The auxiliary cooling radiator was punctured by a foreign object, resulting in leaking coolant and engine overheat. The radiator is located in the lower left side of the bumper, with a large opening and no protection, leaving it susceptible to damage from rocks or even large enough insects while driving. The incident occurred while driving, causing my engine to overheat, and the need to pull over and have the car towed.

I was driving behind my girlfriend who was driving my 2016 mini clubman, when i noticed the brake lights appeared to not be working... I took the mini clubman to the dealership the next day, showed them the problem and the inspector said he would get it fixed by their service team. After they had it for 24 hours, they called to tell me that the way the lights were working is the correct light pattern for this vehicle. They were also stumped because they felt this wasn't the best brake lighting for a vehicle but upon further investigation they determined that all mini coooper clubmans have this brake lighting. Ifeel the brake lights are difficult to see and why are they so low? Why couldn't mini utilize the upper big red lights for brake lights? I was driving behind the mini in a truck and it was difficult to see the brake lights. I think there should be a recall and they shoudl fix this brake light issue.

Vehicle's switch controlling headlights was left in the "parking lights on" mode inadvertently (it opened terminal 15 per mini). Car would not start less than 12 hours later. Mini reports that this "damaged the battery beyond repair" and said it was not subject to warranty replacement because the user had operated the switch. If this happened for many mini owners, people would be stranded and left in a dangerous condition. Furthermore, this is clearly something mini is choosing to ignore and classify as user error when it is a defect. Mini charged $600+ plus dollars to replace the battery, reprogram the vehicle and physically install the new battery. The dealer rep said he has personally seen 6 other vehicles this year alone with the same problem.

February 21, 2019 i was pulling into a parking space and the brakes temporarily failed. When i pumped them a second time they came to a stop, however by then the car and i had gone over a hedge and side swiped a tree. Bmw north america could not find any warning on march 11, 2019 when they reviewed the systems, no warnings at all, no air bags deployed. I was turning in to a familiar parking lot at a slow speed.
