For over 6 months my vehicle has been sputtering off and on. Just recently, when cranking it up, it would blow out white smoke and sputter even worse. We bought it in march 2020 knowing it was sputtering but the dealership claimed to have fixed it. Now it's with nissan where it's been for almost 2 weeks. They're stating that the transmission and engine has to be replaced. They also stated that these vehicles are notorious for these issues. I've also found numerous complaints online about these particular year and make/ model vehicles having the same issues. If this really is an issue, it needs to be addressed!
IT'S A NEW 2019 Nissan Sentra I TOOK IT IN LAST YEAR AND THEY REPLACED THE BATTERY BECAUSE I KEPT HAVING A DEAD BATTERY WHERE I WOULD HAVE TO JUMP START MY CAR, NOW AGAIN 2021 ITS DOING THE SAME PROBLEM WHERE I HAVE TO JUMP START MY CAR 2-3 PER WEEK.
The vehicle stalls when attempting to accelerate after a complete stop at a stop sign and traffic light. This issue has been going on and off from the year 2020 until now, march 22nd, 2021. The acceleration stalls have almost caused about three accidents so far in busy intersections in north jersey. I have brought the suv into nissan service center three different times and their response was,? Scanned vehicle, no dtc codes found at this time npf no problem found at this time?. I have multiple video documentation showing a high rpm of 3-4 while vehicle? S mph is barely passing 20mph, resulting to the engine check light appearing and the malfunction error message illuminating on the dashboard.
Check engine light came on.
Vehicle was perfectly fine, but then begin to stall out on 3/1 in motion on the street, while turning, & backing up. Then on 3/18 when attempting to back up the car it completely stopped. Car is at the shop now with reported transmission issues.
