I own a 2019 ram 1500 laramie quad cab 4x2. In two different instances while accelerating from a stop or near stop the transmission dropped completely out of gear. The message "return shifter to park(p) then shift to desired gear" has come up. On one of those occasions i was pulling out onto a main road. Luckily for me there was no traffic at that moment as i made it into the lane before the transmission dropped out. My truck just rolled 80k miles. This is a major life safety issue and has taken away my confidence in my vehicle.
Had this issue before keep getting service electronic braking system and service abs system messages. Like i said i had this very issue about a year or two ago it was repaired by ram but was covered under warranty. Fast forward a year or two having same issue again maybe 10,000 miles later.

We too our 2017 dodge ram 2500 to lenoir city chrysler dodge on january 11, 2024 because the antilock brake system (abs) and traction control warning lights were coming on. The truck was in the shop for about a week. We were told initially that the part (electronic control module) was on order. Then we were told that the part was under redevelopment and that they did not have a date for when the part would be available. We do not know if the truck is safe to drive or not so we have not been driving it. All we want is to purchase the part so we can use a truck the cost us $43,000.
Power steering stopped working
Abs module quit working in may 2023. I can’t get a replacement as ram claims they are coming but they are not. I pull a travel trailer and it’s a safety concern with no solution in the works

The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, he heard an abnormal sound emanating from underneath the vehicle, prompting him to pull to the shoulder of the roadway. After a visual inspection, the contact observed that the fuel tank had become partially detached. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 114,000.
Truck die for the second time car is at lake wales chrysler dodge jeep ram. Since [xxx] there is no estimate time to be release they mention about decal [xxx]/nhtsa [xxx] for high pressure fuel pump. I call fca but no one care about. Telling than i have to wait for parts! This isn’t right when they not even offer a loaner.
