Mass air flow sensor broke while in use and cut the engine without any warning.

As you are driving the car looses power, it happens randomly when driving, turning corners , going up hills have to pump the gas to make it go also have to put the gas pedal to the floor going up hill and at times on straight road. The dealer scanned it was the cvt transmission. We replaced it and still having the problem, nissan is aware there is a problem with nissan transmissions hopefully you can look into this it is a safety hazard on the road, hopefully someone isn't hurt or killed over this problem. They replaced the transmission $5000 cost to us and the problem still is not fixed, i have documents to show what they replaced but do not have anyway to get these to you,if you have a fax number we can fax them to you. TL THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE PARKING THE VEHICLE, SHE HEARD AN ABNORMAL SOUND COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE POWER STEERING UNIT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT CALLED JEFF WYLER NISSAN OF CINCINNATI (8680 COLERAIN AVE, CINCINNATI, OH 45251, (513)385-1400) AND MADE THE DEALER AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 88,000.

The bolt holding the seat in place on the drives side broke leaving the seat able to shift a couple of degrees. There was no accident it just broke off as i breaked. It was not a hard break just standard stop and go. The result was that i leander forward a bit. As a driver of a moving vehicle this was not good

For over 6 months my vehicle has been sputtering off and on. Just recently, when cranking it up, it would blow out white smoke and sputter even worse. We bought it in march 2020 knowing it was sputtering but the dealership claimed to have fixed it. Now it's with nissan where it's been for almost 2 weeks. They're stating that the transmission and engine has to be replaced. They also stated that these vehicles are notorious for these issues. I've also found numerous complaints online about these particular year and make/ model vehicles having the same issues. If this really is an issue, it needs to be addressed!

Vehicle had nissan anti-lock brake (abs) actuator safety recall repaired on 3/12/21. Ten minutes after leaving dealership abs warning lights started coming on again and continue to come on, not every trip, but several times per week. Obviously, the repair has not addressed this safety issue completely. Vehicle has about 47,000 miles on it. *js

Vehicle was perfectly fine, but then begin to stall out on 3/1 in motion on the street, while turning, & backing up. Then on 3/18 when attempting to back up the car it completely stopped. Car is at the shop now with reported transmission issues.

When driver seat is moved to highest point, the side view mirror blocks your view from from seeing anything on the entire front side of the car. I'm 5ft so i need the seat all the way up. Almost had several collisions because you can't see past or around side view mirror.

I HAVE A 2017 Nissan Pathfinder JUST REACHED 58, 888 MI AND MY HEATER AC FANS ARE DEFECTIVE AND THE DEALER CHARGES ROUGHLY $1,000 FOR REPAIR THIS IS CLEARLY A MANUFACTURER DEFECT AND THE CONSUMER SHOULDN'T BE HELD LIABLE NISSAN NEEDS PUT OUT A BULLETIN RECALL FOR THIS AS MANY OTHER CONSUMERS HAS COMPLAINED ON THIS FORUMS AND OTHER FORUMS IT ONLY SEEMS TO HAPPEN WHEN I TURN ON HEATER CONTROL OR AC CONTROL OR DEFROST I HEARD THE SOUND BEFORE A FEW MONTHS AGO BUT WENT AWAY NOW IT'S THERE PERMANENTLY

The vehicle started making a clicking like sound when the air conditioner is on. The sound was noticed while parked in my driveway. I took the vehicle to nissan dealership which stated it was the fan assembly that needed replacing at $1000. 00 the vehicle don't have 65000 miles.

FAN BEARINGS IN THE TWIN FAN SHROUD HAVE FAILED AND ARE CREATING A LOUD NOISE AND HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO LEAD TO ENGINE OVERHEATING AND POTENTIAL ENGINE TROUBLE. THE NHTSA AND NISSAN HAVE PUT OUT A TSB (NTB17-100) IN OCT 2017. ALTHOUGH MY VEHICLE IS PAST WARRANTY SEARCHING THE WEB IT APPEARS THIS HAS BEEN A VERY BIG PROBLEM FOR Nissan PathfinderS. BECAUSE THE COMPLETE FAN SHROUD (2 FANS-RADIATOR AND COOLING FANS) ALONG WITH A COMPUTER MODULE ARE PART OF THE FINAL ASSEMBLY THE COST TO REPAIR IS SIGNIFICANT ($800). A FAN REPLACEMENT ALONE WOULD BE MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE BUT NISSAN ONLY PROVIDES A FULL ASSEMBLY VS COMPONENT FIX.

Radiator cooling fan died at only 47,141 miles. Cost is 978. 00. Absolutely horrible this is not covered under warranty, especially considering it is a very common problem. First and last nissan i will ever buy.

Front driver's window keeps getting stuck when you try to role it up, rear hatch not working properly, gas tank opener gets stuck, sunroof leaks water into the car going through a carwash, bad seal on electric sunroof, transmission problems.

Going down a busy road at 45 miles per hour my car stopped completely and started beeping and a warning light came up on the dashboard with a big exclamation point. There was nothing in front of my car no other cars and it completely stopped on its own. I took it to the dealership because i was scared to drive my car and they said the sensor was faulty they replaced it with the same sensor and said that nissans development and research dept. Was shut down that they are the ones to figure the issue out but they replaced with same sensor and said it could happen again within 6 months to a year from the heat.

READING FORUMS AND DOING RESEARCH HAS BROUGHT ME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT NISAN IS BUYING AND HAS BEEN BUYING FAULTY RADIATOR FANS FOR YEARS. MY WIFE DOES NOTHING BUT DRIVE TO AND FROM WORK, AVERAGING AROUND 10K MILES A YEAR ON HER Pathfinder UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS AND WE ARE BEING ASKED TO REPLACE A FAN THAT HAS MYSTERIOUSLY JUST STARTED MAKING ALL KINDS OF NOISE. NOT ONLY IS THIS A PROBLEM BUT IT'S CAUSING CONSUMERS TO SPEND UPWARDS OF $1000 TO REPLACE THIS. I HAVE RECENTLY FOUND A PATHFINDER FORUM WITH WELL OVER 450 RESULTS RELATED TO THIS PARTICULAR ITEM ONLY. OBVIOUSLY, THIS IS NOT COVERED UNDER NORMAL DRIVE TRAIN WARRANTY SO THIS IS COMING OUT OF CONSUMER POCKETS. THIS ISN'T FAIR TO ME OR ANYONE ELSE THAT I HAVE SPOKEN TO. WHY WOULD THIS FAN JUST GO OUT FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN IT'S A FAULTY FAN WITH POOR WORKMANSHIP ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRODUCT. NISSAN DEALERSHIPS ARE MAKING A KILLING, $400 TO $600 JUST IN LABOR WITH ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS. IF YOU ALL GO TO PATHFINDERTALK.COM AND SEARCH RADIATOR FAN, YOU WILL FIND ALL OF THE PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FANS. IT'S FAULTY, IT'S DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE NISSAN SHOULD HAVE TO FLIP THE BILL FOR THIS IN THE FUTURE AND MAYBE THEY WILL THINK ABOUT THIS BEFORE THEY DECIDE TO BUY CHEAP MATERIALS AGAIN.

WHEN TURN ON HEATER, DEFROSTER OR AIR CONDITIONER VEHICLE MAKES A TERRIBLE NOISE. IT?S A GRINDING NOISE. FURTHER CHECKING IT IS DETERMINED IT?S THE RADIATOR PULLEY WOBBLING AND HITTING AGAINST SOMETHING. BY CHECKING THIS VEHICLE A 2017 Nissan Pathfinder HAS MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS. SO I CONTACTED DEALERSHIP DUE TO VEHICLE STILL BEING UNDER WARRANTY AND THEY SAID NO MATTER WHAT TO CHECK IT YOU HAVE TO PAY A 147 DOLLAR DIAGNOSTIC CHECK FIRST. I EXPLAINED THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH THIS MAKE AND MODEL AND I PREFER IF YOU CAN TELL ME IF THIS IS COVERED BY MY EXPENSIVE EXTENDED WARRANTY. I WAS PLACED ON HOLD FOR AWHILE AND EVENTUALLY SENT TO A VOICEMAIL WHERE I LEFT A MESSAGE. NO RETURN CALLS YET.

CONSUMER IS SEEKING REIMBURSEMENT FOR A RENTAL VEHICLE WHILE HAVING RECALL REPAIRS PERFORMED. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALER OFFERED TO PAY FOR THE RENTAL WHILE THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS BEING REPAIRED. THE DEALER DECLINED HONOR THE DEAL STATING THAT THE PART THAT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED WAS NOT APART OF THE RECALL. THE CONSUMER WAS LEFT WITH THE BILL FOR THE RENTAL. *JS
