BOUGHT A LEFT OVER 2017 Kia Cadenza IN JULY OF 18,WITHIN FIRST 10,000 MILES CAR STARTED SOUNDING LIKE A HELICOPTER,TOOK TO THE DEALERSHIP,THEY DROVE IT,THOUGHT MAYBE A WHEEL BEARING,REPLACED THAT,ROTATED TIRES TOLD ME TO DRIVE FOR AWHILE AND SEE IF THAT CHANGED IT,WENT BACK 3 WEEKS LATER SAYING NEED TO ROTATE TIRES THEN WENT BACK AGAIN AT 17500 MILES WITH SAME ISSUE,SERVICE ADVISOR ASKED ME HARSHLY ?WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN DRIVING THIS THING?, I TELL ON THE HIGHWAY TO AND FROM WORK AND DAILY DRIVING,HE TELLS ME YOU KNOW YOU CAN TAKE THIS TO ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP, I SAY NO IT?S CALLED LOYALTY, I SPEAK WITH SERVICE MANAGER,HE DRIVES THE CAR REALIZING IT IS LOUD,HAS TIRES TAKEN OFF ANOTHER IDENTICAL CAR,SOUND GOES AWAY,HE TALKS TO KIA,THEY DECIDE TO GIVE ME NEW TIRES,THEY WERE INSTALLED CAR DRIVE FINE TILL ABOUT ANOTHER 12000 MILES AND NOISE CAME BACK,I WENT TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP FOR A OIL CHANGE 2 TIMES AND THEY NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT TIRES ON THEIR INSPECTION,DECIDED TO GO BACK TO ORIGINAL DEALERSHIP AND THEY TELL ME TIRES ARE FEATHERED AGAIN, I SAY HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A CAR GOING THROUGH 2 SETS OF TIRES IN 37000 MILES,THEY TELL ME IT?S OUT OF ALIGNMENT AGAIN, I HAVE NEVER HAD A CAR NEED ALIGNMENT BEFORE A 100000 MILES NOW THE CAR SHAKES AND SWAYS WITH THE GROVES IN THE ROADS AND NEEDS A THIRD SET OF TIRES AT 37000 MILES I BELIEVE THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE CHASSIS OF THIS CAR,MECHANIC AT THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THESE CARS ARE KNOWN TO FEATHER TIRES.
WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY, DASHBOARD ALERTED TO FRONT END COLLISION WARNINGS BUT I WAS NOT IN A COLLISION THEN MOMENTS LATER THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE BLEW CAUSING BODY DAMAGE TO THE BUMPER AND GUARDS, TOTALLY SHREDDING THE TIRE. THE CAR HAS ONLY 18,500 MILES AND TIRES WERE PROPERLY INFLATED. NORMAL DRIVING USE. TIRES ARE MADE BY KUMHO AND THE CAR IS A Kia Forte. I HAVE SEEN OTHER COMPLAINTS OF THESE SPECIFIC BRAND TIRES BLOWING OUT AROUND 20,000 MILES EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE GUARANTEED FOR 70,000 MILES. UNFORTUNATELY BLOW OUTS, BUBBLES, ETC ARE ALL NOT COVERED UNDER TIRE WARRANTY OR UNDER CAR WARRANTY. VERY DISAPPOINTING AND VERY DANGEROUS.
Driving on highway 70 and noticed that my tire was getting low. I got off the highway just in time. The tire shop. At 9550 st charles rock rd, breckenridge hills, mo 63114 at 5pm. The two young men came out laughing and one changed my tire. Left the shop and 30 mins later my tire was on flat. Came back the next morning. Young man said he'll fix it. He didn't give me another but stated a nail was in it. He think i'm stupid. He know he sold me a bad tire with the nail in it already. He painted the tire then put it back on my car. I was suspicious about the paint and paint brush. Left the shop and went home. On my way to work the same day almost had two accidents. Tire was hard to steer and the wheel didn't turn. I was scared to death. I could of lost my life 😔. . People need good used tires. Finally i went to car x and they took care of my problem and i felt safe to drive again.
Within a week both front and rear passenger wheel speed sensors failed. Resulting in a prompt on dash at start up and consistently displayed for aeb system service after vehicles automatic system scan an see difference in mileage in attached pictures. Kia technician said it is a common issue and sees atleast 4-5 vehicles per week with this part failure.
I'll start with the windows. Prior to covid my right rear passenger window motor and regulator went out. Citrus kia fixed it. Right after covid was announced my front right passenger window went out and i couldnt get my car in. 2 weeks later my front left driver window went out. When i finally got my car in they told me i was 200 miles over on my warranty to fix it. I havent had the use of either of my front windows for months. They dropped randomly going down the road. If i dont leave something wedged in the window they drop so far i have to use duct tape to adhere to it and pull up enough to grab it. Its definitely a safety issue that i cannot use my windows. And i dont know what is going on with the drive train , axle and suspension but i am eating through brand new tires every couple months. The dealership blamed it on me and seriously asked me if i was jumping curbs. I have had so many issues with this car since the motor got replaced. Not to mention my heat doesnt work unless its in defrost mode. The dealership knows about all these ongoing issues. Karen is my service advisor. I even tried to trade my car in with them and they turned it down. This car is falling apart and i am only one month away from having it for 4 years. I am the only owner it has had
