BERMAN NISSAN OF CHICAGO (3456 N KEDZIE AVE, CHICAGO, IL 60618, (312) 778-6228) WAS CONTACTED AND IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE PART WAS NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 Nissan Sentra. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 80 MPH, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO PERFORM AS NEEDED. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE DRIVER AVOIDED A NEAR CRASH. THE VEHICLE COASTED ONTO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROADWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO UNITED NISSAN IMPERIAL (2361 HWY 86, IMPERIAL, CA 92251, (760) 352-2900) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 118,000.

I received notification of a stop lamp switch recall from nissan and made an appointment with the local dealer, who is unable to get the parts needed. I contacted nissan and was told that the parts would not be available until fall 2021, possibly in october. They said i should drive it "at my discretion," and the symptoms could be that the brake lights won't work, which could cause collision or the car won't start. I can call them back if these things happen, but unless or until they do, i should just drive it "at my discretion. " i love my car and it has less than 4,000 miles on it. I am now skeptical of driving it. It's now may and i have to worry until probably october than my brake lights aren't working or that my car won't start.

I was driving on several occasions and the car would just slow down out of nowhere on the highway. I couldn? T get the car past 80 or it would shake. If i stopped the car or even slowed down, (anywhere, street or highway) the car wouldn? T move at all. I would be pushing the pedal on the floor for 10 minutes just to get it to 5mph. If i would go up a small incline, the car would roll back and barely stop ( almost resulting in several potentially fatal collisions). At times my reverse wouldn? T even work if i couldn? T press the gas and if it did work then i couldn? T drive froward. It would take me almost 30 minutes to get home from work and my job is exactly 10 minutes in a straight line from my house (on the street. No highway). If that gives any perspective. Once the car was parked it was fine. All the problems occurred while the car was in motion.

THE VEHICLE EVENTUALLY STARTED AND THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO FIVE STAR NISSAN OF WARNER ROBINS (839 WARREN DR, WARNER ROBINS, GA 31088) WHERE THE VEHICLE REMAINED IN DEALER POSSESSION FOR TWO WEEKS. THE CONTACT THEN STATED THAT UPON RETURN OF THE VEHICLE, THE POWER STEERING INTERMITTENTLY FAILED TO OPERATE AS NEEDED, WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE THE STEERING WHEEL WAS REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2017 Nissan Sentra. THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON PARKING HIS VEHICLE, HIS WORK BUILDING WAS EVACUATED DUE TO FIRE. UPON EXITING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT HIS VEHICLE HAD CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED TO THE SCENE AND THE FIRE WAS EXTINGUISHED. A FIRE AND POLICE REPORT WERE BOTH FILED; NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED AT THE SCENE. DUE TO THE FAILURE, THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THEY DETERMINED THAT THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY AN ELECTRICAL DEFECT. THE CONTACT CALLED AN UNKNOWN NISSAN DEALER WHERE THEY REFERRED HIM TO THE INDEPENDENT DEALER WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD YET TO BE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70,000.

Cvt transmission problems. Vehicle was jerking, would change shifts, didn? T want to go over 20 and then couldn? T get it to run. Car turned off on its own at a light. This happened on the freeway putting in danger since dropped speed and had hard time going up bridges. Then it did it in city limits. Stop signs and at lights.

DURING THE DAY WHEN RAINING OR SNOWING & WINDSHIELD WIPERS ARE USED, HEADLIGHTS ARE SUPPOSED TO COME ON AUTOMATICALLY AFTER SEVERAL WIPERS SWISHES. I?M HAVING TO TURN THE HEADLIGHTS ON MANUALLY (STATE LAW LIGHTS MUST BE ON WHEN WIPERS ON). THERE?S NO CONSUMER NOTE THAT SAYS 2020 Sentra IS EXEMPTED FROM THIS. I BELIEVE THEY PUT WRONG MODULE IN ALL NEW MODELS & IT DOESN?T FUNCTION PROPERLY, SO INSTEAD OF A RECALL THEY JUST TELL EVERYONE THEY?RE NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE THAT PARTICULAR FEATURE. MOST DRIVERS WON?T REALIZE THEY DON?T HAVE IT. IT WAS PERFECT STORM OF EVENTS FOR ME TO DISCOVER. IT HAS TO BE DAYLIGHT, RAINING OR SNOWING AND THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME ON THE HIGHWAY WAS MY SPOUSE, WHO NOTICED MY HEADLIGHTS WERE NOT ON. TOOK ME A WHILE TO FIGURE IT OUT. VERY DIFFICULT TO LOOK DOWN WHILE DRIVING IN STORM & MANUALLY TURN HEADLIGHTS TO APPROPRIATE HEADLIGHT MODE, NOT A SIMPLE SWITCH. THERE?S 3-4 MODES (AUTO, HEADLIGHTS, PARKING LIGHTS, OFF AND FOG LIGHTS). THE CAR IS EQUIPPED WITH ?INTELLIGENT AUTO HEADLIGHTS? (STATED IN CAR BROCHURE, ALSO ON NISSAN WEBSITE). ACCORDING TO NISSAN WEBSITE, WITH ?AUTO INTELLIGENT HEADLIGHTS? HEADLIGHTS ARE SUPPOSED TO TURN ON AUTOMATICALLY WHEN FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPERS USED DUE TO RAIN. I ALSO RECEIVED CONFIRMATION OF THIS VIA TWITTER FROM NISSAN. THE FACTORY REP, LOOKED AT IT FOR SEVERAL HOURS AND CONCLUDED IT DOESN?T HAVE IT, AND HE THINKS IT SUPPOSED TO BE THAT WAY, EVEN WHILE ACKNOWLEDGING THE WEBSITE AND BROCHURE SAY OTHERWISE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS THIS CAR NORMALLY RUNS IN AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHT MODE. WHEN DRIVING IN A RAIN OR SNOW STORM DURING THE DAY, THE DRIVER HAS TO REMEMBER THE LIGHTS WILL NOT COME ON AUTOMATICALLY AND THEY WILL NEED TO BE TURNED ON MANUALLY WHILE DRIVING IN A STORM. DRIVER ALSO HAS TO REMEMBER TO SHUT THEM OFF, AND THERE IS NO WARNING SYSTEM THAT LETS YOU KNOW LIGHTS ARE STILL ON AND IN MANUAL MODE.

When driving the passenger side door won't latch correctly. When driving at a speed of 45-60 mph you can hear a noise like air is coming inside the car. Especially on a very windy day the noise is louder and it feels like the door will open.

When i bought the car my front collision sensor light was on i had to take it to the dealership and i was told it was affected now there is an active recall on my vehicle and it? S affecting my brakes my lighting and my speed control because i can? T break and they have not sent me a recall or send any information to me i found this out on my carfax report

BOUGHT 2019 Nissan Sentra FOR OUR DAUGHTER. AS SHE WAS DRIVING ON THE 405 N AND HAD TO BRAKE ON THE FREEWAY DURING HIGH TRAFFIC TIME, THE WARNING MALFUNCTION LIGHT COMES ON AND 3 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER LIGHT COMES ON: AEB, FRONT COLLISION, AND WARNING LIGHT. TOOK IT TO NISSAN, THEY DIAGNOSE 2 CODES THAT COMES UP IN THE TSB, DTC C1A16 (RADAR BLOCKED) AND DTC C1A12 (LASER BEAM OFF-CENTER) STATING THAT IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE BUT I STILL HAD TO PAY DIAGNOSIS AND THE PART AND LABOR TO FIX IT.

Seat belt is tearing! Don? T know how this is happening and why but it is catching inside somewhere and fraded the seat belt. It is not twisted in anyway,nothing was done on our end. It was just a normal getting into car went to put seat belt on and it was caught,and started frading
