - SALES DEPARTMENT 1200 N FEDERAL HWY, FORT LAUDERDALE, FL 33304; (954) 545-4650) WHO REMOVED THE CONSOLE TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION. THE THIRD ISSUE WAS THAT THE VEHICLE HAD FAILED TO START. THE CERTIFIED MECHANIC TOWED THE VEHICLE DUE TO CONNECTOR FUNCTION TO START THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN KEY AND STARTER HAD FAILED AND THE DEVICE THAT PROVIDED THIS FUNCTION WAS REPLACED. THE FOURTH ISSUE WAS THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH WHEN THE TRANSMISSION SUDDENLY FAILED. THE CONTACT RESTARTED THE VEHICLE AND TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER BY STEERING THE VEHICLE USING THE PADDLES AS SUGGESTED BEFORE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND OPENED A CASE REGARDING THE MATTER. THE CONTACT WAS THEN REFERRED BACK TO THE DEALER. THE MATTER HAD NOT BEEN RESOLVED. THE FAILURES AD REOCCURRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ALL FAILURES HAD OCCURRED IN A TOTAL OF A 1,100 MILES TIME FRAME. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25, 700.

Gear shifter pin broke vin # doesn't match my name nor dmv

Engine malfunction prevented the vehicle to engage and a significant lag. Correction of the failure has been attempted twice and a third attempt to correct malfunction is currently in progress with no movement as of yet. Gas tank has been drained and refilled and did not correct issue. Definitely not a gasoline type issue.

I went to press the button to disable start/stop mode. The button to do this is next to the electronic stability control button. I accidentally pressed the esc button and shut of electronic stability. **these two buttons should not be next to each other. ** there should be a way to default to disabled start/stop mode.

The horn will not activate when pressed in the location of about 3 - 6 o'clock (lower right quadrant). The dealership service manager stated that there is two sensors in this models unit, one at around 12 (top) and 7 (lower left), and that the horn can only easily activate if pressed in either those locations or if pressed in the center.
