Driving right after an automated car wash, clicking started, dash lights dimmed, car started "missing". Turn car off, could note restart, clicking in dash still happened with key out of ignition. Waited 2 hrs then started. Made it home. Next day same issue but i did not turn car off. As i am driving car seemed to improve.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 Nissan Versa. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HER SISTER WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE HOOD RELEASED WITHOUT WARNING AND OBSCURED THE VIEW OF THE ROADWAY. THE DRIVER EXITED THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THE HINGES WERE TWISTED AND CLOSED THE HOOD. THE CONTACT CALLED COUNTY LINE NISSAN NORTH (522 WINSTED RD, TORRINGTON, CT 06790, (860) 482-5555). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,300.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2017 Nissan Versa. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MPH, THE SUN'S GLARE BLINDED HER EYES WHICH CAUSED HER TO HIT THE ROAD RAILINGS AND BARRIERS. THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED SIDEWAYS AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT'S CHEST HIT THE STEERING WHEEL AND SHE SUFFERED THREE CRACKED RIBS, A BROKEN STERNUM, BRUISING TO THE LUNGS, SEAT BELT BURN TO THE NECK AND GASHES TO THE LEFT HAND. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED AS THE CONTACT WAS TRANSPORTED BY AMBULANCE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DEEMED TOTALED. THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000. *DT*JB

First issue was a defective brake system. The part that compressess air to make a hydrologic had a hole. You could hear what sounded like a basketball being deflated near the brake pedal. They fixed it this was at about 25k miles. And now the persistent problem is the transmission. It makes my car jerk or run with reduced power, or sometimes more power. Its very annoying and a burden. Also the fuel oxygen intake ratio has to constantly be reset by me either switching the car to neutral while driving or by turning the engine off then turning back on 5 seconds later, then turning it off again. And turning it back on 30 seconds later, and repeating the 30 seconds on and off until the engine sounds stable. Also the nissan dealership totally took advantage of me. And they still treat me average at best when i get my lio changes there. And always make comments about the mileage. I don't even complain to them about the car.

The vehicle was stationary, it will not start, it will not turn on. None of my lights have been left on, nothing has been plugged in. The first time i had it jumped it started and turned on. The belt was making a high pitched squealing noise. After it was initially jumped and after it was on & drove around & put back in park and turned back off. It no longer would start. I have tried to have it jumped again & it would not jump. I am concerned with the engine and fuel system. When i? Ve tried to turn it on and it wouldn? T it made sort of like a gargling noise after i had hit the start button as well as the gauges coming very slightly & shaking

I PURCHASED A 2019 Nissan Versa JUNE OF 2020 WITH ONLY 9,000 MILES ON IT FROM A LICENSED DEALER. AUGUST OF 2020, WHILE DRIVING AT A SPEED BETWEEN GEAR 4/5, ALL OF MY ELECTRIC WAS LOST(TOUCH SCREEN DISPLAY, INTERIOR/DASH LIGHTS) ABOUT 2 SECONDS LATER ALL LIGHTS RETURNED. THIS OCCURRED AGAIN IN OCTOBER OF 2020. SAME CONDITIONS. THERE WERE NO OTHER ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS, NOTHING. THEN AGAIN IN DECEMBER OF 2020, SAME ISSUE. SINCE DECEMBER, I NOTICED MY VEHICLE HESITATING MORE AND MORE TO TURN THE ENGINE ON WHEN STARTING. FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY 2021, MY VEHICLE DID NOT START. I WAITED A MOMENT AND TRIED AGAIN, IT STARTED. I TOOK THE VEHICLE INTO A NISSAN DEALER WHO INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. THEY SCANNED MY OBD FOR CODES - NONE TO BE FOUND. SAID THE ODB SYSTEM WAS "MONITORING" ONE OF THE SYSTEMS' (BCM) BUT DIDN'T HAVE ANY CODES STORED. AFTER REQUESTING THEM TO RE-FLASH MY BCM, THEY THEN RESPONDED THAT IT WAS MY TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR THAT WAS BEING MONITORED. I HAVE HAD A FAILED BCM BEFORE SO THE SYMPTOMS WITH THE CAR ARE VERY CONSISTENT WITH A FAILING BCM. I PAID $160 TOTAL FOR THEM TO TELL ME THE CAR IS PERFECT. OBVIOUSLY NOT BECAUSE VEHICLES JUST DON'T LOOSE POWER WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. I HAVE A 5 YEAR OLD CHILD WHO GOES EVERYWHERE WITH ME. IF IT IS IN FACT THE BCM AND I GET INTO AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE IT FAILED WHILE DRIVING HIGH SPEEDS - NEITHER OF US ARE LIKELY TO WALK AWAY UNINJURED. THERE ARE NO AFTER-MARKET PARTS ON THE VEHICLE. NO MODIFICATIONS. THE VEHICLE GETS DETAILED/CLEANED/MAINTAINED REGULARLY AS NEEDED TO KEEP EXTENDED WARRANTY VALID. DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. I HAVE A 360 DASH CAM ARRIVING THIS WEEKEND SO THE NEXT TIME IT "SURGES" POWER - I HAVE PROOF.

On several occasions while driving on minor icy or snowy roads (not extremely slick) when i depress the brakes the car does not stop or slow. I hear a rattlling noise in the front of the car that i am told is the vehicle dynamic control system engaging. I press down on the brake and the rattlling continues but the car does not slow or stop. I have narrowly missed having two serious accidents when i had to pull of the road or into another lane to avoid hitting the car in front of me. I was not following closely, the car failed to brake on each instance for 80-150 feet. The flashing icon comes on showing the vdc is in use. During the last most serious instance the icon showing that the system had turned itself off came on. I know you are not supposed to pump the brakes with the system, and i did not until the last moment when i had to turn sharply to avoid a collision. Pumped, turned and brakes finally held. In each case i was travelling at 25-30 mph on level two lane highway in snowy, icy, but not severly so,conditions. I have been driving in colorado for 40 years and have never had an accident, or difficulty controlling my car in ice or snow. On two other occasions under similar circumstances the brakes held but the car pulled sharply to the right or left. I am scheduled to see dealer tomorrow.

I was hit from the side. The collision was pretty bad, my car was totaled. It was the the front of the passengers seat. At the speed the crash happened, the force with which i was hit and the damage to the car i was unpleasantly surprised that the airbags did not deploy, they could have prevented injury. My car was in forward motion on a highway, i was hit by a turning car.

I BOUGHT A USED 2019 Nissan Versa WITH 34, 213 MILES FROM ENTERPRISE CAR SALES ON 07/08/2020 AND AT 45,000 MILES ON 12/20/2020 ON MY WAY BACK FROM MYRTLE BEACH CAR DOES NOT WANT TO ACCELERATE AND OR CHANGE GEARS WHEN PRESSING DOWN ON THE GAS PEDAL. OUT OF TOWN MECHANIC LOOKED AT THE CAR AND ADVISED IT HAS ISSUES WITH CVT. CAR HAS A LOUD NOISE WHEN SHIFTING FROM PARK INTO DRIVE AND OR REVERSE AND AT TIMES DOES NOT WANT TO MOVE. CAR ONLY MOVED AFTER TURNING IT ON AND OFF. CAR STRUGGLES TO TAKE OFF AT LIGHTS AND HAS WEIRD LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE TRANSMISSION, CAR ALSO JERKS REALLY BAD WHEN TAKING OFF AT A RED TOO GREEN LIGHT. ALSO THE BATTERY IS 1 YEAR OLD AND IS DEFECTIVE AND GAS READING GAUGE READS WRONG WHEN CAR IS FILLED UP WITH GAS. TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF FOR NO REASON IN DRY ROADS. WHEN ENTERING A HIGHWAY CAR STRUGGLES TO GAIN SPEED AND JERKS WHEN SHIFTING GEARS. DEALER NOTIFIED SINCE CAR HAS 45,168 MILES AND IS STILL UNDER THE NISSAN 46,213 WARRANTY. CAR IS PARK AND AT TIMES DOES NOT WANT TO MOVE. WAITING ON A DEALER APPT.

I HAVE A 2020 Nissan Versa AND I PURCHASED IT IN JULY. AFTER DRIVING IT FOR A MONTH OR SO I BEGAN TO HEAR A SQUEAKING NOISE. I TOOK IT IN THEY SAID IT WAS BRAKE DUST. I KEPT HEARING THE NOISE AND I TOOK IT BACK IN AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE BRAKES. I WENT BACK TO HAVE THEM REPAIRED ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THEY SAID SOME HARDWARE WAS MISSING FROM MY BRAKES.I HAVE BEEN OUT HERE DRIVING IN THIS CAR WITH FAULTY BRAKES THAT LEFT THE MANUFACTURER AND THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN PUT OUT INTO CIRCULATION FOR PURCHASE. *JS

Already having transmission problems. Car jerks and slows me dow and the steering has gotten almost unmanageable in less than 200 miles. The wheels already need alignment and i've hit no curbs. This car is another disaster from nissan. The cvt was a terrible thing that has happened to vehicles

I had an accident where i struck a deer. The floor airbag deployed and injured me. My leg has a bad hemotoma from it.

A rear wheel bearing failed and was replaced at 14,900 miles in 2017. Now, a rear wheel bearing has failed again at 59,500 miles. The dealership will not make any concession on the faulty parts and/or flaw in the quality that nissan is using. Wheel bearings should not fail at this point in a vehicle's life (low miles). The wheel gets extremely hot and could lock-up causing a loss of control. I have read many complaints for the same issue. This is unsatisfactory. These car models should be checked and replaced if needed by nissan at no cost to the owner. My vehicle is till within the 60,000 mile warranty but 4 months beyond the 60 months.

Airbag light light came on. Toke it to get checked the first time was told old codes came up but everything look good that if the light came back on i would have to take to a nissan dealership. One hour later light came on again. Took to a nissan dealership and was told it showed old codes and wires were crinkled. They fixed them and everything was fine for two weeks. Light came back on. Toke it back to them. They checked it again same old codes came up again and was told it was suggested by nissan that i needed airbag module but they didn't know if that would actually fix the problem but that was the first thing they had to do and it would cost a little over 1300 dollars. I don't feel i should fork out that kind of money for them to guess. Also know there is a recall on the airbags but was told not my car.

Car brakes while driving foward

The vehicle will stop at any given moment. The vehicle stopped while almost entering the highway. Then when turned off and tried turning back on the engine wouldn? T turn over. The problem auto repair shop is saying that there is no communication with the engine.

Vehicle shuts off completely while in motion regardless of speed. I've had it shut off while driving 15mph on the street as well as when i've been going 60+mph on the highway. Based off of other findings and lawsuits, i've began to suspect it is the transmission. I've taken it to the nissan dealership each time it has happened, and they've never been able to give me an answer. I've gotten my warranty extended by them, but that's it.

I WAS DRIVING HIGHWAY 101 CAMARILLO TO HOME. ITS UPHILL I TRIED TO PRESS THE GAS BUT MY SPEED GAUGE STOCK ON 50MPH NO MATTER I TRIED. THEN SUDDENLY THE ABS LIGHT AND THE CAR WITH ZIGZAG APPEARED ON MY DASH BOARD. I BOUGHT MY CAR USED... THE CAR HAVE 38K+ MILEAGE. I'VE RESEARCHED ONLINE IF THE Nissan Versa HAVING PROBLEM GOING UPHILL. I WENT TO MY MECHANIC THEY SAID MYBE THERE A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM GO TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP BECAUSE MY MILEAGE IS UNDER 60K MYBE IM STILL ON MANUFACTURE WARRANTY... BUT I DIDN'T BOUGHT THE CAR ON NISSAN DEALER. I BOUGHT IT ON DRIVETIME.

The fuel doesn't pump correctly as it should. The fuse burnt out. The automatic braking randomly activates for no apparent reason while driving. It also doesn't activate at all. The front end of the car lifts upward like a wheelie from a stop light. There was smoking and burning smell from under the hood.
