The owner programmed a 5 minute idle shut off and did not provide anything for me as the driver to stay warm at night i was driving during winter and traveling to states like wyoming where it reached 23 degrees. He has many things not up to dot regulations with his truck, lot of things are not working and damaged. He also didn't do any type of a pre employment drug test or for any of the other drivers he hired. He threatened not to pay me and withheld my pay on two separate occasions. He stole 800. 00 from my back account for damages to his company truck that i hadn't driven for 3 weeks i and currently taking him to court to get my money back. He has screwed over plenty of drivers and should be shut down.

When driving my volvo after it has rained and i begin to break, while on a road with a minimal decline, rain water pours into the cabin. I was told by volvo service technicians the water is not able to channel through the sunroof channels correctly due to corrosion or clogging in the drainage tubes/sunroof tray assembly. The water pours into the cabin near the intellisafe/rearview mirror area. This event creates a distraction to the driver especially if breaking while on a right hand curve as the water pours out towards the drivers field of vision. For fear of water damaging any electrical safety components, or the integrity of the interior materials i pull over to dry these components. This event occurs when ever it rains.

While i was driving in a busy multilane city traffic situation, the car's center console went completely blank and the turn signals, hazard lights, and volvo on call were not functioning properly. I am not sure what else was affected. This continued for a full 1-2 minutes, unlike times before when the system has done the same thing but quickly re-booted. The safety of others and myself was compromised, as i needed to change lanes to get onto the interstate. I could not tell if my signals were functioning because the signals were not making a clicking sound and the flashing signal indicator lights were completely nonfunctional. I tried the hazard lights as well, which did not function. I pressed the volvo on call button, but nothing happened. When i took the car to the dealership, the service manager stated that a "software update" was performed to fix the problem, and when i questioned how i was to know if this would be a problem in the future, i was told that i "wouldn't know unless there was a problem" and they claimed to know nothing about whether the incident would be reported to the nhtsa. I feel unsafe driving this car now, which is ironic considering that i bought a volvo for its purported safety.

Vehicle in motion with turn signal on - a loud pop from the speakers is heard - then all audio in the vehicle is silenced. After this situation, no audio works from either radio, turn signals, parking sensors, lane keeping beep, etc. After shutting the vehicle down for ~15 minutes and restarting the problem will clear. Because of it's intermittent nature, dealers are unable to diagnose - but this problem is impacting many users - see this forum thread https://www. Swedespeed. Com/threads/speakers-cut-out-with-a-pop-came-back-after-vehicle-off-for-a-few-minutes. 630447/page-5 - this has safety implications and none of the audio cues for vehicle safety systems work once the vehicle goes into this state. Please get volvo to address this problem seriously.
