.I had 2 lights come on . First one said service advance trac . The second came on that hill assist start . The third no turn signal . I took it immediately to our Ford Lincoln dealer it Midland, Michigan . They have had it almost 3 weeks . The part supplier said it is out of stock and they have no idea when be in . I asked can you check with another dealership to see if they have one . He said they are out . I put a complaint into Lincoln they gave in a case# [XXX] . The driver that took us home said that, usually when the steering module goes out you can't steer the car . I was fortunate to get it to the dealership , very scared seeing I had no turn signals . Steering wheel became hard to turn suddenly, i then searched online saw the recall from ford that was reported years ago in 2016 and when i called the dealer to fixed he told me the recall is expired and they cannot service my car under the recall. Dealer suggested i should pay out of pocket. I just feel like it so unfair and such a safety hazard i didn't know anything of the recall when i bought the car in 2021 and because it's just happening now in 2024 the dealer won't cover the recall because the recall expired.

In february of 2024, my check engine light came on. I took it to a dealership who informed that it was a spark plug issue and that they had replaced it. The check engine light came on again fairly soon after, and before i could get it back to the dealership the car died. I had it towed there and was told that the battery needed to be replaced. The day after i got my car back, the light came back on again. After taking it back to the dealership, it was determined to be an engine issue, with coolant leaking everywhere (which is what ruined the spark plug and battery. ) the estimate to fix this issue is $6,550. 00. My lincoln mkz has approximately 60,000 miles and one owner who took care of the maintenance religiously - this should not be happening.
