Consumers have filed a total of 91 complaints for Range Rover Evoque models.
The windshield is leaking onto the steering and electrical panel. When we took the vehicle to land rover, they told us that the car was out of warranty (4 months ago) and that it would cost us $1,900. We've only had this car for 3 years and have also had to replace the motor and transmission.
13,865 miles on vehicle and the steering rack breaks. This is an expensive fix that should not have broken at 13,865 miles.
2015 evoque, 50k miles only. On feb 26th 2020, i was on the interstate and noticed a humming sound from engine side. Gradually it because so loud and non ignorable. The vehicle lost power and slowed down on the interstate. My whole family survived a cluster crash by mere luck. Dealership says turbo is blown and this is common problem. Bills $4500 and am out of warranty since nov 2020. Common problem??? How can a 5 yr old 50k vehicle have a common problem that costs $4500 to fix? My research show land rover was always aware of this turbo failure issues and never attempted to fix it. This is a design issue hidden from customers and we are made to pay for the defect. Please investigate this with lr and i request a recall of turbos on all defective lr vehicles asap.
Loss of total acceleration when changing steady speed to a higher speed. Rpm gauge moves and the engine revs up as the gas pedal is pushed with no acceleration of the vehicle and the loss of present speed. No power at all as if the vehicle was in neutral. This issue started after the vehicle reached over 50,000 miles on the odometer. This has happened four times in the last five months on the interstate doing speeds of 50 mph to 70 mph, just recently at 50 mph on the interstate trying to merge into traffic.
The front windshield drips water from the top passenger side. The windshield has had no crack or ding or other damage
The car honks sporadically while parked outside in the rain.
While driving, my car will unexpectedly shift into neutral. Each time this has happened on deceleration and is accompanied by a "reselect gear" alert on the dash and an alarm (dinging) noise. This has happed 5-6 times in 3 months. I have to force the shifter out of d and into n then back to d and it will continue driving. I have taken in into the land rover dealership 2 times for a total of almost 6 weeks combined, and they have not been able to figure out the issue or get the fault to replicate. There is a recall for my same make and model, just not my vin, that is exactly the same as what my car is doing.
MY 2015 Range Rover Evoque WITH 52,000 MILES ON IT, LOST POWER WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. I WAS UNABLE TO ACCELERATE AND KEEP UP WITH TRAFFIC EVEN WITH THE GAS PEDAL COMPLETE TO THE FLOOR. ON ROADWAYS THAT HAD HILLS, I WOULD LOSE SPEED CAUSING TRAFFIC TO BACK UP BEHIND ME. THE CHECK ENGINE ALSO CAME ON. WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE AUTO REPAIR SHOP I WAS TOLD THAT THE TURBO CHARGER HAD FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE ESTIMATE WAS $6275.

The gears on my range rover keeps getting stuck. The gears rarely will turn on the knob and has caused the gears to get stuck when driving or stop the car. Sometimes i put the car in park and the car keeps moving. I have took the car to range rover several times and was told nothing is wrong. I disagree for i bought the range rover july 2020 and since then has had many problems with the gears.
My driver seat has been stuck and doesn? T move back and forth form it? S position and it? S not safe to drive , also the lane assistant does not work. Also my car is stuck in park and doesn? T move from p
Front windshield starting leaking where the top of the glass and the interior headliner meets. Car has 42000 miles.
Water drips in from windshield. This causes a distraction while driving. I'm assuming the seal is bad.
Recall #: n481 was resolved and i need it updated in the system so that my car can be relisted for rental asap pls
The driver side door is not locking, when i lock the car. Every door accept the driver side door. I have to manually lock it when i drive.
During a torrential downpour my car began leaking while parked on the street. The leaking subsided once the rain stopped. The headliner and my heated seats both got wet due to this issue. When i contacted the dealer in regard to this issue i was informed that this was a known issue and i would need to file a claim through my insurance or pay out of pocket. To my knowledge the windshield has never been replaced and this is the first time i have experienced this issue as i previously kept my car in a garage.
Seatbelt locks itself in standby position
My front bumper has developed a crack along where it meets the front fender (my17 evoque) - i haven't hit anything and there's no sign of any impact from another vehicle
Front bumper is cracking and slowly breaking off at the fender. Looked up the problem online and it is very common and is a design flaw. I believe it is due to the heat the light gives off. This started 2 weeks ago and the crack is getting bigger. Never been in a accident didn? T hit anything. I talked to another evoque owner and he told me if the crack reaches the bottom of the fender it will fall off and could possibly hit someone while driving.
