The owner programmed a 5 minute idle shut off and did not provide anything for me as the driver to stay warm at night i was driving during winter and traveling to states like wyoming where it reached 23 degrees. He has many things not up to dot regulations with his truck, lot of things are not working and damaged. He also didn't do any type of a pre employment drug test or for any of the other drivers he hired. He threatened not to pay me and withheld my pay on two separate occasions. He stole 800. 00 from my back account for damages to his company truck that i hadn't driven for 3 weeks i and currently taking him to court to get my money back. He has screwed over plenty of drivers and should be shut down.

Tl* the contact owns a 2019 volvo truck. The contact stated while driving at 65 mph, the contact had to turn the steering wheel 45 degrees to the left because the vehicle was pulling to the right. As the vehicle drove over some bumps in the road, a thump could be felt in the steering wheel. The contact pulled over and upon inspection, saw that the u-bolts that secure the front axel to the right front leaf spring were very loose. The vehicle had to be towed after it was inspected by a state trooper and placed out of service. The vehicle was towed to pat salmon and sons (1242 orgill ave, memphis, tn 38106 (901) 774-1515). The contact stated that the u-bolts had lost their elasticity and malfunctioned. The manufacturer had not been contacted yet. The contact stated that the u-bolts used to connect the front axles to the front leaf springs failed to hold tension causing the steering wheel orientation to change at times while driving over bumps in the roadway. The contact indicated that the steering wheel orientation would at times be as much as 30 to 45 degrees out of alignment. The truck was towed to pat salmon and sons trucking located at 1242 orgill ave, memphis, tn 38106, who tightened the u-bolts however, the failure recurred. 2019 complained to the dealer about uneven wearing of the front tires they checked alignment then same complaint in march 2020 no defects find then in july 02 2020 i was unable to drive because of vibration , after inspection they found plastic bushings for both kingpins worn out and replaced as whole sets. My complaint is about premature failure components at 300000 miles due to use of plastic bushings by manufacturer. Truck was used on highways not as a vocational truck

Transmission goes into neutral when coasting down hill, or when you let up off the accelerator. Doesn? T the regulations state that? The vehicle shall be operated in gear at all times, except as necessary to shift or stop??
Tl* the contact owns a 2016 volvo vnl630. The contact stated that the vehicle arrived from the manufacturer with a rear driveshaft that was not calibrated. The driveshaft was three times over the maximum specifications where the transmission and driveshaft were attached. The failure in manufacturing caused a considerable amount of vibration while the vehicle was being driven at any speed. Cit trucks (located at 3440 gatlin dr, springfield, il 62707, (217) 544-5300) as well as several unknown dealers were notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100. The vin was invalid.
Front wheels loose from factor and dealer didn't check, tires psi 1/2 what should been , drive shaft out of phase. Damage the truck more. I know of about 20 of these truck with the drive shaft problem. Dealer and factor wont fix/ this is not safe

A prior wreck happen semi truck trailer cross median and lay over blocking all my lanes in the dark on 09/10/18 time 0040 hrs raining wiper on. Did not see it till final seconds roof of semi trailer facing me on the ground i drove thru the roof of semi trailer with a load of candy in it air bag did not go off , early warning distance sensor did not go off extreme damage to front hood , cab area maybe with the trailer in a angle hit and roof facing me sensors did not go off vehicle???

The cab suspension is affected by some type of manufacture fault, the cab is twisted 3 inchs to the left. I have seen the same complaint of other volvo's vnl model owners. This is a safety concern and really need a attention.
New volvo truck mid march 2016 it had a shake that got worse. My dealer cit trucks was to stupid find the problem. Anther dealer look at it. The rear drive shaft was out of phase but how after almost 80000 miles the rear ends are going out. My truck is not the only one out there. My stupid dealer cit trucks could not find y my truck was shaking so they played with transmission programing its an i shift no clutch peddle. Stonington il. Got fuel at f. S. Coming back cross rail road tracks and tried to stop for rt 48. The clutch would not release. This the 4 time.
