THE HEADLIGHTS IN THE CAR ARE EXTREMELY DIM, CAUSING A MAJOR ISSUE WITH VISIBILITY AT NIGHT. THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE SINCE 2016 AND I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE BRAND NEW IN 2015 AND HAVE BEEN THE SOLE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE. I COMPLAINED TO THE DEALER ABOUT THE LACK OF VISIBILITY AT DARKNESS AND THEY REPLACED THE BULBS, WHICH DID NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. I WAS INSTRUCTED BY THE DEALER THAT IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE PROJECTOR LENS, NOT THE BULBS. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THE 2013 - 2015 Nissan Altima'S, YET NISSAN HAS NOT RECALLED IT. I FEAR THIS ISSUE WILL CAUSE A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT.
TL- THE CONTACT WAS AN ADMINISTRATOR FOR THE CHILD DEATH REVIEW FOR LA COUNTY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE OWNER OF A 2016 Nissan Altima EXITED THE VEHICLE WITH THE HEATER ON, WITH A 2 YEAR OLD CHILD LOCATED IN A CHILD SAFETY SEAT INTHE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE CHILD PASSED AWAY DUE TO HEAT STROKE. THE TEMPERATURE IN THE VEHICLE EXCEEDED 117 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. DL
Since the purchase of this vehicle i? Ve had two instances that i feel are defect related. The tire indicator lights continued to read low air. The tire was leaking some type of black film and a huge knot appeared on the side of the tire. Another incident involved the tire completely blowing. The tire defects were reported back to the company and were indicated as no fault to manufacture. Since i? Ve complained of a recall that has been in the model vehicle but a different year. My visibility is obstructed due to all windows retaining dew and moisture causing fog to appear in all windows. It happens while driving early morning & at dawn during temperature changes. The defrost doesn? T clear the windows. During rainy weather the car is completely disabled due the obstruction in vision from the thickly fogged windows. I had it checked by the service department and was told it was like that because the window was dirty. I don? T feel like service has thoroughly inspected the vehicle. I? M concerned for the safety of myself and my child and have stressed this to them numerous times. During each defect, the vehicle was in motion. Please help
My windshield cracked in october 2020. Bought it in august 2020 and my sister and mother both own nissans(sentra and rouge). Both windshields are cracked.
I WENT FROM A WHITE 2019 Nissan Murano TO A BLACK 2020 MURANO. THE WEEK AFTER I GOT IT, I TOOK A TRIP TO THE GULF COAST. ON MY WAY DOWN, WHEN THE SUN WAS OVERHEAD, THE REAR "LIP" OF THE HOOD ACTED JUST LIKE A MIRROR AND REFLECTED THE SUN RIGHT IN THE DRIVERS EYES. IF YOU LOOK AT THE HOOD, IT SLANTS UP LIKE A NORMAL HOOD, THEN THE LAST 3 INCHES ARE TILTED DOWN TOWARD THE COWL/WINDSHIELD WIPER AREA. I AM ATTACHING A PICTURE, HOWEVER IT DOES NOT ACCURATELY SHOW HOW BRIGHT THIS REFLECTION IS. IT IS EXACTLY LIKE SOMEBODY TAKING A MIRROR AND SHINING IT IN YOUR EYES. I PARTICIPATE IN THE NISSAN EMPLOYEE LEASE PROGRAM AND TOOK IT BACK TO THE ADMINISTRATOR AND THEY SAID THAT THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT; THAT IT WAS A DESIGN ISSUE. THIS SITUATION ONLY HAPPENS WHEN THE SUN IS HIGH IN THE SKY BUT IT IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION WHEN IT REFLECTS IN YOUR EYES. BELOW ASKS FOR A SPECIFIC DATE BUT IT HAPPENS ANY TIME THE CONDITIONS ARE RIGHT.
