I filled it up with oil and took it to the deal stated 2 engine seal open when engain had pressure during a drive. This happen around 74 to 75,000 miles by the time i got to the deal it barley had oil i had to pay 800 dollors out of pocket.
I went to place my child in booster seat when i went to click the belt on it did not stay looks like it is stuck or broken part in side. I could not sit any one one the seat.

Warning alarm goes off and power steering goes out happens with vechile in motion
My truck was shaking and shuddering, along with hard upshift and downshift while driving. It started to make a loud noise when accelerating from a stop and would sputter when on the highway. I took it to the dealer and they diagnosed the truck would need a new transmission.
When i step on the brakes it gets really hard and will not stop. It happened to me in a parking lot. I was pulling into a parking spot and did not stop. Then when i was driving down the road i rear-ended someone and i was not driving very fast. My concern is that if a child or car runs out in front of me i wil not be able to stop. This has happened several times now. I have paid mechanics to replace my brake pads, calipers, disc's because i do not want to hurt myself or someone else.
Dive line vibration, not from out of balance wheels. It occurs around 70 mph and lives in and out. The shake/vibration is always present but gets fluctuates at a continuous speed. Goes from a slight floor vibration to the entire center console shaking water out of its cup. Feels like the wheels are going to come off the back. It can be seen that the rear end is shaking left to right from the drivers mirror.
Upon leaving my residence and heading to work in the morning, the truck started sputtering and cutting out while driving through the intersection. The action impeded the traffic and the engine light cut on. After reviewing the fault code, it displayed a p0300 misfire code and p050d, commonly related to faulty fuel injectors. The truck had approximately 34000 miles when the issue started. Local chevy dealer advised they are not covered under power train warranty and bumper to bumper has expired. The issue is now re occurring and the fuel injectors are on back order.
My truck had the electronic brake control module reprogramming with sps as per recall n192268490 performed. The reprogramming worked fine for a few months. In march 2020, i noticed that at low speeds and mainly when backing, the brakes began to lose pressure and what sounded like and felt like the antilock brake system was engaging, and very hard pressure was needed to stop the truck with longer than expected braking occurring. The problem has definitely worsened and occurs nearly every time braking at low speeds in reverse with any type of incline. While backing my boat into a driveway, this issue occurred and nearly sent the boat into the garage door. I had to apply as much pressure as i possibly could to the brakes to stop the truck and boat before hitting the garage door. The issue has occurred repeatedly as i have backed up on an incline, with or without a trailer or boat attached to my truck.
As i was backing out of my driveway the truck suddenly shut off and the steering wheel jerked hard out of my hand. The screens all went blank. I was halfway onto the road when this happened and luckily the oncoming traffic was able to stop in time. I restarted the car and it did it again. It took three times to get the car going. I immediately called the dealer to take it in for service. On the way to the dealer it happened again and prior to the screen just blacked out only then the ac blower fan surged on and off. The vehicle again shut off as i was turning from dual highway to the dealer and the steering wheel jerked out of my hands and the brakes locked. Also when i backed out that morning the rear felt like their was some slippage. I bought my 2016 silverado used in 2018 with 24k miles on it. The odometer just turned 50k two days ago, so this vehicle has not been driven hard and has always had proper service. I began researching and there are thousands of the same complaint online so i thought there must be a recall. However, the dealer tells me that there is only a "bulletin" and that since i am out of warranty i have to pay for the known repairs needed to fix this issue that clearly gm is aware of. Repairs are over 1300 dollars! I can not believe that gm knows about such a dangerous problem and will not fix it for owners. How many injuries and deaths must occur before a bulletin warrants becoming a recall? I also noted that the previous owner, right before i bought the vehicle according the the car fax took the vehicle for service due to electrical problems. So this was known by gm and dealer when i bought the truck. Deceitful. I have a family that relies on this vehicle for transportation and now i can't afford to fix it or trade it and it is not safe to drive. Help!
Started having soft/hard braking issues when going at low speeds. Pump the brake petal a few times to try and apply more pressure but does not do the trick. Do not see any issue's with leaks or damage. Seen recalls for vacuum pumps with the year and model the same.
I am seeing extreme amount of clearcoat peeling all around vehicle. Appears to be specific to this vehicle paint process. Professional paint shop says poor paint job. Dealer won't help. Gm won't help. I see many others online that have same problem. My truck is in perfect condition. I own other gm cars with no problems. I want help from dealer to fix (college chevrolet, albion, mi 49224).
When going down the road and coming to a stop or reversing the break pedal feels super stiff and turn makes a noise. I just put in 600 dollars on break job.
MY 2017 Silverado 1500, WHILE AT A STOP LIGHT WAS IDLING ROUGH AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME. SO WHEN I BROUGHT THE TRUCK IN FOR A SECOND RECALL. THE DEALER SAID THEY COULD DO A DIAGNOSTIC. WELL THEY SAID IT WAS MISS FIRING DUE TO BAD FUEL INJECTOR CYLINDER 8 WASN'T WORKING SO THEY GAVE ME A PRICE OF 1500 TO FIX THE PROBLEM UNFORTUNATELY WE JUST GOT OUT FROM THE FACTORY WARRANTY AND HAD EXTENDED WARRANTY THAT DIDN'T COVER FUEL INJECTORS SO WE PUT LUCAS FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER AND IT HELPED. IT SEEMS AS IF THERE ARE A LOT OF COMPLAINTS FOR THIS REASON.
Power steering lost temporarily, lights went on and off fast and vehicle dash went black and truck died while turning causing me to hit a car. Moving about 5 to 10 mph
While driving, the radio and all other electric components will go dark or quit working altogether, including the ac blower, compressor, headlights, etc. Sometime i get the stabilitrack alert with 3 or 4 tones, which resets automatically. When waiting in a drive through line today, when i depress the brake pedal, it happens again. While waiting in line, i sometimes put the transmission in park. When i depress the brake, and move the transmission control into drive, it happens, and more frequently, the engine shuts off. When turning the wheel, the power steering seems to go out, making it almost impossible to turn the vehicle, all the while the stabilitrack alarm goes off, the headlights go dark, the ac shuts down, the dash display goes dark, the door locks cycle up and down, and the engine shuts down. Today, it almost caused me not to negotiate turning from a major road into a parking lot. I lost all power to the steering, the engine shut down, and my brakes were non-existent. After reading other complaints on here, i decided i needed to tell my story. I received the recall notices, and have not ventured to the dealership for repairs, fearing exposure to the covid-19 virus. After reading everyone else's problems, and hearing that even the recall repairs do not fix the problem, i cannot help but wonder if there is more going on here than gm is willing to admit. I will not let my wife drive this vehicle, because if it happens to her, there is no way she can maneuver a stalled vehicle with no power steering and no brakes. So it looks i have the same story as others, and no real solution to my problem that the dealerships are willing to fix, or even admitting that there is a problem.

A few months after purchasing from dealer check engine light came on solid. Brought to dealer. Vehicle was shaking and running rough.. Dealer diagnosed issue as faulty fuel pressure sensor. They replaced the part through my extended warranty. A few months later the check engine light cane on blinking same issue vehicle shaking and running rough. Took to dealer immediately. They diagnosed as bad fuel injector. They claimed the ecm went bad caused by the bad fuel injector. They replaced ecm and fuel injectors costing thousands. They convinced me i had to pay for a "platinum fuel injection service" after it was replaced. This was another $300. I was promised the issue was fixed. I was told if check engine light came back on for same issue it would be covered "under good faith"... Well 2 weeks later the check engine light came back on after hardly even using the truck... I had my family in the truck for a planned family even and had to pull off in the sweltering heat to pay for a tow truck to come get my vehicle.... Now it sits over at the dealer again... They want me to pay a diagnostic again. And it has not even been looked at. For the amount i paid for this truck it is dangerous untrustworthy and embarrassing. After reading all these complaints for fuel injectors gone bad at early life, why is this not recalled?
While driving, warning message on dic comes on and say power steering needs service. Power steering completely fails. Truck becomes very difficult to steer. Not only does it not help, but the steering motor makes it harder to turn. This is the third episode of this. The first two times it reset. The first time i took it to dealer and they said they could see codes in history but could not find a problem so unless it was actively doing it there was nothing they could fix (cost me $200) the second time it reset before i could make an appointment. This time it has lasted two days. If it doesn't reset i will take it in without an appointment for them to look at.
2016 CHEVY Silverado 1500 4X4, 35K MILES. CREW CAB.AIR BAG SERVICE LIGHT CAME ON. TOOK TO DEALER, PAID TO HAVE FIXED. ONE MONTH LATER LIGHT COMES ON AGAIN. I FELT UNDER DRIVERS SEAT, TOUCHED SOME WIRES, LIGHT NO LONGER ON. NOW 42K MILES LIGHT BACK ON. OF COURSE IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY, PAST THE 36 MONTH PERIOD. GM MUST BE AWARE OF THIS ISSUE. LIGHT CAME ON AS SOON AS I START THE TRUCK.LIGHT STAYS ON.
