I had backed in to the garage and turned the? Knob? To park. The vehicle was in park, i had removed my seatbelt but not exited the car yet and the car went backwards with some force and breaking didn? T stop it, only after i hit the button to cut it off, multiple times, did it finally shut down. My husband was behind the car, getting ready to get the groceries out of the rear. This vehicle struck him and went thru the kitchen wall of our condo. His leg was stuck under the tire which that was turning on top of his calf. I am absolutely certain the car was in park bc not only was the knob set at p but also the p was on the screen. Only certain because i? M always cautious due to the proximity of distance of everything in the garage and tight quarters.
I have not been able to fill the gas tank completely, and the pump shuts off multiple times during the refuel process every time i pump gas. I have tried different angles, different gas stations, tried to refuel slowly but it stops multiple times.
I experienced an unintended powered rollaway. Specifically, as i was reversing out of my garage, i noticed something on the ground so i put the vehicle in park to pick it up. When i exited the vehicle, i was standing in the wedge between the driver? S seat and the open driver? S door, and the car unexpectedly rolled in reverse. I did not hear or see any warnings at any time that alerted me that i was in any danger. I quickly tried to get back into the car to stop it (my 4-yr-old son was inside) and, when trying to get back in, i was pushed out, fell to the ground, and found myself fighting with the door and the tire coming toward my head and body. I stuck my right hand into the car to press the brake pedal with my hand. Ultimately, my right hand fell out of the car, and the car rolled over and crushed it. The driver? S door hit my head, which caused a concussion and bleeding. The car dragged me from the garage into the driveway, causing tire burns and scrapes on my body. Ultimately, the car stopped when it rolled down the driveway and hit a post across the street. I was then transported to the hospital in an ambulance, where they ran multiple tests on my entire body and diagnosed my concussion and broken hand. I have since had to undergo reconstructive surgery on my right, dominant hand as the bones in my hand were crushed by the vehicle? S tire.
Vehicle went from park to reverse by itself. Drivers door was wide open when my wife started vehicle and by it self it engaged in reverse and ran the door into a wall. The vehicle almost ran over my wife while she was attempting to exit the vehicle. Luckily she was able to jump back in and push the brake to stop the car. My son was behind the car loading items. 3 of the 4 doors (driver's door, rear driver's side door and rear passenger side door) will not lock or unlock. Keyless entry system will not work, nor does using key fob. Doors can't be locked while car is in motion or when stopped. The 3 doors mentioned above stay unlocked at all times. *tr
When driving the vehicle, the fuel gauge came on, indicating the fuel level is low and illuminates the warning lamp, however the tank actually has more fuel (full tank of fuel).
There was a recall on this vehicle for the backup camera not engaging, land rover campaign n637. I have brought it in to the dealer three times to have this repaired. My backup camera still does not consistently work. Sometimes it works; sometimes it does not work.
I put my car in park while still running and exited it to grab something about 15 feet away on a front porch. I heard the engine make a noise, i turned my head and saw the car starting to move towards me up a slight hill on its own. I ran to the car, opened the driver door, and tried to stop it but fell. The car ran over my foot and hit the front of the house that caused it to stop. Prior to this incident it was in for service for a foul odor that was coming from inside of my car. They had it in the shop twice and made a repair that did not fully correct the issue. A few days prior to this incident i noticed there was an issue on acceleration. After about 10 miles an hour it would start to hesitate then go into the next gear. I was going to schedule a service for this and then the accident happen. With fewer than 15k miles on it, the land rover windshield has retained four rock chips and a long crack across the front windshield glass with normal driving. This pilkington glass is extremely fragile and dangerous. I have contacted land rover and my local fort worth dealer because it is inside warranty period and i feel this is a safety issue. The windshield sustains damage outside the expected damage from the tiniest bit of gravel. This i my fifth land rover and my third windshield to replace. I have brought this to land rover's attention, but they continue to refer to it as "an insurance claim" though i am presenting it as a safety issue & asking that it be addressed in some meaningful way. The car was in regular highway traffic, travelling well behind other traffic when all three rock chips and crack occurred. Land rover service manager, robert smiley, has repeatedly tried to hand this problem back to land rover. Rather than look at the issue, they've referred it back to him and he has done nothing to address it for over a month. I was not offered a loaner, but told that "if [you] don't feel safe, then don't drive the car. " mr. Smiley, joe quanguan, and land rover have treated my concerns about the safety of this window as a joke. I would like someone to address it and to document that this glass conforms to the standards placed upon imports by the us, if such standards exist.

Rotary controller for gear was in park position. Driver exited the vehicle with driver door open and both feet on ground when vehicle suddenly shifted into reverse gear. Driver was unable to jump back into vehicle to press on brakes and was forced under the open vehicle door. Occupants including a baby were in the back seat. Vehicle crashed into a building with driver door impact bending forward to slow the crash before striking a tree and coming to stop. Vehicle is a total loss with frame and roof damage, pillar damage extensive front/side and rear damage, door was nearly torn off hinge.

WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY (INTERSTATE 87), TRAVELING ABOUT 2 HOURS INTO MY DRIVE WITH MY 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND FAMILY DOG AT A SPEED OF 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE'S SYSTEM WENT INTO FAILURE MODE AND STATED "DIESEL PARTICULAR FILTER FULL" WITH NO PRIOR WARNING OF THIS. VEHICLE HAD SOME LOSS OF POWER THEN FOLLOWED BY "LIMP" MODE WHICH THEN WAS EXTREME LOSS OF POWER. VEHICLE SYSTEM FAILED AND DID NOT ISSUE PRIOR WARNING OF "REGENERATION" OF DIESEL PARTICULAR FILTER. VEHICLE HAD BEEN SERVICED SEVERAL TIMES FOR DEF FLUID LIGHT, DIESEL SENSOR ISSUES, AND ALSO FAILED NYS INSPECTION ON IT'S FIRST ANNUAL INSPECTION IN FEBRUARY 2019. I ALSO HAD IT REPAIRED SINCE FUEL TANK WENT TO "EMPTY" WHILE DRIVING. VEHICLE IS UNSAFE AND JAGUAR LAND ROVER SHOULD ACKNOWLEDGE THERE ARE MAJOR ISSUES WITH THE SAFETY OF THESE VEHICLES. WE WERE ORIGINALLY SOLD ANOTHER DIESEL Range Rover THROUGH SAME DEALER (MOUNT KISCO) BUT THAT VEHICLE COULD NOT PASS NYS INSPECTION AS WELL. WE WERE ASKED TO DRIVE IT FOR A COUPLE OF HUNDRED MILES AND BRING IT BACK FOR INSPECTION BUT IT KEPT FAILING AND WERE THEN SOLD THIS ONE.
Purchased land rover 04/28/2018. As of 07/30/2019 it had 13,000 miles on the odometer. ? Regular maintenance for vehicle followed, all at dealership, h&h land rover dealership, omaha, ne? A drive down to overland park, ks from omaha on interstate 29. ? At approximately 10:40am on 07/30/2019, while traveling on i-29 (southbound), the vehicle lost power (at 70mph) the merge to the breakdown lane. The vehicle had 13,000 miles on it. Pulled over at mile marker 71. - at this point vehicle is in park and stationary. ? While on cell phone to ask for help with triple aaa, a "popping sound followed by hissing" was heard to the rear of the vehicle, this sound was similar to what you may hear when a tire blows. At this time we could smell smoke and burning rubber. This is when the engine was immediately shut off. ? A good citizen pulled over, in front of our vehicle, and started to run towards our vehicle. Driver still inside of vehicle not realizing that it was on fire. Fire was under rear under carriage. Later determined the citizen noticed the fire and wanted to make sure no one was in the vehicle. ? Driver of burning vehicle opened door and looked towards the rear of vehicle to see large flames coming from undercarriage.
While driving door the highway my drivers side passenger door came open with my daughter in law in the rear seat as well as my 6 month old grandaughter. When this happen.. The screaming and hollering from the back seat caused my, the driver, to slam on brakes and pull to the shoulder hitting a safety guard rail and damaging my rear bumper. Land rover representative said they could not assume responsibility and told me to contact my insurance company for repair.
THE CAR WAS IN A STATIONARY POSITION ON THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY (TRAFFIC RELATED) WHEN ANOTHER CAR FAILED TO BRAKE AND HIT THE Range Rover FROM BEHIND GOING APPROXIMATELY 55 MILES AN HOUR. UPON IMPACT, THE DRIVER OF THE RANGE ROVER WAS PROPELLED FORWARD INTO THE STEERING WHEEL CAUSING FACE AND HEAD TRAUMA. DRIVER WAS WEARING A SEAT BELT. AFTER THE ACCIDENT, I TRIED TO ENGAGE THE SEAT BELT INTO A LOCKING POSITION WHICH IT FAILED TO DO. I HAVE CALLED THE DEALER AND RANGE ROVER CORP TO DISCUSS THE ISSUE. RANGE ROVER CORP SAID THERE WAS NO RECALL ON MY CAR AND WAS NOT INTERESTED IN DISCUSSING FURTHER. THEY WERE ALSO NOT INTERESTED IN VIEWING THE CAR.
