TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED MULTIPLE ELECTRICAL SENSOR FAILURES WITH SEVERAL WARNING MESSAGES DISPLAYED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. AFTER EACH FAILURE, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LAND ROVER PARAMUS (405 NJ-17, PARAMUS, NJ 07652) WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED FOR EACH FAILURE. ON ONE OCCASION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE AT A COMPLETE STOP, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING WITH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL DEPRESSED. DUE TO THE FAILURE, THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE SAME DEALER WHERE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED AGAIN. RECENTLY, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STALLING FAILURE RECURRED, AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE SAME DEALER WHERE IT REMAINED IN THE DEALER POSSESSION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,643.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE, THE TRANSMISSION DIAL DISENGAGED CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO BECOME UNDRIVABLE. ON ONE OCCASION, THE FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING OVER A RAILROAD TRACK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LAND ROVER HUNTINGTON LOCATED AT 1249 E. JERICHO TURNPIKE, HUNTINGTON, NY 11743, WHERE THE TRANSFER CASING WAS REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE COMPUTER SOFTWARE WAS REPROGRAMMED AND THE FAILURES CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

The gears on my range rover keeps getting stuck. The gears rarely will turn on the knob and has caused the gears to get stuck when driving or stop the car. Sometimes i put the car in park and the car keeps moving. I have took the car to range rover several times and was told nothing is wrong. I disagree for i bought the range rover july 2020 and since then has had many problems with the gears.

The driver side door is not locking, when i lock the car. Every door accept the driver side door. I have to manually lock it when i drive.

During a torrential downpour my car began leaking while parked on the street. The leaking subsided once the rain stopped. The headliner and my heated seats both got wet due to this issue. When i contacted the dealer in regard to this issue i was informed that this was a known issue and i would need to file a claim through my insurance or pay out of pocket. To my knowledge the windshield has never been replaced and this is the first time i have experienced this issue as i previously kept my car in a garage.

My front bumper has developed a crack along where it meets the front fender (my17 evoque) - i haven't hit anything and there's no sign of any impact from another vehicle

Front bumper is cracking and slowly breaking off at the fender. Looked up the problem online and it is very common and is a design flaw. I believe it is due to the heat the light gives off. This started 2 weeks ago and the crack is getting bigger. Never been in a accident didn? T hit anything. I talked to another evoque owner and he told me if the crack reaches the bottom of the fender it will fall off and could possibly hit someone while driving.

In non driving state smartkey-keyless vehicle module- lockout-immibilizer keyless acess/start randomly will not work,will self fix in a day or not at all so reset has to be performed, car is only able to be started with manual key blade

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO JAGUAR LAND ROVER ANAHEIM HILLS (5401 E LA PALMA AVE, ANAHEIM, CA 92807) WHERE THE GSM AND ALL TERRAIN SWITCH PACK WERE REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO PARETTI JAGUAR LAND ROVER BATON ROUGE (13934 AIRLINE HWY, BATON ROUGE, LA 70817) HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT LINKED THE FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V614000 (POWER TRAIN) HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE ALSO BEGAN TO RELEASE SMOKE FROM THE REAR AND FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER INTO A PARKING LOT AND THE VEHICLE TURNED OFF. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED AND EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. A FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A TOW LOT. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN EXAMINED BY A CERTIFIED MECHANIC OR DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

GOOD MORNING NTSA, I AM WRITING TO YOU IN THE REQUEST OF THE ASSISTANCE OF HELP TO ASK RANGE ROVER CORPORATION TO TAKE ACTION ON RECALLING FAULTY TRANSMISSION ON VEHICLES SUCH LIKE THE ONE THAT I JUST PURCHASED FEBRUARY 11, 2020, AT MERCEDES BENZ OF PLEASANTON, CA (Range Rover Evoque 2016) THAT ALMOST CAUSE AN ACCIDENT IN THE FREEWAY WHERE I LOST CONTROL IN ACCELERATION OR DECELERATION. I AM VERY THANKFUL THAT I MANEUVER TO DRIVE TO THE EMERGENCY ROAD SAVING MY FAMILY THAT COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT AND ENDANGERED THE LIVES OF OTHER PEOPLE AND MY FAMILY. IT WAS MAY 30TH, 2020 WHEN THE CAR MALFUNCTION IN THE I-80 FREEWAY. MY CAR WAS TOWED FOR SERVICE AT JAGUAR RANGE ROVER IN SACRAMENTO FOR REPAIR. MY WARRANTY DECLINED THE CLAIM DUE TO BULLETIN ISSUED CLAIMING THAT THERE IS A RECALL. I AM THANKFUL THAT NO ACCIDENT HAPPENED TO ME AND MY FAMILY, BUT NOW I AM FACING A BILL OF $3792.54 FROM A FAULTY TRANSMISSION.. RANGE ROVER CORP TOLD ME THAT THIS CAR WAS ALSO BEEN REPAIRED AT ANOTHER RANGE ROVER IN LIVERMORE FOR THE TRANSMISSION ISSUE THAT WAS REPAIRED SO MANY TIMES, IF THERE WERE A RECALL THEN THOSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED. THE FRUSTRATION OF PAYING AN EXPENSIVE CAR PLUS PAYING THE REPAIR THAT WAS NOT MY FAULT IS UNFAIR AND STILL NOT AT 100% OF THE CAR?S RELIABILITY THAT IS STILL LINGERING IN MY HEAD. I AM REQUESTING YOUR KIND ASSISTANCE AND GUIDANCE TO MAKE RANGE ROVER CORPORATION REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION AND GEARBOX AT THEIR COST. THE FAULTY TRANSMISSION THAT BEEN REPEATEDLY OCCURRING IN THIS VEHICLE IS DANGEROUS! MY THOUGHTS ARE THIS CAR IS CONSIDERED A LEMON CAR. THE RANGE ROVER LIVERMORE SHOULD ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE THE FAILURE OF THEIR SERVICE THAT ALMOST CAUSE AN ACCIDENT SHOULD BE ALSO REPRIMANDED OF THEIR ACTION.
