I was just stopped at a red light. While sitting still waiting for the light, my car began to buck. And then the engine light came on. My car only has 68,000 miles on it. I have it serviced regularly. I took it directly to my mechanic and he thinks it? S some kind of sensor problem. He reset the sensors and told me if it came back again to come back. Today i started my car to drive to the grocery and again i come to the. The corner and the bucking starts. I want ride home. I will be taking my car to the mechanic tomorrow. Also i just want to say your site says my car has five recalls. And it says that none of the recalls is needed at this time. I? Ve never gotten a recall notice from nissan for my vehicle. So i don? T know if they? Re reporting that they? Re doing these recalls on my car and they really aren? T or what the problem is. Maybe someone there can help me with that too. Thank you
When i forget to put on the drivers seat belt there is not alarm or warning. Since i bought the care i noticed this. I have read through the manual and cannot figure out why there would not be a sound to remind me.
My sunroof exploded while i was driving on the interstate at approx. 70 mph. Nothing hit it, it just exploded.
While driving up hills on city streets the car seems to slow down and have a hard time getting up the bill. The a/c also stops working when this happens as well.
On multiple occurrances beginning 5/28/20 when driving or idling on a hot day with the air conditioning operating in excess of 40 minutes, the blower remains operational but the air flow to the cabin slowly reduces and the temperature increases to a point at which it exceeds the exterior air in both temperature and humidity. This is dangerous because it makes it difficult to breathe for all occupants of the vehicle. It also sometimes causes a film of condensation to appear on the interior surface of the windows making it difficult to safely navigate. This film cannot be removed with the wipers because it is not exterior. This has occurred mostly during the daytime but occassionally at night, mostly while moving but occasionally while parked. The dealership and independent repair shop have been unable to reproduce the issue (likely due to insufficient drive time). The issue appears to resolve after the vehicle is turned off for several (no less than 30) minutes. The cabin air filter has been replaced and the area cleaned of debris with no appreciable change in the issue.
Cvt transmission appeared abnormal noise，when driving at high speed, there is a noise; at low speeds, there is a scratching sound
Forward breaking light keeps coming on for no reason
Several times during normal driving on the highway, the braking system activates for no reason. Once pulling into my garage at 5mph. Once leaving my driveway at 0 mph and twice on the highway going 60+ mph
The problem that occurred, was driving on the highway and the cvt transmission slips slowing my car down in front of a big truck while my kids are in the there. That is not safe at all, so i take it to a shop who tells me it needs new transmission. Gets new transmission put in there and not even a good two weeks later it is doing it again. So i go and research and see that this is a big issue and nissan has not did a recall on it yet. What are they waiting on, to harm a whole family. They need to get their stuff together.
MY 2018 Nissan Rogue HAS HAD THE AUTO BRAKES (AEB) KICK IN AND CAUSE MY CAR TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP ON MULTIPLE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS WHEN THERE WAS NO HAZARD, CAR OR PEDESTRIANS IN THE ROAD. IT HAS HAPPENED ON AT LEAST FIVE SEPARATE OCCASIONS AND THE LAST THREE TIMES I WAS BARELY ABLE TO AVOID BEING REAR ENDED. IT HAS HAPPENED ON SIDE STREETS, HIGHWAY AND ON INTERSTATE ROADS ON VARIOUS SPEEDS FROM 30 MPH TO 75 MPH. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION AND NEEDS TO BE REMEDIED WITHOUT CHARGE TO CUSTOMERS. WE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE SO WE WOULD HAVE A SAFE CAR TO DRIVE OUR CHILDREN IN AND THIS IS IMPEDING ON THE SAFETY STANDARDS OF THIS OTHERWISE GREAT VEHICLE.
WHEN WE BOUGHT THE CAR 2 YEARS AGO, THE AC WENT OUT THE DAY AFTER WE PURCHASED IT. THE DEALER FINALLY GOT IT FIXED AFTER ABOUT 3 MONTHS OF TRYING DIFFERENT THINGS. LAST MONTH IT WENT OUT AGAIN. THEY REPLACED THE COMPRESSOR UNDER WARRANTY; I PAID LABOR AND FOR A NEW AC BELT. NOW IT IS OUT AGAIN AFTER LESS THAN 6 WEEKS. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE FOR ME BECAUSE I CANNOT DRIVE WITH WINDOWS DOWN. THE LAST TIME I TRIED THAT, A YELLOWJACKET FLEW IN AND STUNG ME, RESULTING IN A TRIP TO THE HOSPITAL. I HAVE SEEN MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE FROM OTHER Rogue OWNERS, AND I HOPE THAT YOU WILL MAKE NISSAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE FAULTY AC IN 2015 AND 2016 ROGUES. THE DATE BELOW IS THE DATE OF THE MOST RECENT TIME THE AC FAILED.

Traveling about 40 mph on a two lane local road when the emergency braking activated on its on for about 3 seconds along with a loud pulsating feeling and noise.
I WAS DRIVING IN REGULAR TRAFFIC (35-35) MILES PER HOUR WHEN THE CAR SUDDENLY FLASHED EMERGENCY BRAKE WARNINGS AND SLAMMED TO A GRINDING HALT IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. I THOUGHT I HAD BLOWN A TIRE OR HIT SOMETHING, SO I PULLED OFF THE ROAD TO CHECK AND SEE WHAT WAS HAPPENING. NO ONE WAS AROUND ME IN FRONT OR BEHIND. I HAD ENOUGH TIME TO GET OUT OF MY VEHICLE AFTER PULLING OFF INTO THE MEDIAN AND CIRCLE AROUND THE VEHICLE BEFORE ANY CARS PASSED. APPARENTLY, THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT GOING FOR THE 2017 AND 2018 MODEL Rogue FOR THIS AEB ISSUE. IT IS STILL HAPPENING ON THE 2019 AS WELL. I HAD ANOTHER WARNING ABOUT 30 MINUTES LATER BUT IT DID NOT STOP ME THAT TIME. IT JUST THREW UP THE WARNINGS AND BEEPS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 Nissan Rogue. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER EXITING A HIGHWAY RAMP AT 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE JERKED AND STALLED WITHOUT WARNING WHILE DEPRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMAL FUNCTION SOON AFTER EXPERIENCING THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL AND THAT THE WARRANTY ON THE VEHICLE WAS EXPIRED. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 107,754.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 Nissan Rogue. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY ACCELERATED AND REAR ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES SUSTAINED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN REPAIRED BUT 3 MONTHS LATER, THE FAILURE STILL OCCURRED. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO STAR NISSAN (20602 NORTHERN BLVD, QUEENS, NY 11361) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH NOTHING NEEDING TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WANTED A SECOND OPINION AND TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS ALSO DIAGNOSED WITH NOTHING NEEDING TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THEY COULD NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 25,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
Driver's seat shift backwards and forwards during hard acceleration or deceleration. Dealer says that they notice it but can't do anything except tighten the bolts, which doesn't make a difference. It seems to be a common problem, and it would be very distracting in a real emergency.
The transmission is faulty and when driving in the freeway or even the streets i would notice that the car starts to jerk back and forth. Secondly i believe it unsafe whenever turning at high speeds the car feels as if it can tip over. Within my first month of purchasing the car there was tons of engine problems.
While pulling out of a parking lot on april 13, 2021 the vehicle stalled out.
I was driving down the highway at 50 miles an hour when suddenly my collision alarm started "beeping" and the brakes activated causing the vehicle to suddenly slow down, while making a grinding sound and caused the steering wheel to shake. There were no objects in front of me and thankfully there were no cars directly behind me, that could have struck my vehicle due to the sudden unexpected stop.
