Terrian with 2. 4v have a massive oil burning problem. I have to put at least 2 quarts of oil in my car a week to get oil in it. There is problem with them during oil or oil rings are junk.

3 year old truck. The left headlight enclosure gained water and caused the whole headlight system to have issues. Water caused the headlights to flash high beams (both), turn off and blinkers not to work. This defect the whole side that is effective. This can cause other drivers or the owner to have an accident. 6 months later, now the right side headlight is doing the same. I’m out of warranty with only 40k miles. The seal is not strong enough to keep water out the enclosure. This can also cause the whole light system to shut down while driving. Very dangerous especially at night.
Car will read error code for driver assist is reduced. Which then will shut down ac and thermostat will be locked at cold. This is a known issue with gmc if you look at the forums. I have lost my power steering while driving over a dozen times in the previous month. Fortunately, it usually happens when i am not attempting to negotiate a turn. However, it did happen once when i was turning into a parking lot, but luckily it was at a low speed. I could not negotiate the turn without the power steering, so i stopped and turned the car off to reset it. I have found that if i stop, park and turn the car off, the power steering immediately resumes upon restarting the vehicle. In some cases, i have lost the power steering again within the next few minutes. Usually, the problem won't happen again for the remainder of the drive.

Unknown. My truck has only about 46,000 miles. We experience heavy rains on the week of 4/8/2024 and i went to go load groceries in the back and saw water coming down the back window. I went straight to the dealer and spoke with tom a manager at gmc. He took me to service and a mechanic came out and said this a common and expensive job. He said i may need anew window replacement. I left and did research on this problem. There seems to be everyone who has a gmc or chevy has this problem. Many people are experiencing rust, mold, etc. This is a major issue. All you hear about mold health isssues. Not any issue that should be over look. Whenthere is water there is mold. This issue probably has been going on longer but due to heavy rain and me going in the back i saw water. This is something that dealers need to fix.
