While the suv was in park (stationary). The gear shift may slide to neutral with little contact and without pressing the button on the actual gear shifter. The suv may roll in an incline specific direction and pose serious if not deadly damage to vehicle and any passengers. The cause may have also been attributed to faulty gear switch release button. This incident happened in a parking lot raised above street level off of blair road. *dt*dt

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 nissan rogue. The contact stated while pulling into her driveway, the vehicle unintentionally accelerated while the brake pedal was depressed. The brake pedal was depressed several times before the vehicle came to a stop. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact called fuccillo toyota of grand island (1974 alvin rd, grand island, ny 14072, (716)335-9646) where a cause was not yet determined. The contact was still awaiting a callback. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 42,254.

The seat belts in the back seat do not work properly, the one on the left doesn't come out, the one on the right will not go back in place.

The contact stated while attempting to merging to the right on the highway at 10 mph, a vehicle crashed into her driver side of her vehicle causing a spin out. The contact stated her daughter sustained a 2 inch laceration to the back center of her head, bruising to her left eye and leg. Emergency officials were alerted. The contact stated she drove her daughter to the hospital where she received staples to her wound. No warning lights were illuminated and the air bags did not deploy. The other vehicle's driver sustained broken hand and laceration on hands. The vehicle was towed to superior collision repaired 1008 north robin st nixa, mo 65714. A police report was filed. The manufacturer was not notified; the local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 3,000. The vehicle was deemed totaled.

I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM THE STORE ON BRAGG BLVD AND I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 45 MILES PER HOUR AND OUT OF THE BLUE AN ALARM WENT OFF AND LIGHT ON THE DASH STARTED FLASHING AND THE AUTO BREAKING STARTED TO STOP MY 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport FOR NO REASON NO ONE WAS IN FRONT OF ME OR BEHIND ME AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH THE ROUGE WHY WAS IT TRYING TO STOP ON THE HIGHWAY AT 45 MILES PER HOUR, JUST TRIED TO STOP FOR NO REASON.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MPH, WHEN SHE DROVE OVER BLACK ICE WHICH MADE HER SLID AND CRASH INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER AND UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE CONTACT STATED THE AIR BAG THAT WAS UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL HIT HER LOWER LEFT LEG, CAUSING IT TO SWELL AND NEEDING MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE CONTACT STATED SHE NEEDED SURGERY DUE TO THE INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DRIVABLE. THE INSURANCE DEEMED THE VEHICLE LOSS. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO TOWING LOT. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT DIAGNOSED REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,806. *DT*JB*LN *JB

When i was driving, it was as though it had slipped into neutral. I was accelerating when it wouldn? T accelerate anymore and just coasted like it was in neutral. Also when i accelerate from a stop, it took a minute to go. When it did finally go, it was very jerky and i was almost in an accident.

When approaching an intersection, the brake pedal was unable to be used, locked up. With no brakes, the result was a collision. The front collision detection that constantly warned falsely on the dash. This failed to work prior to the collision at this time. Automatic brakes did not engage either resulting in a serious crash. Nissan dealership is inspecting the brake booster, and brake system.

Last night hot air was coming out of my a/c and i shut off the car and it would turn back on again. It happened 3 times until the 4th time it shut off. When i went to start the car, it would not start. I waited one hour until the mechanic showed up. He revised the car and could not see anything except that the car would not start. We tried to start the car and at the 4th attemp it started and i went home with the engine light on. I went to have it check with a computer and i have a diagnosis of: code-p1217 engine over-temperature condition, code-p0090 fuel pressure regualtor control circuit, code-p0507 idle air control system rpm higher thatn expected, code-p0087 fuel rail/system pressure - too low.

There were clicking noises while applying the brake at the previous stop before the collision. About 100 yards before a red light i was pushing on the brake pedal but it would only go half way down. There was no response on the brakes. Ended in collision with another vehicle

I was driving, approximately 25 miles per hour with a bother car more than 3 car lengths in front of me when a grinding sound occurred and brakes wen on automatically and a chiming alarm sound went off. Lasted for about 6 seconds then just automatically went away. Luckily no one was close behind me and luckily my daughter was not in the car. Was very scary. I am going to take car to nissan service but when i looked this up online i saw there were many others that something similar to this happened.

I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE FROM CARMAX ON 12/05/2020. I NEVER WAS ABLE TO TAKE A TEST DRIVE DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. HOWEVER, WHEN I WAS DRIVING HOME MY SISTER TOOK OFF HER SEAT BELT WHEN WE WERE IN THE PARKING LOT IN MY APARTMENTS. I NOTICED THE SEATBELT DIDN?T CHIME. SO I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP THE FOLLOWING DAY AND THEY COULDN?T FIGURE IT OUT. THEY HAD ME TAKE IT TO A NISSAN DEALER AND THEY RAN THE TEST THING ON IT AND SAID THAT, THAT PARTICULAR NISSAN DIDN?T COME WITH THE CHIME. SO I ORDERED A MANUAL FOR THE CAR AND IT SAYS IT DOES. I THINK IT?S A BIG SAFETY HAZARD. 80% OF THE TIME I FORGET TO PUT ON MY SEAT BELT WHEN I FIRST GET IN IT. WHY WOULD THEY NOT ADD THIS TO THE 2019 Rogue Sport? I ORIGINALLY BOUGHT THE 2020 AND IT CHIMED.

I was on the highway driving to sheboygan , wi from chicago, il. I had the cruise control on. I was going 80 in the fast lane. My car out of nowhere slowed down on its own abruptly almost causing a 4 car collision. I quickly turned on to the shoulder and once my car came to a stop the car died. I tried to turn it back on and nothing happened. I had no sensors or warning lights to give me some type of clue as to what happened. About 3 months ago, going over railroad tracks my car abruptly slammed on the brakes on its own and came to a stop on the tracks. I was unable to accelerate. I had to turn the car off n then back on to be able to drive off the tracks.

MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING HER NEW 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport DURING THE DAY. HER BRAKES ENGAGED AT FULL STRENGTH AND THE CAR CAME TO A JOLTING STOP. THERE WAS NOTHING IN FRONT OF HER AND LUCKILY NOTHING BEHIND HER. THIS IS A SEVERE SAFETY ISSUE THAT DESERVES A RECALL! I HAVE READ THAT AT LEAST 1400 OTHER ROGUE OWNERS HAVE REPORTED THIS PROBLEM. WHY NO RECALL?!

Within two months of purchasing a brand new vehicle the car started breaking and came to a full stop without any reason. Both incidents happened in broad daylight with no hazardous conditions on the road.
