    The power steering would go out, a notice would come up stating " power steering unavailable", then the power steering would work for about 60 seconds and go out again and then repeat the problem. This just starting happening on 4/10/21. We had just gotten into the van and started driving, we went about 1/2 mile, it happened a total of 4 times. We turned around and brought the vehicle back home and it happened 2 more times

    When i accelerate from a stop sign or from a stopped position the vechicle will rev high and not pick up speed. It will stall in the middle of an intersection or as i am driving. This has been occurring since i purchased the vehicle in march 2016. When the vehicle is being started, the car engine and electrical system flickers uncontrollably. All of the lights on the dash board goes off and on the dials goes up and down. The engine shacks as it would like to start but doesn't. It would take up to 2 to 3 times to restart the car to work properly. Recently april 2, 2021, as i was driving majority of the lights came on, transmission, parking brake, abs lights came on. The power steering is not fully functional and the transmission is not reacting normally. As i accelerate during tgis time the traction control symbol flashes and yhe car has difficulty picking up speed. The car has a increasingly difficult time accelerating. If i were to accelerate too quickly the vehicle will rev high and the fears will not catch properly.

    Repeated, video documented occurences of vehicle stalling, losing power steering, and losing all driver-assist features, to include traction control, blind spot monitoring, power steering, forward collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, airbags, and other systems. The problem has repeatedly occurred when the vehicle is in motion; has occurred on a highway as well as in parking lots. The vehicle will suddenly exhibit 'haywire' behavior, which includes fuel and power gauges randomly fluctuating up and down, and all above safety system warnings intermittedly indicating they are offline. In extreme scenarios, power steering will be lost. Additionally, in once scenario, the 'haywire' behavior precluded the ability to turn the vehicle off without resorting to disconnecting hard-wire battery connections. Multiple videos have been made documenting the behavior. Previous attempts to resolve with manufacturer resorted in no corrective action due to 'failure to duplicate' the issue, despite having video showing the occurrence. Originally brought to dealer and nhtsa attention in 2020 (nhtsa complaint #11292415). Dealer has done nothing to resolve the issue and in the past week the issue has recurred, now more consistently than the incident previously reported. Within the past week, the vehicle has stalled twice, resulting in complete loss of power steering. The "haywire" behavior continues, with persistent warnings and loss of essential systems, and the "haywire" behavior increases distractions by imposing false blindspot warning indicator lights and intermittently changing brightness of the entire electronic displays at random, as well as persistent and intermittent loss of functionality of essential safety systems, including airbags and other driver safety features.     TL THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD VEER TO THE RIGHT MAKING THE VEHICLE DIFFICULT TO STEER. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD ISSUES WITH THE START/STOP SYSTEM. THE CONTACT STATED THE START/STOP SYSTEM MALFUNCTION WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SOUTHFORK CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (17725 SOUTH FWY, MANVEL, TX 77578) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH THE AUXILIARY BATTERY CABLE NEEDING TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED THE FAILURE WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V348000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 26,000.

    TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AND MAKING A SLIGHT RIGHT TURN, THE STEERING WHEEL FAILED TO RETURN TO THE CENTER. THE CONTACT MANUALLY CENTERED THE STEERING WHEEL. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DAVE DENNIS CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM (4232 COLONEL GLENN HWY, DAYTON, OH 45431) HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
