CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARD TO SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 19V-654 REAR VISIBILITY ISSUE. *AS THE CONSUMER WAS UNABLE TO SEE OUT OF THE REAR WINDOW, AT TIMES DUE TO LARGE BUBBLES IN THE WINDSHIELD. THE CONSUMER STATED THE THERE WERE ACID RAIN SPOTS IN THE PAINT. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. *JS

    TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 Nissan Altima. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN THREE UNKNOWN RECALLS. WHILE THE CONTACT'S FRIEND WAS DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED AND ATTEMPTING TO STOP, THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DRIVER'S RESIDENCE. THE CONTACT CALLED MORRIE'S BROOKLYN PARK NISSAN AT 612-426-5487 (LOCATED AT 7875 BROOKLYN BLVD, BROOKLYN PARK, MN 55445) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT APPROVE THE REPAIR UNDER THE WARRANTY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS NO CLEAR EXPLANATION FOR THE MANUFACTURER'S DECISION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE SELLER (CORNERSTONE PLYMOUTH, 763-559-5300, LOCATED AT 3901 VINEWOOD LN N, PLYMOUTH, MN 55441) WHO CONNECTED WITH THE THIRD PARTY WARRANTY COMPANY AND REPAIRED THE VEHICLE. ADDITIONALLY, WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT A CAR WASH IN JULY OF 2019, THE REAR WINDOW SHATTERED WITHOUT WARNING OR AN IMPACT. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 65,000.

    TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 Nissan Altima. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR WINDOW LOWERED APPROXIMATELY 3/4 DOWN AUTOMATICALLY AND THE DOOR ERRONEOUSLY UNLOCKED AND OPENED. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE ALSO OCCURRED WHEN LOWERING THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR WINDOW FROM BOTH THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR AND REAR PASSENGER DOOR. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND LOCAL DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,000.

    2015 Nissan Versa SV. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO SEVERAL DESIGN DEFECTS ON VEHICLE. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THE ELECTRONIC KEY HOLD WAS EXTREMELY SENSITIVE CAUSING THE TRUNK LID TO OPEN INADVERTENTLY. THE GAS PEDAL SEEMS TO STICK CAUSING THE ENGINE TO REV. THE VEHICLE HAS AN INTENSE WOBBLE CAUSING A NAUSEATING SENSATION. THE CHROME AROUND THE SPEEDOMETER AND DASHBOARD REFLECTION CAUSES A VISIBILITY ISSUE. THE CONSUMER WOULD INADVERTENTLY LEAVE THE KEY THE IGNITION AND MANUALLY LOCK THE DOOR, THUS LOCKING THE KEY IN THE CAR. THE CONSUMER SUGGESTED AN ALARM FOR SUCH OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE HAS LOW FREQUENCY CONSTANT HUMMING FREQUENCY BASS LIKE DRONING NOISE THAT'S CENTERED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT. *JS
