Imy car will not shift out of the first gear just out of no where while driving down the highway, had to have it towed and shop is saying transmission control module is bad and i see many reviews that this happens with this car around 90000 the shop is also say they see this problem a lot i don? T understand why there is not a recall

A SERVICE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT CAME ON IN MY 2016 Chrysler 200. I TOOK THE VEHICLE IN TO THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP FOR ANOTHER RECALL AND HAD THEM CHECK INTO THE AIRBAG SITUATION. I RECEIVED A CALL FROM DEALER AND WAS ADVISED THAT WIRING HARNESS FOR THE AIRBAG NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND WILL NOT BE COVERED SINCE MY VEHICLE IS OUTSIDE OF THE WARRANTY. THE REPAIR IS APPROXIMATELY $1200.00. I DO NOT BELIEVE AS A CUSTOMER I SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS REPAIR. IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND ITS NOT A NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ISSUE AND I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE AIRBAG OR HARNESS TO WHERE I WOULD OF DAMAGED IT. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING AND PURCHASING VEHICLES FOR THE LAST 30 + YEARS AND NEVER HAD ANY SUCH ISSUE. I HAVE CONTACTED CHRYSLER CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH NO SUCCESS INTO TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY. I WOULD LIKE TO PROVIDE A FORMAL COMPLAINT ON THIS AND SEEKING TO SEE WHAT MY OPTIONS ARE IN THIS SITUATION. CHRYSLER CANNOT EVEN ADVISE WHICH AIRBAG IS DEFECTIVE WHICH I FIND HARD TO BELIEVE IN THIS TIME AND AGE WITH ALL THE TECHNOLOGY PROVIDED. I FIND THAT CHRYSLER SHOULD BE PRO ACTIVE IN ADDRESSING THIS REPAIR BEFORE ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN TO CAUSE POSSIBLE HARM OR EVEN CASUALTIES.

Radio kept shutting off and rebooting. Now it is completely out. It glitches a light that is draining my battery. When driving it jerks like it is stalling to give it gas.

I PURCHASED MY 2015 CHRYSLER C IN 2017. I STARTED HAVING ISSUES WITH THE TRANSMISSION JUMPING EVERY NOW AND THEN. MY CAR IS AT 60K MILES NOW AND I HAVE A SENSOR LIGHT ON TELLING ME SERVICE AWD. I TOOK IT TO HAVE IT DECIDED AND THE READING I GOT BACK WAS P1634 AND P1634 00. THE POWER TRAIN ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED BEFORE I OWNED IT AND NOW FROM THE SOUNDS OF IT, MAY BE GOING BAD AGAIN. I SMELL A BURNING SMELL FROM TIME TO TIME WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. I?M TRYING TO TAKE MY CAR IN TO GET SERVICED BUT EVERYONE?S TELLING ME NO OPEN RECALL. It has done it before like 6 months after we bought it but it hasn't done it again. I thought i had turned the wrong knob so didn't really look into it much until recently. It almost got is killed. We were gettingoff an exit turning right and it died in the middle of turning. In front of the cars comingour way. . It shuts off while driving at any speed and flashes "shift to park" in order to do that you have to completely stop and shift it then turn off your car in hopes it'll start right up... It dont. We were on a busy over pass when it happened a few days ago. Yesterday (04/26/2021) we were by the court house and it done the same thing. Today (04/27/2021) it didn't even want to start. It idled high and acted like it was dying. I of course had to drive my children to school so it was scary.

While driving into my parking spot suddenly abs, awb unavailable, performance shifting unavailable, service airbag, cruise control unavailable, front park sense unavailable, lane sense unavailable, dash lights appeared as my car lost any availability to shift gears, accelerate or decelerate

The vehicle would cut off causing me to swerve to the side of the road to avoid an accident. It would stall while driving which also caused issues. Then it would just not start and once taken to the dealership on three separate occasions was told there was nothing wrong with the vehicle.

Says to shift into park and restart the car. Takes a few tries to turn on. Check engine light came on and performance shifting unavaliable notice showed up. Now it there is a herking motion everytime the gas is touched.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 Chrysler 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE JERKED, VIBRATED AND STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FITZGERALD CHRYSLER JEEP LOCATED AT 22231 THREE NOTCH RD, LEXINGTON PARK, MD 20653, WHERE THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE WAS REPROGRAMMED. THE VEHICLE LATER FAILED TO IMMEDIATELY START WITH THE MESSAGE WAIT TO WARM WAS DISPLAYED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE SAME DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO FAULTY ENGINE CYLINDERS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN I HAVE A 2015 Chrysler 200. WHEN I DRIVE THE CAR SOMETIMES WHEN I START IT UP IT KINDA DON'T WANT TO START. THEN IT FINALLY DOES. IT WILL STALL WHEN DRIVING WHEN I COME TO A STOP THE CAR WILL DIED BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON STEERING WHEEL GETS TIGHT AND CAR JUST STOPS. I WILL HAVE TO COST AND PULL OVER TO THE SIDE. THEN I WILL START IT BACK UP AND IT STILL DONT REALLY WANNA START BACK UP. THE RED BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON WHEN IT DIES .... THE CAR WILL START BACK UP BUT WITH ISSUES.

Car stalled while i was driving once on the highway and i had to swerve on to the side of the ride almost crashing and causing a accident and then a couple of time on the main road which also result into me having to swerve out of traffic almost causing a accident. The car will tell me put it in park i did that and then sometimes it will start up sometime it won? T.

In the past 3 years the active grille shutter had to be fixed 3 times. The check engine light would always come up for this issue after it was stationary or parked over night and then the light would come up when it was time to drive again. Finally the dealership fixed the the problem they said the transmission needed to be fixed. After the transmission was fixed my car now overheats after being idle for more than a few minutes. Also the passenger air bag sensor was fixed twice but lit up on my dashboard recently again.

One minute the airbag light will be on then the next it will be off. It? S something with the passenger side every time someone sits there or move the passenger seat. It continues to go on and off. I have searched on the internet for any recalls but didn? T see any. I did notice that other people are also having problems with this on either both, or just one side of the car. It? S not just me having a problem with the airbag. I think this should be a safety hazard and needs to be recalled to be fixed.

BEGINNING AT MILEAGE 83,931 ON 4/5/2021, MY 2015 Chrysler 200 COMPLETELY SHUT OFF AND LOST ALL POWER WHILE SITTING IN TRAFFIC AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT. THE CAR WOULD NOT BUDGE NOR RESTART FOR SERVAL MINUTES, LEAVING ME STRANDED AT A BUSY INTERSECTION DURING RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. AFTER THE CAR RESTARTED, I DROVE HOME WHILE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS WOULD INTERMITTENTLY FLICKER AND GO COMPLETELY DARK THEM COME BACK ON AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED. TODAY, 4/6/2021, MY CAR SHUT COMPLETELY OFF, NO POWER AND NO WARNING, ONCE AGAIN LEAVING ME STRANDED FOR MINUTES BLOCKING TRAFFIC. THE CAR, ONCE AGAIN RESTARTED AFTER WAITING APPROXIMATELY SIX MINUTES. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND CAN CAUSE A SERIOUS CRASH AND POTENTIALLY KILL ME, MY CHILDREN, AND OTHER DRIVERS ON THE ROAD DUE TO THE CAR SHUTTING OFF WITHOUT WARNING WHILE TRAVELING IN IT. AFTER THE INCIDENT OCCURRING TODAY, THE CAR BEHAVED AS IF IT WERE GOING TO SHUT OFF WHILE IN MOTION; HOWEVER, I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT THE REST OF THE WAY HOME WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

My car was repaired for a recall in 2016 for the power distribution center. Recently the car has been dying out while stopping, in drive thru and while waiting in traffic. I? Ve brought it to 4 mechanics who couldn? T find the issue. Today the mechanic determined that the issues the vehicle is having are in direct relation to the issue that was covered in the original recall. Repair was faulty and dealer is refusing to fix the issue that is happening again.

When i accelerate from a stop sign or from a stopped position the vechicle will rev high and not pick up speed. It will stall in the middle of an intersection or as i am driving. This has been occurring since i purchased the vehicle in march 2016. When the vehicle is being started, the car engine and electrical system flickers uncontrollably. All of the lights on the dash board goes off and on the dials goes up and down. The engine shacks as it would like to start but doesn't. It would take up to 2 to 3 times to restart the car to work properly. Recently april 2, 2021, as i was driving majority of the lights came on, transmission, parking brake, abs lights came on. The power steering is not fully functional and the transmission is not reacting normally. As i accelerate during tgis time the traction control symbol flashes and yhe car has difficulty picking up speed. The car has a increasingly difficult time accelerating. If i were to accelerate too quickly the vehicle will rev high and the fears will not catch properly.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GLENDALE CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM (10070 MANCHESTER RD, ST. LOUIS, MO 63122) AND WAS DIAGNOSED AS AN AIR BAG FAILURE HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE REMAINED AT THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT RECALLS WERE VIN SPECIFIC AND THERE WAS NO RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH THE VIN. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH NHTSA. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE.
