Having issues with my dome lights staying on, once all the doors, are closed. I? Ve had this checked 3 times, at 2 different nissan? S and know one can find the issue. I? M putting it in the shop, later this week i? Ve had to replace the battery, do to the dome lights, being on and i have no knowledge until my family comes home, or my neighbor lets us know. I just purchased this vehicle in march 2020.
Went to start my vehicle and everything but the engine would start. Tried for several minutes, locked, unlocked car then left it alone for 5 minutes and it finally started. Then, less than a week later, while i was driving, the bci malfunction warning and a bunch of other lights came on and car slowed down significantly. Had to pull over, look up this warning and follow directions others who had this same issue did. I turned vehicle off, waited a minut and turned it back on. Warning cleares. The next morning my car wouldn't start. Had to swap cars with husband so i could get to work. This morning i tried to start it again and it wouldn't start. I've now been waiting 3 hrs for a tow truck to get vehicle. Vehicle has less than 40k miles and is a 2017 model.
Air bag light is on and flashes strange pattern. No wrecks or bumps in vehicle.
Every time my car is in parking and i press the break to put my car on drive i heard a noise in the gear lever when i trying to put my car on revers or on drive the noise is so loud. The noise comes in the transmission. I brought my car to the dealer but they said that they don? T see nothing but feel it anytime.
DEAD BATTERY UNDER NORMAL USAGE. THE VEHICLE STARTED AS NORMAL FROM HOME. I PARKED IIT AFTER 30 MINUTES DRIVING. AFTER TWO HOURS BACK AT THE PARKING LOT THE Armada WOULD NOT START. I HAD TO JUMP START IT.
The bci malfunction keeps coming up while i'm driving. When i contact the dealer i'm told that i cannot get anything done unless the alert is on when they look at my vehicle. The car will also become difficult to start. The bci malfunction comes up while i am driving the vehicle randomly.
The automatic emergency braking randomly kicks in and then will randomly go off and then disable cruise control.
While driving car will start acting weird as though i? M have a little difficulty accelerating. Then a light will come on that looks like a car with a windy road. Then after a minute or two a ton of other lights will come on and an alert of bci malfunction will appear. Tried to google to see what other people have done to resolve and some have said that they have to pull over because the car has actually shit off on its own. So, i always try to pull over and turn the car off and back on. Sometimes the car will not turn back on and it will leave me stranded. I also have been in park when the alert came on and it would not allow me to shift into drive, again leaving me stranded.
Transmission will not shift gears properly , causing vehicle to stall in traffic this is the second time this has happened with this vehicle , 1st time nissan replaces transmission and now this happens again
We have almost had a couple of accidents due to brakes automatically engaging. First we were backing out of driveway with nothing around but the vehicle implied brakes in the middle of the road. Luckily the vehicle that came barreling down our road slowed down until the vehicle finally let the brake off. Then 4 more times when driving applying brakes randomly! This is not safe. Luckily, we were not on the highway. Brakes continue to apply randomly without the safety surround sensors activated! Vehicle is at dealer today!
While driving, the brakes will engage involuntary and most the lights on the dashboard light up. A message bci malfunction appears. Car can not accelerate at a safe speed until car is parked and restarted. Sometimes it will not start up immediately, leaving the occupants of the vehicle stranded.
7/25/2020 Nissan Armada PLATINUM RESERVE - WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE CANYON, I HAD THE BRAKES START APPLYING THEMSELVES THEN ALL THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH CAME ON WITH A MESSAGE "BCI MALFUNCTION." WE WERE ABLE TO GET PULLED OVER SAFELY AND TURN THE CAR OFF. WE THEN RESTARTED THE CAR AND THE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN, SO WE REPEATED THE STEPS AND THE LIGHT WENT OFF. AT OUR NEXT STOP, THE CAR WOULD NOT START NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES WE TRIED FROM THE NORMAL PUSH BUTTON START. WE WERE FINALLY ABLE TO GET IT START BY USING REMOTE START ON THE KEY FOB. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN THAT IS AN ONGOING ISSUE WITH NISSAN ARMADAS AND INFINITY QX MODELS, BASED ON MULTIPLE FORUMS ONLINE. THIS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY BEFORE SOMEONE GET SEVERELY INJURED OR EVEN KILLED. 60K VEHICLE WITH 40K MILES ON IT.
Vehicle intermittently displays a bli malfunction and decelerates the vehicle while driving highway speeds. It occasionally does it while idling and will not allow the car to be put in gear. When it happens at start up, it will not allow the vehicle to start and only activates the accessories. The incidents began happening at around 55,000 miles and has been continuous and increasing in frequency since 6/20/20
WHILE DRIVING AT RATE OF 45 MILES PER HOUR IN THE CITY OF OXNARD, CA IN MY 2017 Nissan Armada SL, THE CAR STARTED TO IMMEDIATELY SLOW DOWN TO A SPEED OF 5 MILES PER HOUR, WHICH ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. THE ANTISKID AND 4X4 LIGHTS AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, BUT THE CAR COULD NOT ACCELERATE. I HAD TO PULL OVER TO ALLOW TRAFFIC TO CONTINUE. AFTER WAITING FOR SEVERAL MINUTES WITH THE CAR OFF I RESTARTED THE CAR AND THEN DROVE AS NORMAL. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO GET LOOKED AT, BUT THE TECHNICIAN COULDN'T DETERMINE THE CAUSE USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT. THE CAR CONTINUES TO DRIVE NORMAL, BUT THEN STALLS AND THE SAME ISSUE ARISES.
Flashing airbag warning light. Car has never been in an accident. Obd code indicated error in side curtain airbag. Dealer replace side curtain airbag. Flashing airbag warning light returned. Obd code indicated same error as before for side curtain airbag. Light occurred during normal driving. Car has low mileage, approximately 17000 miles. Dealer can't determine cause of light or how to correct it.
Truck will not start after several attempts. Have had battery replaced in september due to the same problem. Have had the brake switched replaced due to dealership stating that they couldn't find a problem but replaced switch anyway (longview,tx). I took vehicle back to original dealership on today, clay cooley of dallas,tx and they provided me with a two page list of codes and asked has the vehicle ever been in a wreck. I told them not to my knowledge unless it happened before i purchased it from their lot. They stated that they couldn't make a diagnosis and this time and sent me back home with a vehicle that keeps me stranded and having to boost off.
Had battery replaced in october 2019 and brake switch due to vehicle not starting. I had to have vehicle towed. Now, having same issue with vehicle not starting. Having it towed to dealership in dallas
On 5 separate occasions 2 on the same trip, whn traveling down interstate vehicle will not pull, like its stuck in a gear and will not shift. Happens around 80 mph. Creating a dangerous situation when vehicle will not speed up and slows down from 80 mph to 65 and will not gain any speed, this has almost caused a wreck 3 times all on the interstate. This vehicle has been to dealer 3 times for same issue, 1st time nothing found per them, second time replaced transmission valve body, 3rd time replaced transmission. Still not repaired

Vehicle suddenly would not start on 12/21/2019, thus leaving my family and i stranded in a brand new vehicle. (reported to nissan roadside assistance) bci malfunction warning (see photo) and the vehicle began to automatically apply the brake as i was driving and i could not override it. I feel this is a safety issue, as i had no control over the vehicle whatsoever. Vehicles automatic emergency braking system applies the brakes while in motion and when i do not intend for the brakes to be applied, causing severe anxiety and fear of driving my brand new $60k vehicle
