The uconnect system in my vehicle has been delaminating and has been causing several issues in my vehicle where the blindspot detectors are not working properly and the back up camera is not working properly to notify me and alert me with whistles and chimes if a vehicle is driving behind me while i’m backing up or if a pedestrian is on my blindspot crossing near my car. The uconnect system in my vehicle is also causing issues where it is ghost touching and glitching my screen and clicking buttons i’m not clicking. Example trying to change the clock when i’m not clicking anything and when navigation is in, use the system clicks out of maps and starts clicking fm radio. It starts to change stations and put people on hold when i’m on voice connect over the vehicle. It will put someone on mute by itself mostly the fact that the camera is not functioning due to the uconnect being connected with the vehicle and causing it to malfunction. I’m worried it will start to click on other settings in the vehicle. There are many reports with dodge jeep, chrysler, and ram on all forums about this issue. I’ve notified the dodge dealership and uconnect and all the want to do is have me pay out of pocket for a new system that is $2000 not including labor. The uconnect system should be recalled from all vehicles from 2018-2023.

Recently, I experienced a terrifying situation while driving my Dodge Charger on the highway. At a speed of 75 mph, the vehicle unexpectedly applied the brakes on its own, putting me and other drivers at significant risk of an accident. This erratic behavior is entirely unacceptable and poses a severe threat to both my safety and the safety of others on the road. Moreover, the issues do not end there. On numerous occasions, my Dodge Charger has exhibited erratic behavior, including failure to accelerate, sudden stalling, and a complete blackout of the dashboard display. Despite repeated attempts to rectify these problems, including multiple battery replacements, the vehicle remains unreliable and unsafe to operate. Additionally, critical safety features such as the backup camera have ceased to function, further compromising my ability to operate the vehicle safely. It is pertinent to note that my Dodge Charger has only accumulated 23,000 miles since its purchase in 2017, indicating that these issues are not a result of normal wear and tear but rather a fundamental flaw in the vehicle's design or manufacturing. My attempts to address these pressing safety concerns with both the Dodge dealer and your corporate customer service department have been met with disappointment and disregard. I was informed that since my vehicle is no longer under warranty, there is nothing that can be done to remedy these life-threatening issues. The contact owns a 2020 dodge charger. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 24v198000 (air bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Vin tool confirms parts not available.
When braking the engine goes into an uncontrolled fast idle that smokes the tires. Need to shut off engine immediately. This is intermittent. It is the 2nd time i had in to the dealer. Had it towed.
Massive battery drain issue, resulting in dead battery, causing the need to replace the battery yearly. Lane keep does not function at all. Does not provide any assistance in staying in the lane. Lane departure warning only has a dash indicator and no further alert to inform operator of possible lane departure
There’s a recall on 11 part on my vehicle
Forward collision warning: activates randomly. I had to decrease the warning sensitivity to near to reduce the rate at which i was receiving false alarms. Powertrain: noticeable delay after shifting down when using paddle shifters in manual mode. Electrical: the in dash audio radio station seeks down without user input.
