I purchased a 2013 dodge dart aero from best buy auto in ny and only had the car for yr and half. I have waited over a month for asc warranty company to cover it & they refuse to after i bought extended drivetrain warranty. The check engine light came on and was told it was a transmission issue till the dodge dealership told me that it's not covered saying the part needed is supposedly not a part in transmission but mechanics seam to think it should be ,the part is called a hydro shift actuator ,the car has a dual clutch , i've seen this recalled in cars but cannot seam find if this is a failed recall part and still have not got a clue why a part like this would be almost 6 grand to fix on a car valued at roughly 3 grand ,i still owe 9;on it. Why this part is not covered under warranty?
Bcm module is faulty.
Hello. My complaint is on the motor mounts, the oem factory/manufacturer ones that car dealers service/replace. Long story short, in 1 year and 3 months’ timeframe, my motor mounts have been replaced not once, nor twice, but three times. It runs the risks of damaging my motor/engine internally and is a safety hazard on the road. The first replacement (august 2023) was due to broken motor mounts and about 4-5 mounts got replaced. Eight months later (april 2024), the second incident was due to ‘faulty oem parts’ quoted by my car dealer who services my vehicle. They replaced 2-3 mounts. This third incident (october-november 2024) is on a six-month old install, still oem parts. I had the left motor mount replaced after my engine started to sound like it was about to fall apart; hence, the safety risk of an engine failing, falling apart, or falling off/out the vehicle while on the road. After this third replacement, the dodge dealer recommended that i file a recall report because they were concerned about the risks and damage caused by all of the motor mounts my car has seemingly been violated from. When researching if this problem is just my car or not, i came across a dodge forum where many dodge dart owners of years 2013-2016 have had these motor mount issues. All have said that this should be a recall, and frankly i agree, because replacing motor mounts every 6-8 months is not only ridiculous, but concerning at the amount of risk. I did the math and in the span of 1. 5 years and 12,169 miles, my mounts have been replaced at least three times by laird noller ford and briggs dodge. I attached all documents plus the carfax of one replacement that i couldn’t find the document. There is other parts damaged because of these motor mounts also pictured. When will it stop?
When i try to change the gear it says gear is not available and it blinks it says transmission service

Vehicle vin [xxx] transmissions shift cable bushing issue. It's broken now. Under a recall. Took vehicle to bob moore dodge in okc 09/07/2024. They acknowledge the vin is under recall. The part is broken today. But the part is not available. Per bob moore dodge the part is not available in okc, or anywhere in the us and may never be available. The y suggested i try going to another dodge dealer in town - 20 miles away, david stanley dodge, but even then, they admit david stanley dodge does not have the part. And they admit the vehicle may not be safe to drive. Mopar site [xxx] clearly shows the parts are available. So i think there is an issue here. Bob moore dodge in okc just does not want to mess with fixing this issue? Or is the mopar site wrong? So it's a dodge vehicle. Broken down now. Transmission shift cable no longer attached to the transmission. Recall on this exact issue. I'm told it's not going to be fixed today, tomorrow and perhaps never. Bob moore dodge in okc contact is aarron -844-710-0566. 7420 nw expy in okc. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6)
After purchasing the car used, the car got stuck in reverse and would not start or shift into/out of gear or park. The dealership determined that it was "shifter cable bushing broken out of cable eyelet" which we saw was on a recall list for these vehicles. Upon further investigation, we discovered that the recall work had been done while with a previous owner. However it appears that even the recall work has failed. The necessary part to fix the issue is on back order and more than one shop has confirmed that they are unable to get the part to make the repair. I spoke with a representative from chrysler and they said that since the vin doesn't pull up a recall, they won't help us with this issue. The car, which was purchased 6 days prior to the incident, now sits at the dealership and if it ever gets fixed will cost over $700 for repairs. Since it seems to be a failure of recall work, i'm hoping an investigation can be opened and that we and other owners could get some help with this.

I’ve noticed a few times where the key fob would get stuck in the ignition of the car when i turn it off, i would have to turn the car back on and sit it in for at least 5 minutes before the fob would come out. Then the bushing cable got disconnected, the key fob stopped working i had a buy a new one and i’m still having the same issue of the fob getting stuck in the ignition. The first this issue happened was in 2023 and it’s still happening, just found out that i can file a complaint about it
