I was driving down the freeway at 70mph, my truck lost power, i was in the fast lane i nearly missed a car due to my truck losing power, i pulled off to the shoulder. I noticed a knocking sound coming from my engine bay, no check engine messages appeared on my dashboard. I turned my engine off because of the noise, and had my car towed home. I have a friend who is a diesel mechanic at a nissan dealership look at my truck and was told the engine needs to be replaced.
