When driving the vehicle and increasing speed, the transmission does not want to shift. The rpm's will literally redline, if i do not lift my foot off of the gas quickly, and replace it back on the gas - this reminds me of a manual shift, but this is not a manual transmission. The hesitation in shifting gears has gotten so extreme that i will start to smell a burning smell if i do not manually shift the transmission via the gas pedal. The car only has 33,000 miles, so i'm sure that this is not just the result of an older transmission. This happens nearly everytime i accelerate my vehicle.

While driving the car my dashboard completely shuts down. The screen went completely black no radio,clock,dash display. Stopped, turn car off and restarted still did not turn back on dash board or and radio/ navigation screen. Waited till next day tried again still not successful both screen completely black.

Loss of power steering for @ 5 minutes until stopped at red light, turned off the engine and turned it back on, it was working. However, just drove 2 minutes to employment parking lot. Not enough time to see if it malfunctioning, will notice driving back home.

APRIL 7, 2020 I AM WRITING TO YOU TODAY TO SHED SOME LIGHT ON HOW DIRE A SITUATION GM BUICK HAS PUT ME IN WITH REGARD TO A LACK OF A RESOLUTION REGARDING MY 2019 BUICK. GENERAL MOTORS HAS BEEN UNABLE TO PRODUCE AN AIRBAG PART #84548108 FOR MY 2019 Buick Envision PREMIUM SINCE NOVEMBER 27, 2019. MY CAR WAS T-BONED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF MY 2019 BUICK BY ANOTHER DRIVER WHILE I WAS TRAVELING ON A MAIN ROAD. HE WAS ISSUED A TICKET FOR FAILURE TO YIELD. I AM A REGISTERED NURSE AT WESTCHESTER MEDICAL CENTER IN VALHALLA, NEW YORK. I CANNOT BE WITHOUT A VEHICLE TO TAKE CARE OF MY FAMILY AND GET TO MY JOB AS AN INTENSIVE CARE NURSE AT WMC IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY NEW YORK. FOR THE FIRST 3 MONTHS GM HAS USED THE UAW STRIKE AS AN EXCUSE FOR NOT HAVING THE AVAILABLE PARTS FOR MY VEHICLE. NOW THEY ARE USING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC AS AN EXCUSE FOR NOT PRODUCING THE PART. NO ONE AT GM KNOWS MORE THAN I ABOUT HOW THE CORONAVIRUS HAS AFFECTED OUR DAILY LIVES. GM REFUSES TO PROVIDE ME WITH THE REPLACEMENT PART OR A LOANER VEHICLE! THEY HAVE OFFERED A RENTAL CAR ARRANGEMENT WHERE I WOULD BE CHARGED $240.00 PER MONTH. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, THEY ARE TAKING FOOD OFF OF MY TABLE. IN ADDITION THEY REFUSE TO PUT A HOLD ON MY LOAN FROM GM FINANCIAL!. IT IS NOW 5 MONTHS THAT I HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY CAR REPAIRED. Check engine light came on at 60,000 miles. Car is a 2017, 3 years old. Diagnostic code shows the alternator is no good. Car just surpassed warranty. Gm could not provide a reason for the alternator going bad on such a new vehicle.

While driving down interstates and highways, the vehicle? S dashboard completely shuts down. The radio, meters, dash display, etc. All go dark and turn off for a span of 5-20 seconds. This has happened multiple times over the couple years of ownership. The vehicle is always going at least 60 mph and, while it doesn? T turn the engine off, it does turn the air off and, overall, causes a huge distraction for the driver.

While driving in cruise control between 35 to 40 mph, going up a small incline, the engine bogs down and the vehicle rattles. I have had the vehicle checked out 5 times by different dealers and their conclusion was that this is a normal condition. The transmission shifts into the highest gear for fuel economy. I do not believe buick would make a vehicle that rattles at 35 to 40 mph. Going into manual 5th gear stops the rattling, but that should not be the solution.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 Buick Envision. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE VIBRATED WHEN DRIVING AT 36 TO 40 MPH AND CAUSED THE STEERING WHEEL TO VIBRATE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE SPEED WAS INCREASED TO 41 MPH, THE VIBRATION STOPPED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PAUL MASSE BUICK GMC SOUTH (2909 TOWER HILL ROAD, SAUNDERSTOWN, RI 02874, PHONE (401) 515-3737). THE DEALER WAS ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WAS NOT A FIX FOR THE VIBRATING FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 400.

Entire dash cluster has gone out. Screen completely black. Including after update in june 2019. Car was in motion, happens at various speeds. Almost cause an accident. Dealer unable to source issue after 3 visits to date in 2019. Gm technicians unable to solve issue. Gm and dealer does not believe this to be safety is and keeps allowing car to be returned to service.

The infotainment center goes blank and at times cant shut the radio off. Restarted car, opening doors and pressing buttons doesn? T shut radio off. Car is at dealer for 7th time. Shown dealer videos and they have been unable to figure out source.

I was driving on the freeway at full speed when the car abruptly shut off. I had no power and all dash lights went black. It was very frightening. I don't know how but i managed to get it to the side of the road. It has been in the shop for over a week and they still have not found the cause. I hope this does not happen to anyone else.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 Buick Envision. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE EPS FLASHED, INDICATING ?POWER STEERING DISMISSED?. TRANSWEST CHEVROLET BUICK (1200 W MAIN ST, STERLING, CO 80751, (970) 522-2700) INDICATED THAT THERE WAS AN INTERNAL EPS FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER DUE TO THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZING. IN ADDITION, DUTTON MOTOR COMPANY (8201 AUTO DR, RIVERSIDE, CA 92504, (951) 687-2020) ALSO DIAGNOSED THAT THE EPS FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS UNSAFE TO BE DRIVEN AND REMAINED PARKED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18,000.

"auto stop" function would not restart in traffic - stopped at signal light; had to push vehicle into a parking lot. Wouldn't restart for over 20 minutes. Two additional electrical issues (we believe are releated) previously that have not been fixed.

Rear tailgate requires manual operation to open, close, and lock. The vehicle is equipped with automatic lift gate controls on the driver door and also by swiping foot under rear bumper. I have documented four times in the past month that the tailgate will not operate properly. Each time however that i bring the vehicle to the dealership, the tailgate works properly. The mechanic said it is probably the actuator, but until i can bring it to them when it? S not working there is nothing they can do. There was one instance were the tailgate wouldn? T lock even when manually operated. I had to drive the vehicle with the tailgate unlocked and opening when i slowed down. The dealer sales personnel did a temporary adjustment by turning the vehicle on and off and adjusting the selection knob on the driver door. Your help here is appreciated. The dealership is being very helpful, but can only fix something when they verify that the item needs repair.

Since 2016 my vehicle collision alert has been inoperable and giving false alerts.. On numerous occasions, i had vehicles ignore the yield sign at high rate of speed cutting in from on my vehicle nearly causing an accident. The collision alert never went off until 45 minutes to an hour later... My vehicle has been taken to the kent county motor buick dealership in dover, de where it was purchased for service. Numerous times they could not pinpoint the issue. Gm engineer was notified by the dealership to ascertain assistance and i was informed by the service dept. That it may recognize an alert and it may not recognize an alert. For the last 3 years i've been dealing with this issue. In jan of 2019, i personally contacted gm to complain about the ongoing issue. They gave me a case#9-4980258634 and to return the vehicle to the dealership. The dealership upgraded the softer ware and attempted to duplicate the issue but to no avail. The collision alert failed. Gm senior advisor paige called me indicating "the vehicle was designed to do what is suppose to do" and the vehicle was safe. I questioned ms. Paige and asked her how can my vehicle be safe when the vehicle collision alert is not functionally like it suppose to. All she can say is vehicle is designed to do what it's suppose to do. I informed ms. Paige that was unacceptable and gm needs to alert consumer of the faulty collision alert. She continued saying gm can not do anything for me because "it is designed to do what is was suppose to do".
