Unexplained crack in windshield. Crack appeared without any external object striking the windshield. Temperature was in the 70s and not freezing temperatures all year (living in fresno ca). Not sure when it happened, but i noticed it when the car was parked after driving about 7 miles.
This is a company car and i sometimes work from the back seat during my travel to clients as it's large and comfortable. I recently had occasion to meet with a client during inclement weather so we were in the rear of my car for about 30 minutes. After this time i could not release the door locks with the keyless remote, i am partially disabled and had to climb over the front seats to manually release the driver's door! I was trapped and my client was very upset. This is a major safety issue that is unacceptable. All doors - with the exception of the driver's door only open with a solenoid! I am terribly afraid that in the event of accident passengers would be trapped in the vehicle. I am asking the manufacturer to take this vehicle back after approximately one year of use. Note that the doors can be opened from outside when this occurs, just traps passengers inside the car. I can no longer drive this car!
While driving driver side door opened and would not close. After a number of times attempting to close the door, it finally did properly close.
The exterior door latches will not open from the outside on the passenger side of the vehicle

December 26 2020, upon attempting to exit the front passenger seat, the door would not open when button depressed to open the door and allow passenger to exit. Door only allowed for exit when opened from the outside handle. Inability to exit vehicle puts lives in danger. Vehicle was parked when incident occurred
The wiper and washers do not operate as intended. Operation is sporadic. Washers do not respond to the control. They turn on by themselves, usually after starting the car and will empty the washer fluid reservoir. The wipers do not respond to the controls. They too may turn on at anytime on their own. But they do not turn on when you operate the switch to turn them on. These occurrences happen regardless of the car being in park or in gear. After 2 weeks in the dealership, they have been unable to solve the problem and have been replacing various parts, trial and error, to no avail.
ON MY 2020 Lincoln Continental THE BRAKE PEDAL IS ABOUT ONE INCH HIGHER THEN THE GAS PEDAL. ON MOST CARS THE BRAKE AND GAS PEDALS ARE EVEN IN HEIGHT. ON THIS CAR WHEN I MOVE MY FOOT TO STOP THE CAR I MUST LIFT MY FOOT. A FEW TIMES THE SIDE OF MY FOOT HAS HIT THE BRAKE PEDAL CAUSING A MOMENTARY DELAY IN STOPPING.
2017 Lincoln Continental. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO STEERING WHEEL MALFUNCTION. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE HAD A WATER LEAK DAMAGING THE COMPUTER SYSTEM. THIS CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO FAIL WHILE DRIVING. *JS
Random problems with multiple electrical areas; approach lights not coming on, instrument cluster deprograming presets, interior lights, outside mirrors folding when programmed not to do so, interior rear view mirror markedly changing position, hud malfunctioning. Lincoln tells me that i am not driving it enough and the battery is going down. That then makes the computer to malfunction. The latest attempt to remedy this is the installation of a tricle charger. The connection to it hangs out a hole in the grill where i suspect it will beat my bumper to pieces. They now tell me that i must store the fob no less than 50 feet from the car so that the fob talking to the computer will run the battery down. *tr

THE DOORS ON OUR 2017 Lincoln Continental OPEN WHILE DRIVING. WE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY CANNOT FIX IT FOR ANOTHER YEAR. IT IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE BECAUSE OF DOORS OPENING AT TIMES AND NOT UNLOCKING AT TIMES TOO. WE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AS SOON AS WE FOUND OUT THIS PROBLEM LAST YEAR AND THEY JUST TOLD US TO CALL THIS YEAR, SO WE DID - SO BASICALLY WE HAVE TO WAIT 2 YEARS TO GET OUR LINCOLN FIXED? DOORS OPEN WHILE DRIVING. DOORS WILL NOT LATCH WHILE DRIVING OR STATIONARY.

Door lock issues as they opened and won't close while driving
"takata recall", on april 25, i was traveling to atlanta, ga from virginia to attend a conference and stopped to get gas and my driver's door locked me inside the car. I had to use the latch to release the lock. I have contacted dealership about the issue and i have not received any remedy to this issue. My vehicle will not let me set the cruise control on the highway, the wrench light stays lit and i'm worried about what else maybe wrong. I'm afraid to drive my car that i'm paying payments on. It has been almost 5 months and still no remedy.

WE ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THE LEVEL OF SERVICE FROM THE LINCOLN MOTOR COMPANY AND SERRAMONTE FORD DEALERSHIP IN COLMA, CALIFORNIA, WITH SPECIFIC REFERENCE TO THE CASE, CAS-1758606, RECALL 19S03 AND NHTSA RECALL # 1V-077. OUR VEHICLE'S DRIVER DOOR WILL NOT CLOSE AND IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE ONGOING ISSUE HAS BEEN PROBLEMATIC FOR VICTORIA SEDAN & LIMOUSINE. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN AT THE DEALERSHIP SINCE APRIL 1, 2019, AND HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED EVEN AFTER CONTACTING SERRAMONTE FORD, FORD HEADQUARTERS AS WELL AS LINCOLN CONCIERGE. WE WERE DENIED A LOANER VEHICLE OR ANY SORT OF COMPENSATION FOR TIME LOSS AND THE LACK OF EFFORT IN RESOLVING THIS ISSUE IN A TIMELY MANNER HAS FORCED US TO TAKE A FINANCIAL LOSS, REASSIGN THE CHAUFFEUR WHO HAD THE VEHICLE AND PUT A STRAIN ON OUR OPERATIONS. WHAT MAKES MATTERS WORSE IS THAT WE HAVE LEARNED THAT ONE OF OUR PARTNERS; WITH THE SAME TYPE OF BUSINESS HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH THEIR Lincoln Continental. THEY TOOK IT TO THE FORD LINCOLN DEALERSHIP IN CONCORD, CALIFORNIA AND WERE GIVEN A LOANER WHILE THEIR CAR AWAITED THE DEFECTIVE PART WHICH HAS SINCE BEEN REPAIRED. THIS RAISES THE QUESTION AS TO WHY OUR OPERATION WAS TREATED DIFFERENTLY. WE ARE REACHING OUT TO YOU TO SEE IF YOU CAN H ASSIST US GETTING THE ISSUE RESOLVED AS THE AGENCIES MENTIONED WERE UNABLE TO DO SO.
Driver's door does not electronically close fully when it is pulled shut, and a message on the instrument panel indicates that the door is not closed. It requires several attempts to ensure that the door remains fully closed and locked.
