The contact owns a 2013 cadillac cts. The contact stated that the transmission fluid was leaking, and the vehicle stalled while driving at various speeds. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the transmission fluid was significantly low. The transmission was topped off. The contact stated that the vehicle was driven to the residence; however, on arrival the transmission fluid level was abnormally low. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 31,000.

The vehicle initially had a windshield manufacturing defect according to cadillac service center which allowed plenty of water to go inside the vehicle during heavy rain. After the vehicle was serviced weeks later i was driving and the digital dashboard when completely yellow and red. At the same time the automatic brakes activated and i almost got rear ended. They serviced the car again after being tow trucked and “couldn’t” determine the cause of the dashboard incident shown on the pictures.

There is a problem with the dashboard lighting. It is very dim and hard to read the dash to choose and view options and screen in general. I noticed this the day i picked up the new car. The dealer said there was nothing he could do. I contacted cadillac and was told to go back to dealer and have him make a tac call with gm for adjustment. They did this and said it met there specs. This is a very dangerous safety issue as when you are driving you spend to much time trying to see dashboard for adjustments and you can’t keep your eye on the road. I filed a complaint with cadillac customer assistance, case # [xxx] and nothing is getting done about the problem. I’ve talked with several lyric owners with the same problem and i see online a lot of customers complaining. I’m hoping you can get involved and get cadillac to resolve this problem for myself and many other owners. The contact owns a 2015 cadillac ats. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and depressing the brake pedal all the way to the floorboard, the vehicle hesitated to respond as needed. The brake assist warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the brake vacuum pump had failed. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the brake sensors had failed. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to nhtsa campaign number: 19v645000 (service brakes, hydraulic) however, the vin was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 132,000. The vin was not available.

The contact owns a 2020 cadillac xt6. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the instrument panel went black. The vehicle was restarted, and the instrument panel lights illuminated but the vehicle began shaking from the driver's side. The check oil warning light was illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that she felt heat coming from where her feet were located under the dashboard. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined the driver's speaker was inoperable due to unknown electrical fault and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. On another occasion, while driving 10 mph, the contact observed a dripping noise coming from underneath the vehicle. The check oil warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the oil needed to be changed. Additionally, while driving at 60 mph she observed condensation on the outside of the windshield. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 50,753.

The contact owns a 2013 cadillac ats. The contact discovered nhtsa campaign number: 14v338000 (power train). The contact discovered that the recall was repaired, however, the failure occurred. The contact's husband was parked in the vehicle while shifting into drive, the gear shifter became stuck in between park and drive. The contact turned the vehicle off; however, the vehicle would not restart. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with automatic transmission control shift cable detachment. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 86,000.

The contact owns a 2013 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 45 MPH, the driver's side headlamp was brighter than the passenger’s side headlamp. The contact owns a 2016 cadillac ct6. The contact stated that while in reverse, the vehicle accelerated inadvertently. The brake pedal was depressed to stop the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated while driving between 30-45 mph on several occasions, the gears shifted, and the vehicle jolted forward. Additionally, that contact stated that the vehicle was constantly shaking. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure was first not able to be duplicated. The vehicle was taken to another dealer for the third time where it was diagnosed that an unknown harness needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred a month later. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a complaint was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 19,000.

I recently notice that i had very little light on the low beam of my headlights. Cannot see the road unless on high beam. Dealership said it is a problem that they have had with the srx and have replaced so many 'headlight assembly's' that they now carry them in stock. Since you can't drive with the high beams on in traffic i feel this is a failure of the model and can only be fixed by replacement... Quote of $1750. 00.
