I WAS THE FIRST CAR AT A RED LIGHT, WHEN I STARTED DRIVING, THE AUTOMATIC BRAKING SYSTEM WAS ACTIVATED WITH ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN FRONT OF ME. THANK GOODNESS THE CAR BEHIND ME WAS PAYING ATTENTION AND WAS ABLE TO AVOID HITTING MY Nissan Rogue. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND MADE A COMPLIANT THROUGH NISSAN. THE DEALERSHIP AND NISSAN TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO, AS THEY CANNOT REPLICATE THE ISSUE. IN ADDITION TO THE AEB SYSTEM ISSUE, A WEEK LATER, I WAS PULLING OUT OF A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT AND WHEN I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE BRAKE, THE CAR LOCKED UP, THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, AND THE CAR TURNED OFF FOR NO REASON. AGAIN, THE DEALERSHIP AND NISSAN TECHNICIAN STATED THAT IT COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS ISSUE AND I NO LONGER FEEL COMFORTABLE DRIVING THE SUV I LOVED.
The forward emergency brake sensor malfunction this the second time i have taken back to nissan for this issue and all they say is that ( we can not recrate the issue) and there is nothing wrong with it it has done it a few times when going through intersection on city street s it has stopped in the middle of the road luckily for me there was no traffic behind me
Driving on the highway with no cars close to me and automatic braking system engaged twice
THIS IS Nissan Rogue, IT?S LOADED WITH SENSORS, MALFUNCTION MANY TIMES WITHOUT WARNING, IT HAD LOCKED THE BRAKES BY ITSELF IN DIFFERENT TIMES DAY AND NIGHT, ALSO PICK UP SPEED CAMERAS AS WARNING ALTHOUGH THIS WAS FIXED, WHILE LASTED WAS VERY ANNOYING
The forward collision warning light keeps blinking on and off and according to fred anderson nissian of asheville they said after the 3rd time in the shop that the light blinking is normal. I have the service record where they said that.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 Nissan Rogue. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL SOUND COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
The front passenger side seatbelt has become fully retracted and is currently in a locked position where it will not pull out at all. There has been no accident and nothing happened at all involving the airbag on that side, this situation has taken place all on its own and is now preventing me from carrying any passengers in the front seat due to the malfunctioning of that particular seat belt. This issue occurred while my car was parked in my own parking space with the engine turned off.
The tailgate after being opened by the using the button on the dash, the key fob, or pushing the button on the tailgate itself will suddenly shut. The button was not pushed twice. The car will give a beeping warning that the tailgate is shutting. However, since the human is not expecting the tailgate to shut, he or she has been hit in head several times. The car is stationary, in park.
Drivers seat is loose, has a tendency of moving when pulling off and moves while driving. Makes a rattling noise in the rear of vehicle on passenger side, not sure where what is making the noise. Backing mechanism is activate when nothing is in range.
As i was driving approximately 30 mph straight on a city street my car abruptly shut off completely while in drive. Radio stopped, no warning lights, all electrical seemed to die, power steering and power brakes seemed all to be gone. No dash lights are on. The car started up after trying 3 times without results. It happened once before in a similar situation that i wrote off as a fluke. Now i'm scared to drive it.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 Nissan Rogue. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM INDEPENDENTLY ACTIVATED, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO ABRUPTLY STOP EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO OTHER VEHICLE NEARBY. ADDITIONALLY, THE VEHICLE WOULD RANDOMLY SHUT-OFF WHILE DRIVING, WITHOUT WARNING. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES WERE NOT YET DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER CROWN NISSAN LOCATED AT 3900 W. WENDOVER AVE, GREENSBORO, NC 27407 AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
Intermittent issue where turning the wheel quickly, typically when turning left or right through a full rotation (parking or turning down different streets) the wheel will locked bounce back the other way before being able to turn the wheel again. The last time this happened, the issue occurred 2-3 times in succession. I am scheduling an appointment with the dealer to have things checked out. Every time this has happened thus far, it has been at low speeds and recoverable but the concern is that if this happened on an off ramp or on ramp on the highway, it could be very dangerous.
The air bag light keeps coming on and it stays on. Along with the forward collision light. That lights comes on whenever i try and brake.
WHILE DRIVING ON AN INTERSTATE OFF-RAMP GOING APPROX. 35 MPH, THEN TURNING LEFT, MY 2020 Nissan Rogue SV AWD, SUDDENLY AND AUTOMATICALLY CAME TO AN ALMOST COMPLETE STOP. I WAS ABLE TO CRUISE TO THE SHOULDER AND AVOID BEING HIT BY A VEHICLE BEHIND ME.
After driving car heats up and the car takes off dangerously slow. I've been hit almost 6+ times do to that.
This model has a widely known issue with the moonroof leaking/clogging due to a poor design. Depending on the amount of water collected, it can pour inside the cabin on the driver and front passenger. When bright to the dealership (numerous times for the same issue) clogged in the front passenger side, the technicians confirmed that this is a design flaw. I? Ve had water soaking the headliner, coming out from where the sunglasses holder and lights are located, from the front passenger side where the drain is, and along side the passenger side frame. Living in florida, where the humidity is always high, this is a perfect breeding ground for mold and other bacteria.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2020 Nissan Rogue. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING WARNING LIGHT WOULD REMAIN ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER BAY TOWN NISSAN LOCATED AT 5755 I-10 EAST, BAYTOWN, TX 77521 HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,000.
The radio reset itself yesterday while driving. Today, the screen went completely blank after i shut it off and went into a store for 2 hours. Nothing displayed, not even the backup camera when out in reverse.
I have been pulled over twice now because of passenger headlight out, and also the license plate lights out. When i went to replace bulbs both lights were in working order. The headlight was working when i first started driving. It quit while in motion. The license plate light quit working on a different occasion and i am not 100% sure if it worked when i first started to drive. I was pulled over and given a ticket. The next day i went to nearest auto parts store and purchased new bulbs. When i went to replace both bulbs they were both working. I obviously am unable to say if they both quit while driving, however i now check all lights before driving anywhere.
HELLO, I BROUGHT MY 2017 Nissan Rogue IN MAY 2020. HERE I AM NOT EVEN A FULL YEAR LATER WITH 64000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE AND THE DEALER IS TELLING ME THAT I NEED TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION (CVT). I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE IN BECAUSE MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE VEHICLE WAS JERKING BACK AND FORTH UPON ACCELERATION. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY THAT I PURCHASED EXPIRED AT 60,000 MILES OR 24MTHS WHICH EVER CAME FIRST (WHICH I SHOULD NOT HAVE EVEN PAID FOR AT THIS POINT). I NOTICED THAT SEVERAL HUNDREDS OF NISSAN CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME YEAR ROGUE ARE HAVING THE SAME EXACT ISSUE WITH THEIR CVT. NISSAN HAS PLACED A BULLETIN OUT ON THEIR 2016 MODELS BUT NOT ON 2017. I AM HOPING THAT NISSAN CAN ASSIST WITH THE REPAIRS (COST$4400) THAT ARE UNJUST. I HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN CONSUMER COMPLAINTS OFFICE AND THEY JUST SENT AN EMAIL STATING THEY COULD HELP.
