The headlights are unsafe! Extremely dim. We have replaced the bulbs and gotten great led lights but the issue is still there. Sometimes i feel like my lights aren’t even on but they are, i cannot see. Please can you fix this. They just keep getting worse. I would have to drive with high beams on just to be safe. I don’t drive at night in my car if i don’t absolutely need to because of this issue.

My infotainment center experiences a ghost touch, typically in hot weather, where it just randomly starts pressing buttons on the touch screen, increases volume, hits play/pause over and over again. It is very distracting when it occurs while i’m driving

I took my vehicle into rbmc dealership due to the vehicle was experiencing electrical issues and had an open recall / still does. The dealership said i can’t have a dash cam plugged in to a charging port. Fcm / ldw / e-break staying on / throwing error codes = c1001 fsc failure type 97 & u3003 epb control module power supply failure type 16. They gave me back the car the battery failed the next day and when i called them they banned the vin of this car to ever return to them. ( the battery was under factory warranty) the issue has only gotten worse and removed my dash cam as they demanded and now i can’t get the car fixed and the issue has gotten worse then taking the car to this dealership less then 30 days ago. They also did not perform the recall when the car was there. The car now has the fallowing codes b13d3 / c1001 / u3003 & possibly more codes because the whole dash is flashing auto light / fcm/ ldw and break. My 73 year old grandma can’t even take the car in to get fixed the refuse to touch it after it had issues when they gave it back to us and it’s under a extended warranty and was a cpo and has a extended warranty through mazda. Car only has 31k miles on it and is dangerous for her to dive and myself. Issue has been on going for over a month.

The car has some. Kind of electric or electronic malfunction that drains the battery and kills it without giving you a warning. I have taking it to a mazda dealer to be fix 4 times and they don't seem to be able to fix it. The battery was replaced. Twice one by me and the second time by the dealer in an attempt to solve the problem at some point. Unfortunately just yesterday it happened again it had to towed to the mazda dealer again for the fifth time. I really hope a solution can be found.

My touch screen, has been acting up. While driving, the navigation system will automatically change prompts while driving. It will change to music, random dials, consistently change to random dials. I am unable to stop the dials from changing. I have read on the internet people are calling this "ghost touching". The volume will randomly go up high while driving. I am unable to control the volume or prompts. This is dangerous while on the road. I am unable to hear first responders while driving in traffic. This is a huge distraction. Many people i am reading are going through this with their mazdas... This is costing us more than 3,000 or 4,000 to get fixed. I am unable to get this fixed for this price. I am unable to get a new car.

Noticed a burning oil smell coming from the car along with leaking oil in the driveway. Vehicle has 53000 miles on it and was 3 months out of powertrain warranty but still under the 60000 mileage cap. Local mazda dealership came back saying that it was a "sa-037/23 oil leak at cylinder head, cylinder head replacement with parts kit" and quoted $5100 to repair. Dealership stated that the vehicle was unsafe to operate. There were no dash indicator lights or symptoms of overheating to indicate that there was a problem outside of the smell. After the diagnosis was made, we researched and found that this was a commonly reported problem for this model year

The contact owns a 2018 mazda mazda3. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 23v487000 (back over prevention) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was not contacted due to the local dealer going out of business. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and informed the contact that a second notice would be mailed when the part to do the recall repair was available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Vin tool confirms parts not available.

Noticed an oil smell when driving the vehicle, slightly premature to when it was due for an oil change. Engine was emitting light blue smoke when parked after driving for more than 20 minutes. Took the car to a mazda dealership to get serviced two days after noticing the issue and was told that the cylinder head was cracked and needed to be replaced. There was oil leaking from the vehicle, which i had not noticed, and it had soaked a lot of the front undercarriage of the car. Research into the effects of an oil leak indicate that it can cause a serious malfunction of the engine and other components of the car, but i did not experience that in the time of noticing the problem and taking the vehicle to get serviced. The problem was diagnosed by the service department at a mazda dealership and is being repaired there. The oil indicator came on a day after noticing the smell.

I have a 2017 mazda 3 with exactly 59,454 miles. I was driving my car into work and a warning came on saying coolant temperatures high pull over immediately. I feel my safety was at risk since i was on a highway and my car lost power and would not allow me to accelerate. Loaded the car on a flatbed to bring into a mazda dealership. I had oil leaking into my coolant. They diagnosed it as a cracked cylinder head or engine block. Only solution i was given was to replace the engine with a factory new engine. I spoke to mazda customer service and they admitted it is a known issue.
