DODGE "RACETRACK LIGHTING" HAS CRACKS AT UPPER LEFT AND UPPER RIGHT CORNERS. CAUSING WATER TO ENTER HOUSING AND SHORT OUT A SECTION OF LIGHTS. THANKFULLY IT HAS NOT CAUGHT FIRE. I SEE THE SAME SECTION OF LIGHTS OUT ON OTHER Dodge DurangoS. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THE "CRACK" WAS CAUSED BY ME AND THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT AND THE COST WOULD COME OUT OF MY POCKET. WHEN INSPECTED THE CRACKS ARE UNIFORM IN SHAPE AND SIZE.
The driver? S side power-sliding rear door will not operate using the key fob, the center button in the front seat, or by manually pulling the inside or outside handle. It appears as though the lock mechanism is stuck in the locked position.
Drivers side passanger door is stuck in the lock position and won? T open or unlock
Upon receiving a phone call while my device is connected to the uconnect infotainment system, the incoming ringer volume is set to maximum loudness. This cannot be changed. The ringer is so loud, it is startling to anyone who is in the car. Every time i get a call while in my car (through uconnect), i jump. I thought a friend of mine who was in the passenger's seat was going to have a heart attack. I have tried changing the volume on the ringer and it cannot be done. This is a huge safety concern. I contacted dodge directly and i was told that i need to check for updates to my uconnect system. I did that and there are no updates available. This needs to be remedied as soon as possible. I have checked around on the internet and have read hundreds of other people complaining about this same issue going back a few years. Dodge has been incredibly neglectful with this issue. This needs to be fixed immediately.
Both second row seat belts failed. The dealer comment is that both retractors broken. The seat belts failed within 3 years, but outside the mileage restriction for warranty repair. The vehicle is predominantly for business travel, with limited second row passengers, and averaging 25k miles per year. A dodge case was opened on my behalf, but i was informed that the vehicle is out of warranty and no action will be taken. The parts are roughly $250, but labor to install them is substantially more, as the interior has to be disassembled. It is unreasonable for seat belts to fail with 75,000 miles on the vehicle, and under 200 uses.
