    Rear passenger pirelli tire 245/45 r20 103h blowout. Entire tire gone. Damage to rim, brake hose, wheel well, bumper, paint on car, excessive damage to car. Traveling on highway, took exit.

    We bought this car used from a volvo dealership in august of 2019 while still under factory warranty. It has 19-inch volvo alloy wheels with 235/40/r19 tires. In a little over a year, two of the wheels have cracked presumably after hitting potholes. We had both wheels repaired at a professional wheel repair facility. The repair worked (so far) on the first wheel but the problem has recurred twice on the second wheel repair. The volvo dealership's only offer is to sell us a new wheel at over $700 each. We have never cracked a wheel previously in over 40 years of driving. This wheel/tire combination should never have been allowed on the road being so prone to cracking. We are at a much-increased risk of a flat tire/blowout and possible accident. The car also came from the factory without a spare tire which is also not good since we are more likely to be stranded in the event of a flat tire. We no longer consider this car roadworthy and are faced with the expensive options of either replacing the damaged wheel with a new volvo wheel (and expect the same result), replacing all four wheels with aftermarket wheels that may or may not be better, or selling the car. We should never have been put in this position from a safety and financial perspective by this wheel or wheel/tire combination being allowed on the road.

    The car has intermittent noise coming from the right side hub bearing. The dealer and volvo corp refusing to fix the issue and even put the car on the lift. If hub will seize it can cause a big accident if it will be on the highway. All the dealer and volvo rap did was drove the car around the block didn't hear the noise and refusing to diagnose more and replace the faulty part. Volco corp close the case on this issue and refusing to open another one. Meanwhile the car not very safe to drive. Same issue was with left side and it took volvo month to finally replace it even they herd the noise but didnt wanna believe it was the hub. Dealer is kundert volvo of hasbrouck

    Problems with the air is the tires. That is the most sever problem with the tires. The air in the tires work on comparing the air in tires. If one is low it shows which one is low. I have had to replace a tire.

    I had been experiencing louder than what should be normal noise while driving my vehicle. Several days later the vehicle started to vibrate while in motion driving through city streets. Then on november 24th while driving along the nj turnpike the vehicle began to vibrate and bounce so severely that i had to pull over because i thought a tire was going to blow out. The vibration was so intense while going the speed limited. I had to reduce the speed and drive with hazards on to get to my location. I immediately made a service appointment to have the vehicle looked at. The volvo service department conducted a road test as well as a balance test. What i was told was that the foam belt inside 3 of the 4 tires had started to break free which caused my vehicle to vibrate all over the freeway. The dealership said that they would remove the foam and that they tires "should be ok" or they could replace the tires but i would have to pay for them. I have a brand new car that is leased with brand new continental crosscontact lx sport tires and i believe that the manufacturer should be responsible for fixing the defect that occurred in the tires. Honestly, i am lucky that my car didn't flip over!
