My car pause and jerks then stops. This is the second time this has happened after being fixed. The mechanic said they had a recall on the 2016 models for this but not the 2015 but had to correct many of the 2015 models. The check engine light came on after it stopped. I was on the interstate the last time when it stopped. I am afraid that it might happen again without any warning. This is a life threatening defect that infiniti needs to correct asap.

MY 2019 Infiniti Q50 SUNROOF EXPLODED OUTWARD WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY ON A STRAIGHTAWAY, THERE WERE NO OBJECTS THAT IMPACTED THE SUNROOF. THERE ARE OTHER REPORTS ON THE WEB OF IDENTICAL ISSUES.
Since march of 2020 i have had issues with the display screen and the gps system. These problems are ongoing and the dealer cannot repair the electrical issues. I have elevated this complaint to infinity customer affairs and was issued case# 43115404 today. I have taken attempted to have my infinity dealer fix the problem for almost a year and they have been unable to repair the two issues. This problem appears to be getting worse as the frequency of the problems is ocurring more often now. The dealer contacted the corporate tech assistance department was was disappointed by the lack of support and the refusal to approve any repairs. These electrical problems only occur while the vehicle is being driven.

The air bag light just popped up on my dash board
I PROCEEDED FROM A STOP SIGN AND ONCE I MADE IT TO MY DESTINATION WHICH WAS LESS THAN A 1/4 MILE THE CAR STARTED SPUTTERING ONCE I PULLED IN THE YARD. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, SO I LEFT TO GO BACK TO MY HOUSE AND IT STARTED ACTING FINE. I COULD SMELL FULL IN THE CABIN. I WAS COMING HOME ONE NIGHT AND IT DID THE SAME THING EXCEPT THE ENGINE LIGHT DIDN?T COME ON. THIS IS THE SECOND Q50 THAT HAS DONE THIS. THE DEALERSHIP HAD TO COME GET THE FIRST ONE BECAUSE IT WOULDN?T CRANK.
Chassis control system error message comes up. Normal driving. Parked and next day error message displays. Driving not yet affected. Dealership says they know of error message.
When starting up from being parked the wheels steer the car to the right while i have to pull the steering wheel to the left to keep the car driving straight. The moment i remove the pressure from pulling the wheel left the car takes an immediate right turn. This is not a front end alignment issue as the problem will correct itself. It has taken as short as a couple of miles or as long as a few short trips for it to correct itself. It has happened first thing in the morning, in the afternoon and evening. This safety issue started when the outside temperature was still warm. When the steering does correct itself i can feel the steering wheel being pulled to the right and then the car drives straight again without me applying pulling pressure one way or the other.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT A DIAGNOSTIC CODE READER RETRIEVED DTC CODE: P0720 (OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR). THE CONTACT CONTACTED INFINITI OF TAMPA (4600 N DALE MABRY HWY, TAMPA, FL 33614; (813) 694-1579) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE CAMSHAFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.

SO I GET TO ABOUT 35-40 MPH AND NOW I CAN TELL IT?S REVVING IN THE SAME GEAR..GET HOME GOOGLE THE ISSUE AND IT SEEMS THE VALVE BODY ON THE 2015 Q50 HAS A THREAD... I TOOK MY CAR INTO AN INFINITI DEALER , SPENT $180 TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC RUN AND WAS TOLD THEIR IS A SERVICE BULLETIN FOR THE SPEED SENSORS THAT THEY SHOULD JUST REPLACE THE VALVE BODY. THE VALVE BODY IS $1635 AND ON A NATIONAL BACK ORDER AS OF AUGUST 2020 WHEN I?M EXPERIENCING THIS ISSUE.. CALLED INFINITI CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND I?M TOLD WELL UNLESS YOU PAY FOR THE PART WE CAN?T DO ANYTHING TO GET IT EXPEDITED... IT?S BEEN 45 DAYS... SO I HAVE TO TIE UP $1700 AND DON?T KNOW WHEN THIS PART MAY BE AVAILABLE.. CAN?T DRIVE CAR BECAUSE I?LL BURN MY TRANSMISSION UP... THE VALVE BODY IN 2015 Q50?S NEED TO BE RECALLED...I COULD HAVE BEEN ON THE FREEWAY OR DRIVING TO OR FROM LOUISIANA FROM HOUSTON.. LUCKILY I WAS WITHIN 15 MILES OF MY HOME.. CALLED THE OTHER 2 INFINITI DEALERS IN HOUSTON NONE OF THEM HAVE IT IN STOCK AND HAVE AT LEAST 1 Q50 WAITING FOR REPAIR.. CALLED THE DEALER IN AUSTIN ALSO NO STOCK WITH 2 VALVE BODIES ON RESERVE... I HAVE 106000 MILES ON MY Q50 AND IT?S NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY.. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN REPORTED AT FEWER MILES LIKE 30K-50K SO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE AGE OF THE CAR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MIKE WARD INFINITI (1800 LUCENT CT, HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO 80129, (303) 350-4300) AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE REAR ROTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE CONTROL ARMS ALSO NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT BACK TO THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 Infiniti Q50. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT HIGH SPEEDS, THE REAR END BECAME VERY UNSTABLE. THE ABS WOULD NOT OPERATE PROPERLY. WHILE DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THERE WAS NO PULSATION TO THE BRAKE PEDAL. ADDITIONALLY, THE COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM RANDOMLY ACTIVATED CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STOP ABRUPTLY WITH NO OBJECT OR VEHICLE NEARBY. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL LINES WERE LEAKING CAUSING AN ODOR OF FUEL TO BE PRESENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN UNKNOWN DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49.*DT *TR
Camshaft pos sensor went out during driving. Car lost power and jerked. Had car looked at by independent service station and heard knocking. Brought car to dealership and was determined to have a blown engine. Was specifically told that the turbos were? Eating? The oil and not allowing oil to flow to lower end of motor. Which caused failure to main bearing in cylinder 3. Car needs a new engine. Service department has seen this before with same year make and model of vehicle
On 6/13/2020 the drive belt shredded while driving under 30mph, under light acceleration. At first, the battery light illuminated on the instrument cluster, followed the check engine light. White smoke began to come from the engine. Thankfully, i was nearby my house and made it there safely. Furthermore, the engine overheated due to a coolant hose being knocked off by the shredded belt. Additionally, the water pump and a/c compressor failed. The pulley tensioner assembly and belt were replaced under manufacturer? S warranty, along with the aforementioned failed components. All work was done at grubbs infiniti of grapevine, tx and the repair took exactly three weeks to fix. The failure mileage was 28,660. Previously, on march 6, 2019, infiniti of van nuys, ca, tightened the pulley tensioner assembly due to a squeaking noise i was hearing while accelerating. Vehicle mileage was approximately 10,000. I was informed that if i hadn? T had this issue fixed before my drive back to texas, my drive belt could have shredded. After the dealer addressed the concern no further noise was heard at all. The dealer also informed me that this issue is known and has been documented in infiniti service bulletins. Although, this poses a major safety concern as the vehicle could have stalled at high speed resulting in an accident and or loss of life. I worry this issue will happen again. Two times, two many!
Place the car in reverse to back out of a parking space. When i got to my stopping point i applied my brakes to stop to shift gears to go forward. Upon pressing the brakes the vehicle would not stop and continue to roll backwards i pressed harder to stop the vehicle it did not stop it rolled over a curb and backed into another car before it stopped. Once i turned off the car and re-started the car again the brakes worked properly. Damage occurred to both vehicles.

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE CIRCUIT BOARD FOR THE STEERING SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF FAILURE AND A CASE WAS FILED. While vehicle is in motion there's a squeaking noise coming from under the driver's seat towards the middle console. The squeaking noise usually happens when turning or driving over speed bumps/manhole covers and things alike and these incidents occur mostly on city streets.
