It looks like the vehicle's 12-volt isolator post is compromised and needs some work. The dealer asked me to leave the vehicle for 1 week or more till they can rectify the problem. I asked the dealer to give me a loaner vehicle. They then said that they don't have loaner vehicle. Once when the loaner vehicle is available they will call me. Until then they said i can take the risk and drive the vehicle. I called fiat chrysler recall line to complaint. They said that the dealer is not doesn't have to give the loaner vehicle however long they keep my vehicle for repair. They also mentioned that the final repair is also there when it is clearly stated in nhtsa website it is not available. They put me on hold for 2 hours to speak to the supervisor with still no supervisor to speak to. The notice that chrysler sent me clearly states that the loaner vehicle will be given and the note in the nhtsa website says that the loaner vehicle will be given. The dealer says that the recall is not a big deal and the chrysler also doesn't seems to be worried about it. This is a very callous attitude from both the dealer and the company.

As i was driving my vehicle on a busy road it started to stutter and shut down. I lost steering wheel function as well as gas pedal function. The control panel instructed me to place my car in park to be able to restart it.

MULTIPLE TIMES OUR 2017 Chrysler Pacifica HAS REVVED UP, THEN STALLED. THE SCREEN TELLS THE DRIVER TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK. I DID, THEN WAS ABLE TO PUT IT IN DRIVE AGAIN. SOMETIMES IT COMPLETELY STALLS, OTHER TIMES THE RPM INCREASES THEN THE CAR DECELERATES AND I CANNOT DRIVE OVER 20 MPH. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING SLOWLY AT AN INTERSECTION AS WELL AS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY.

While driving rough shifting from the 9-speed automatic transmission it is noted that it has a tendency to bang or shift rather rough into 2nd gear on upshifts under moderate acceleration at low speeds. It has been an issue from 10k-present miles. Dealer states is fine, this can be rather dangerous due to the force and jerk from the transmission. If the transmission were to stall the traffic behind would hit us. This sill happen when starting from a stopped position and also while driving on city streets. There definitely needs to be a recall before someone is seriously injured or killed. Very frustrating when a dealership tells you everything is fine when it isnt.

Passenger left door has severe grinding sound, also fails to close sometimes. Right hand passenger door hinge was replaced in september 2019

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BOB HOWARD CHRYSLER LOCATED AT 13252 BROADWAY EXT, OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 73114, TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT A TRANSMISSION SOFTWARE UPDATE WAS NEEDED. THE SOFTWARE WAS UPDATED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.

PERIODICALLY WHEN PRESSING ON GAS THE VEHICLE WILL NOT GO AND YOU NEED TO TAKE FOOT OFF GAS AND PRESS FIRMLY. OUR CAR WAS ONE OF THE Pacifica'S THAT STALLED IN THE PAST FOR NO KNOWN REASON AND IT WAS FIXED. THIS NEW PROBLEM IS CONCERNING AS WE HAVE BEEN IN INTERSECTIONS WHEN IT OCCURRED WHICH IS A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD.

The power steering abruptly stops in the middle of driving making turning the vehicle extremely difficult for me and impossible for my spouse. Then, while i am using all my might to turn it around a corner, it resumes and causes me to jerk the wheel. These issues happened on the highway, in parking lots, and side roads, the power steering just stops and starts without cause. I almost hit a guard rail on several occasions. I took it to the dealership and they cleaned the wires but it's still happening. Now, they want me to pay $3,500 to fix a problem that i didn't cause.

When accelerating the car will jerk. It happens at random times. Will happen whether the car is driving through the city or accelerating onto the highway. I believe this is a transmission issue. I have contacted the dealership and they have told me the transmission is a lifetime transmission and fluid does not need to be changed. This has been happening for almost 6-8 months now.

THIS INVOLVES A 2019 Chrysler Pacifica PLUG-IN HYBRID. WHILE TRAVELING AT 80 MPH WITH DYNAMIC CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY LOST ALL PROPULSION. THE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WAS OFF, AND NO POWER CAME FROM THE ELECTRIC MOTOR. THE AIR CONDITIONING ALSO TURNED OFF. DESPITE PRESSING THE ACCELERATOR, THERE WAS NO POWER AT ALL. THE VEHICLE WAS ONLY COASTING, AND LOST SPEED RAPIDLY. DESPITE LOSING PROPULSION, I NEVER FELT LIKE I LOST BRAKES OR STEERING. DESPITE THIS, I FELT VERY UNSAFE AS I WAS TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEED IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSTATE WHEN THIS OCCURRED. THE DISPLAY ALTERNATED BETWEEN TWO MESSAGES. ONE STATED I NEEDED TO SHIFT TO ?P? AND PRESS THE START BUTTON (THE VEHICLE WAS STILL IN MOTION). THE SECOND MESSAGE STATED THERE WAS A FAULT IN THE HYBRID CHARGING SYSTEM. ONCE STOPPED ON THE SHOULDER, I SHIFTED TO PARK AND PRESSED THE START BUTTON WHILE PRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL (THE NORMAL PROCESS TO START THE VEHICLE). THE DASHBOARD, INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM, AND WINDOW CONTROL APPEARED TO POWER-CYCLE, BUT NEITHER THE VEHICLE NOR THE AIR CONDITIONING WOULD START. THE DASHBOARD CONTINUED TO DISPLAY A MESSAGE SAYING A CHARGING SYSTEM FAILURE HAD OCCURRED. AFTER 45 MINUTES OF REPEATEDLY TRYING TO START THE CAR BY PRESSING THE BRAKE AND PUSHING THE START BUTTON. I TRIED JUST PRESSING THE START BUTTON WITHOUT PRESSING THE BRAKE. THE CAR SHUT ALL THE WAY OFF, AND AFTER WAITING A MOMENT, I WAS ABLE TO START THE CAR BY PRESSING THE BRAKE AND THEN PUSHING THE START BUTTON. ONCE STARTED, THE VEHICLE THEN RAN NORMALLY EXCEPT FOR A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. FIVE DAYS PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT, A CHRYSLER DEALER PERFORMED THE REPAIR FOR RECALL NHTSA 19V-886, AND THE INITIAL INSPECTION FOR RECALL NHTSA 20V-334.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WAS REQUESTED. THE VEHICLE WAS JUMP STARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V348000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GANLEY CHRYSLER OF AURORA (161 W GARFIELD RD, AURORA, OH 44202) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE MAIN BATTERY AND THE STOP/START BATTERY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE BATTERIES WERE NO LONGER COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18,900.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

Tried stopping for a red light and brakes did not respond. I was in the right lane. Van seamed to speed up. Got into right turn lane and van slowed down but still not stopping. Hit car in front, luckily no damage to either vehicle.

This vehicle has stalled out and completely shut off while driving. No warning or anything just driving around 50mph and everything shuts off and steering locks up you cannot control the vehicle. Then the screen pops up telling you to place in park while your still traveling 50mph. This has now happend 3 times. It happens the first time in may 2019 around 48,000 miles and now 2 time on july 8 2020 at 74,000 miles. I have read several articles online that this is happening to alot of these vehicles and there has been over 50 complaints but nothing has been done yet. This is a highly dangerous vehicle to drive in. Something must be done to project families for getting injury's. Luckily this has happened to me on smaller roads and not a highway yet! This can be deadly!

A vehicle fire may increase the risk of injury to occupants and persons outside of the vehicle, as well as property damage per the safety recall letter i received from chrysler. 12-volt isolator post connection safety issue. No remedy is currently available.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HALL CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM VIRGINIA BEACH (3152 VIRGINIA BEACH BLVD, VIRGINIA BEACH, VA 23452; (877) 475-0721) WHO STATED THAT A TRANSMISSION HARD CODE WAS RETRIEVED BY THE DTC SCANNER. THE DEALER REPLACED AN UNKNOWN PART IN THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE DEALER THEN STATED THAT THE HUB FLANGE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000.
