WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE MORNING WHEN THE TEMP IS AT OR BELOW FREEZING FOR ABOUT THE FIRST 10-15 MINUTES OF DRIVING THE VEHICLE WILL NOT WANT TO TURN LEFT. IT FEELS LIKE IT IS BINDING UP AND YOU HAVE TO FORCE THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE LEFT BUT THEN IT WILL LET LOOSE AND SEND YOU TO THE LEFT WITH FORCE. THIS HAS CAUSED ME TO ALMOST WRECK SEVERAL TIMES. THANKFULLY I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO AVOID THE ONCOMING TRAFFIC BUT WORRY ONE TIME I WILL NOT. I WORRY FOR ANY PASSENGERS THAT MIGHT BE IN MY VEHICLE AND FOR MYSELF. I HAVE TAKEN IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES BUT BY THE TIME I GET IT THERE IT IS EITHER TO WARM OUT OR NOT DOING THE PROBLEM BECAUSE I HAVE DRIVEN IT TO THEM. I ALSO CONTACTED THE JEEP CARES LINE AND ALL THEY WOULD TELL ME IS TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP. SO NO HELP THERE. I HAVE READ NUMEROUS POSTS ONLINE OF OTHER Wrangler OWNERS HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE AND DEALERS HAVE REPLACED COMPONENTS AND FIXED THOSE ISSUES. BUT I CAN NOT SEEM TO GET ANY HELP WHEN I TAKE MINE IN. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING THAT JEEP KNOWS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AS THERE IS A TSB OUT FOR IT BUT THEY WILL NOT FIX ANYTHING ON MINE BECAUSE THEY SAY THEY CANNOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM.
Steering feels like it sticks while car is in motion on straight highway or fast city street, requiring extra force to correct steering, resulting in dangerous overcorrections. Not noticeable when navigating a curve or corner.
Intermittent issue where turning the wheel quickly, typically when turning left or right through a full rotation (parking or turning down different streets) the wheel will locked bounce back the other way before being able to turn the wheel again. The last time this happened, the issue occurred 2-3 times in succession. I am scheduling an appointment with the dealer to have things checked out. Every time this has happened thus far, it has been at low speeds and recoverable but the concern is that if this happened on an off ramp or on ramp on the highway, it could be very dangerous.

ON SOME OCCASIONS THE STEERING WAS NOT SMOOTH, AS IF IT STUCK JUST A LITTLE AND I WOULD HAVE TO LIGHTLY JERK IT. THIS WAS ALWAYS HIGHWAY. THEN ABOUT A WEEK AGO MY OIL LIGHT FLICKERED AND I MEAN ONLY A SECOND AND THEN AGAIN ON THE WAY HOME. WHEN I CHECKED MY OIL, THERE WASN'T A DROP ON THE DIPSTICK AND IT LOOKED TO HAVE A LITTLE BURNT OIL ON VERY TIP. IT WAS ALSO VERY HARD TO GET THE OIL CAP ON TO ADD OIL. I HAD TO ADD 3 QUARTS! WHY DID MY OIL LIGHT COME ON BEFORE THIS AND WHY DID IT NOT STAY ON? MY CAR IS A 2017 Kia Sorento AND HAS ONLY HAD MAINTENANCE AT THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS BOUGHT. I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I LOOKED ONLINE AND SAW THIS WAS AN ISSUE FOR YEARS. WHY ISNT SOMEONE MAKING KIA ACCOUNTABLE? I CANT AFFORD TO PAY UPFRONT FOR REPAIRS AND WHEN COURTS DECIDE YEARS LATER MAYBE WE'LL GET REIMBURSED, THEY DON'T WAIT ON THEIR PAYMENTS FOR THE VEHICLES.
Tl the contact owns a 2020 toyota sienna. The contact stated while driving 55 mph, the steering wheel was difficult to steer. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a local dealer or an independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 6,200.
The steering wheel shakes when changing lanes at different speeds and it feels like there is no steering assist when doing this. I tried swapping tires but this didn't change things. It's really noticeable on the highway. I only have 47800 miles on the car.
While driving on the freeway at 70mph, my steering and brake system become less responsive. Could not brake fully. Electronic console gave a numerous warning alerts, including: cross traffic warning, four wheel drive system temporarily not available, restraint system malfunction, and possible chassis malfunction. I was to pull over to the side of an offramp, and needed about 100-200 feet for the car to come to a complete stop, despite pumping the brakes.

I got onto the 91 freeway heading east from the long beach blvd entrance. When doing the turn onto the freeway (u) the steering wheel locked/car shifted and both the engine light and traction control light turned on. Car was shakey whole time until i pulled over.
The windshield is leaking onto the steering and electrical panel. When we took the vehicle to land rover, they told us that the car was out of warranty (4 months ago) and that it would cost us $1,900. We've only had this car for 3 years and have also had to replace the motor and transmission.
8/31/2020 my 2020 honda accord power steering is taking control of power steering. I had a crash at 400hampton road -dallas texas. My ( power steering) pulled to the left side of the curb, i had to yank the car back to the left but the car already collided with the left curb, resulting in property damage to the side of car and my right hand.
THE BILLET ALUMINUM STEERING KNUCKLES/STEERING CARRIERS ARE CRACKED AT ONE OF TWO BOLT POINTS CAUSING A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY CONCERN. THIS IS A KNOWN MANUFACTURER DEFECT AND BMW SUBSEQUENTLY CHANGED THE DESIGN OF THE REPLACEMENT PART. THIS BILLET ALUMINUM PART IS SPECIFIC TO THE 2016 BMW M4 GTS, A LIMITED EDITION BMW M4. APPROXIMATELY 800 M4 GTS'S WERE EVER BUILT AND THESE PARTS ARE FAILING AT ALL MILEAGE VALUES. THIS ISSUE IS WELL DOCUMENTED ON BIMMERPOST.COM FROM SEVERAL OWNERS. BMW WILL NOT COVER THE COST TO REPLACE IF THE VEHICLE IS OUTSIDE OF THE WARRANTY, REGARDLESS OF THE MILEAGE; MINE HAS 6,500 MILES. IF THE SECOND BOLT FAILS, THE COMPONENT WILL NO LONGER BE ATTACHED TO THE STRUT AND CAUSE CATASTROPHIC DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE, PERSONAL INJURY AND POTENTIALLY DEATH. I NOTIFIED BMW AND THEY DENIED THE CLAIM AFTER 4 WEEKS OF REVIEW WITHOUT ANY REASON.
The assisted power steering went out while driving, i lost control of my vehicle, the steering was completely gone and unable to steer while i was on a very busy highway. I was traveling at 60 mph when this occurred. This can and will cause several deaths if not corrected immediately! Ford has had this same problem on other models, and a recall was made. This is a very serious problem, and ford knows about it!
I OWN A 2108 Jeep Wrangler JL WITH 32,100-MILES ON THE ODOMETER. ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS IN THE PAST MONTH, WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 60+ MPH, MY STEERING AND FRONT SUSPENSION HAS STARTED SHAKING IN A WILD, UNCONTROLLABLE MANNER, FORCING ME TO NEARLY BRING MY VEHICLE TO A STOP. THE SITUATION SEEMS TO BE INITIATED BY HITTING BUMPS AT HIGHWAY SPEED, WHICH TRIGGERS A RUN-AWAY, VIOLENT, HARMONIC SHAKING (NOT JUST VIBRATIONS). I HAD THE TIRES REBALANCED AND ALIGNMENT CHECKED, BUT THE SAME THING HAPPENED?THIS EXTREME SHAKING IS DEFINITELY NOT A TIRE ISSUE. I'M NOT ONLY CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY; BUT IF THIS CONTINUES, THE VIOLENT NATURE OF THIS SHAKING WILL MOST CERTAINLY DAMAGE OTHER COMPONENTS OF THE SUSPENSION OR STEERING.
I HAVE HAD TWO PROBLEMS WITH MY VEHICLE. THE FIRST IS THAT THE CRUISE CONTROL INTERMEDIATELY WORKS AND THEN DOESN?T AT TIMES. THE SECOND, IS THAT THE POWER STEERING INTERMEDIATELY WORKS AND THEN SUDDENLY WILL GO OUT IN MIDDLE OF A TURN. THIS ACTION WORKED FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR AND THE THEN THE ISSUE WITH THE POWER STEERING RETURNED. I?VE LOOKED UP RECALLS ON BOTH THESE ISSUES AND HAVE NOTICED THERE ARE RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH THESE PROBLEMS WITH Ram 1500, HOWEVER MINE IS NOT LISTED. I BELIEVE THEY NEED TO BROADEN THEIR RECALL ACTIONS BEFORE SOMEONE LOOSES THEIR LIFE DUE TO MECHANICAL FAILURE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO RHETT ALLEN/MARK MILLER SUBARU SOUTHTOWNE (10920 STATE ST, SANDY, UTAH 84070, (801)553-5200 WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURE WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER, PROVIDED NO ASSISTANCE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 61,000.
WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR OF OWNING THE Outback I HAD TO HAVE THE INFOTAINMENT HEAD UNIT REPLACED TWICE. I AM STILL HAVING ISSUES WHERE THE RADIO WILL COME ON BUT THERE IS NO SOUND, THE RADIO WILL TURN ON FULL BLAST AFTER A HANGING UP FROM A CALL, BACK UP CAMERA WILL BE BLACK UPON BACKING UP, SCREEN WILL FREEZE, STEERING WILL LOCK UP WHEN BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY, AND AFTER MY 36K MILE MAINTENANCE NOW MY CAR IS MAKING A STRANGE HUMMING NOISE. THERE ARE SO MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS CAR AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT IT. SUBARU NEEDS TO PROVIDE MORE THAN A PUNY EXTENDED WARRENTY. THIS CAR IS A LEMON AND THEY KNOW IT.
Jeep went into autonation broadway in littleton colorado on january 8th 2021. The vehicle has been there unrepaired since due to a recall for a death wobble which caused loss of control of vehicle on highway causing me to almost hit the center jersey barrier.. However, when looking at the vin on nhtsa recall check it shows the recall has been completed and there are no open recalls. Fca also states that this is not a safety issue but will not say or put in writing that the vehicle is safe to drive.
