In oct. Of 2018, i purchased a mazda with yokohama advan sport v105, 195/50r16, 84v tires. These were the standard tires that came on the car. Now some 15,832 miles later and less than 3 yrs. , i am told that they have "micro cracks" and should be replaced. Closer research revealed that these are "summer tires" that "flexing of the specialized rubber compounds used in max performance summer tires during cold-weather use can result in irreversible compound cracking. Compound cracking is not a warrantable condition because it occurs as the result of improper use or storage, tires exhibiting compound cracking must be replaced. " at no time was i warned that driving with these tires in the winter could cause this damage. More important is the fact that they get dangerously little traction under these cold conditions-especially with even a minimal amount of snow. A consumer should be warned about this foreseeable dangerous condition-especially when this car is sold in a state with severe winters.

I heard a pinging sound coming from one of the wheels. When i got out and looked, i discovered the wheels are beginning to flake and degrade. I contacted mazda customer service and was told i would have to cover the cost of replacement as the vehicle is out of warranty.

Water leak in trunk area leading to about a 2-inch puddle of water accumulation inside the trunk at the location of the spare tire area. Issue was noticed on april 16, 2021. The water accumulated on top and at the bottom of the spare tire. The parts of the vehicle are beginning to be negatively affected --mold, etc. There were items stored around the spare tire? E. G. Flat tire repair kit, emergency blanket, etc. That developed mold due to the accumulated water and were thrown away upon inspection. In addition to the spare tire area accumulating several inches of water, the spare the cover (i. E. Plastic honeycomb type that sits directly on top of the spare tire) is affected with the evaporation/condensation of the accumulated water. All other parts of the trunk and vehicle are were not wet to the touch. The source of the water is unknown. And it was not a user error type of issue? The vehicle has been stored with all windows, doors, trunk, and hood closed. Concern is that the accumulation of water will lead to the development of mold inside the vehicle and an unhealthy environment for the driver and passengers occupying the car. Additionally, it will lead to vehicle corrosion since the area where the water accumulates is not intended to be consistently holding water. Attached are several photos showing the affected area. Note that the photos only show the accumulated water that was underneath the spare tire after the water accumulated on top of the spare tire (inner section of the spare tire metal wheel which lays up when stored in the vehicle? S trunk), close to 2-inches worth, was removed along with the spare tire itself. I did not think of taking photos of the issue until after i removed the spare tire and the accumulated water. Please look into the matter and consider issuing a recall that would allow mazda to correct the problem. Thank you.

Vehicle was on a city street traveling at 35-40 mph when the front left wheel (yokohama geolandar g91) spontaneously blew out despite not colliding with any objects or road hazards. As a result, driver side curtain and seat airbags erroneously deployed and the vehicle immediately shutoff, causing disorientation and temporary loss of hearing in one ear.

I BOUGHT A USED 2017 Mazda CX-9 FROM WEST SHORE HONDA IN TAMPA IN JULY OF 2020. THEY SCREWED ME FINANCIALLY AND I'LL HANDLE THAT SEPARATELY. THERE HAS BEEN AN ONGOING ISSUE SINCE THE FIRST FEW DAYS AFTER BUYING THE CAR. I'VE COMPLAINED MULTIPLE TIMES VIA EMAIL AND PHONE. I'VE BEEN TRYING THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT COUNTLESS TIMES. THEY KEEP STATING IT'S A TIRE ISSUE. TO THE POINT THEY HAVE REPLACED THE TIRES 3 TIMES. AFTER THE SECOND TIME I HAD ALREADY DECIDED IT'S NOT TIRES. THE CAR HAS A VERY ROUGH RIDE WHEN I'M MOTION. ONCE YOU GOT 80 IT WOBBLES. AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS THE WOBBLE CAN BE FELT AT LOWER SPEEDS OF 55/60. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON BUT I'M TOLD THERE'S NO CODES WHEN THEY DIAGNOSTIC THE READING. I'VE EXPRESSED THAT WHEN I PULL INTO MY GARAGE WITHIN 30 SECONDS TO A MINUTE THERE'S A LOUD POP IT'S WHEN THE CAR IS NOT IN MOTION WHEN IT'S BEEN PARKED AND TURNED OFF IS WHEN I NOTICED IT. I BROUGHT IT TO MY PERSONAL MECHANIC JUST TO LOOK AT AND DRIVE AND HE'S PRETTY CERTAIN IT'S A POWERTRAIN BEARING OR SOMETHING OF THOSE SORTS. BROUGHT IT BACK TO WESTSHORE AND THEY PUT ANOTHER SET OF TIRES ON IT. THIS IS BEEN GOING ON NOW FOR 9 MONTHS AND AFTER DOING RESEARCH ONLINE AND SOME OF THE NHTSA IDS THIS IS A PROBLEM AND I DO NOT FEEL SAFE. AND IT NEEDS TO BE HANDLED THE AMOUNT OF COMPLAINTS IN TIMES THAT I VISITED THAT DEALERSHIP TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AND ALL THEY DO IS PUT NEW TIRES ON IT IS ASININE. I HAVE TONS OF DOCUMENTATION THE SAME DOCUMENTATION THAT'S AT THE DEALERSHIP I DO EVERYTHING VIA EMAIL FOR THAT REASON.
