    For two years this car as had numerous episodes of while driving completely shutting down with no advanced warning and at various speeds. I have driven on warm, cold, wet and dry days when this has occurred. Most recently i was driving on a main street when the car just shut down and was almost hit from behind. The car has been in for service many times with no resolution, they say they can not duplicate the problem. This is a dangerous and unsafe automobile and i am lucky that the car behind me was able to avoid the collision. I am afraid to drive this car, luck was on my side this last time, i could have been injured or worse. Besides the shutting down this car has had so many electrical/computer issues and always needs software updates which don't really fix the problems and sometimes cause other issues to occur. (ie, the infotanment center, the bluetooth, the cameras, the media, the navigation, the access height moves while driving, the list is endless. ) since september 2018 this car has been in the dealership with many issues. Again, this car is dangerous and unsafe.

    ONE MONTH AFTER PURCHASING MY Land Rover Discovery I NOTICED THERE WAS A LAG TIME WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE WHEN MAKING A TURN. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID IT SHOULD BE RESOLVED BY UPDATING THE SYSTEM. THEY UPDATED IT BUT IT CONTINUED TO HAVE THE LAG ISSUE SO I COMPLAINED AGAIN AND THEY SAID IT?S THE NATURE OF THE CAR. I TOLD THEM THIS WAS VERY DANGEROUS AND THEY CLAIM THEY HAVEN?T RECEIVED ENOUGH COMPLAINTS TO SAY IT?S AN ISSUE WITH CAR. I ALSO HAVE HAD OTHER ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS SUCH AS THE NAVIGATION SCREEN GOING BLANK WHILE DRIVING OR NOT COMING ON AT ALL AND ALSO MY REMOTE KEY FOBS DO NOT WORK ALL THE TIME. EVEN WITH THE REMOTES IN MY HAND NEAR THE CONSOLE THE CAR WILL SAY THEY ARE NOT DETECTED. I BROUGHT IT BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THEY WERE FINE. TODAY, I RECEIVED A RECALL FROM LAND ROVER STATING THERE ARE VARIOUS ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH CAR WHERE THE VEHICLE COULD CUT OUT WHILE IN MOTION AND MAY LOSE ALL ELECTRICAL POWER. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TO FIND OUT THEY ARE BOOKED OUT FOR 3 WEEKS SO I WILL HAVE TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE THIS UNSAFE CAR. I THINK IT?S VERY IRRESPONSIBLE OF LAND ROVER TO PUT OWNERS IN A POSITION TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE A VERY UNSAFE CAR. THESE CARS SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE ROAD.

    I experienced an unintended powered rollaway. Specifically, as i was reversing out of my garage, i noticed something on the ground so i put the vehicle in park to pick it up. When i exited the vehicle, i was standing in the wedge between the driver? S seat and the open driver? S door, and the car unexpectedly rolled in reverse. I did not hear or see any warnings at any time that alerted me that i was in any danger. I quickly tried to get back into the car to stop it (my 4-yr-old son was inside) and, when trying to get back in, i was pushed out, fell to the ground, and found myself fighting with the door and the tire coming toward my head and body. I stuck my right hand into the car to press the brake pedal with my hand. Ultimately, my right hand fell out of the car, and the car rolled over and crushed it. The driver? S door hit my head, which caused a concussion and bleeding. The car dragged me from the garage into the driveway, causing tire burns and scrapes on my body. Ultimately, the car stopped when it rolled down the driveway and hit a post across the street. I was then transported to the hospital in an ambulance, where they ran multiple tests on my entire body and diagnosed my concussion and broken hand. I have since had to undergo reconstructive surgery on my right, dominant hand as the bones in my hand were crushed by the vehicle? S tire.

    The car was purchased on 4/10/17 and despite it being new, it had its faults. I had brought to land rover orlando and a range rover engineer/specialist? S attention that the car? S convenience features? Adapt. Cruise cntl with queue assist and intelligent (emergency braking) - all of which, were and up to the accident, not functioning properly. Although the lr dealership and/or rr engineer/specialist were reached out to a few times, despite the rr engineer/specialist inspecting and running diagnostics, no one was able to successfully and fully address and fulfill my concerns. The end result was that i was told to file a complaint to the manufacturer, which i did a few times and never received a follow up. The accident took place on 11/4/20 at around 8:15 am. After turning the car on and putting my seat belt on, i shifted the car into reverse with my foot still firmly on the brake and suddenly the car? S rpm jumped abruptly, resulting in me reversing into a car behind me. Having just gotten into an accident and calmly acknowledging the situation, i proceeded to shift the car into drive to move it and all of a sudden, again, the rpm jumped abruptly, causing the car to jump forward, back towards the direction i just came from, and despite trying to control the car and slow it down, the car uncontrollably drove over the curb and through a fence, pulling the fence out of place and it? S concrete foundation of about two feet, and went into high speed and flew about thirty to forty feet horizontally until finally collapsing in a dry retention pond about fifteen feet below. Since i bought this car i haven? T been satisfied with the safety of it. It is without doubt that i have suffered medical and car damage due to this incident. Additionally, still to this day, 11/18/20, i am suffering medical damages to my face, back, and body and mind as a whole.

    The turbocharger has gone out and the vehicle has less than 60k miles on it. How can this be possible? Aren? T land rovers a high end vehicle??? There is no reason that my american made car is older than this vehicle and i have had no costly repairs on it. Someone needs to review these turbochargers and ensure a better quality because these cars are too expensive as it is and now to fix this i need to pay over $3000!!! It? S not right! The vehicle will accelerate slowly and drive rough when gears are changing. The codes we get are for the turbo charger. *tr
