Then one second latter it totally shut down. Thanks gad! There where no cars behind me or next to me and i was able to pull over and tuns on my emergency lights. But i was about to go into the freeway only 2 blocks away from it. Just imagine! That happening at 65 or 70 miles in rush hour. I consider that my life was in danger with this issue, not only mine everyone driving around me. What if it happens again? I am truly afraid to drive my jeep in a freeway or even travel.

The snuglock feature on the car seat is not securing the seat belt for a safe installation. My child is able to loosen the installation of the car seat belt by pushing on vehicle seat while rear facing in the car seat. This is a reoccurring problem, even after reinstallation. The seat belt comes loose. This means in an accident the car seat would likely move off of the vehicle seat due to failure of the seat belt securing it to the vehicle seat.

Glass sunroof panel shattered while driving on empty highway at 60 mph. No explainable cause, e. G. No driving range nearby. The sunroof was rarely opened and was closed during the incident. There was no prior indication of failure. Noise resembled a loud bang. Shade prevented glass from raining down onto occupants. The noise was sudden and startled driver. Since road was empty, the incident did not cause the driver to loose control. No car behind, when chunks of glass blew off. After driving 15 miles, examination showed about 1/3 of the glass was missing. The much of the remaining glass was removed to reduce occupant risk. Shattered glass was vacuumed and can be examined but not as a pane. Next car will be driven to dealer. And possibly to insurance agent.

Jeep cherokee 2016 service 4wheel drive light came on the last 3-4 months but getting to be not safe to drive. Got it scanned at advanced auto. Code read ptu as the issue. There is a recall on this year jeep but i have a single speed ptu and the recall was on a 2 speed ptu. It’s upsetting that it doesn’t cover the single speed. Don’t understand why not. Single or 2 speed with bad ptu is dangerous so it should be considered covered/recalled.
