Sliding passenger door lock is stuck in the locked position and the door cannot be unlocked or opened manually or electrically. Have been told its the lock actuator that has failed (similar to the 2017 and below models that was recalled)

The contact owns a 2011 dodge durango. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the battery warning light illuminated and the vehicle seized. The vehicle did not restart. The contact recharged the battery. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with failed alternator wiring and the wiring harness needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was informed that the failure was similar to a manufacturer's recall t36, however the contact's vin was not associated. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the contact was advised to report the failure to nhtsa. The failure mileage was approximately 186,000.

The contact owns a 2019 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated the headlights were inoperable. The contact stated that while driving the headlights went out. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that t the electrical box was  burnt. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified about the failure. The failure mileage was approximately  98,000.

Drove it one day and it was fine, then next day i went on my lunch break and it lost power, i pull in a parking lot put it park then tried to pull it in reverse and it would only go into neutral. After a couple times it have went into reverse but found out the transmission has to be replaced. Only 110,000 miles.

2014 Dodge Journey

The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Journey.  The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, an abnormal clunking and knocking noise was detected. The traction ABS and all WD warning lights were illuminated. made loud noises. The contact stated the vehicle did not accelerate. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who replaced the brakes and sensors. The vehicle was taken to another independent mechanic, who referred her to the local dealer for assistance with the ABS module. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the ABS module was corroded and there was no recall coverage. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 109,004.

2016 Dodge Grand Caravan

The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated while driving the vehicle, it went into limp mode. The contact attempted to accelerate, however, the vehicle would not accelerate above 35 MPH. The check engine light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic and a diagnostic was performed. The mechanic stated the torque converter cultch circuit and the transmission fluid pressure sensor/switch had malfunctioned. The contact also stated several months ago the vehicle was taken to the mechanic for an oil change. In the process, the mechanic saw a large amount of metal pieces in the oil. The contact referenced Dodge Grand Caravan/Chrysler Town and Country recall number S44 as a possible solution however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 101,000.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was confirmed that water had gotten inside the light the dealer stated that the entire area where the tailgate race track light was located needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 83,000.

While car is in drive, side electric doors try and open on their own. Vehicle tells you this action cannot be completed until car is in park. When placing car in park, the passenger sliding door automatically opens. Battery is being drained and while car is off, front control panel is clicking intermittently and the cluster dials are moving, drawing power.
