3RD GENERATION (2016+) Toyota Tacoma'S HAVE A KNOWN TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN REGARDING LEAKING OF THE 3RD BRAKE LIGHT. DURING RAINFALL AND DRIVING THROUGH A CARWASH, WATER WILL LEAK INTO THE DRIVERS COMPARTMENT RESULTING IN WATER DAMAGE AND POTENTIAL FOR MOLD AND MILDEW. A QUICK INTERNET SEARCH WILL RESULT IN THOUSANDS OF OWNERS REPORTING THIS ISSUE. TOYOTA REFUSES TO COVER THIS ISSUE IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE OF THEIR WARRANTY PERIOD, WHICH CAN RESULT IN $1000+ LABOR BILL TO REPLACE A FAULTY GASKET. SEEING AS THIS IS A POTENTIAL HEALTH RISK TO OWNERS, THIS SHOULD BE A MANDATORY RECALL TO REPLACE FOR OWNERS OUTSIDE OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD.
My driver seat headrest deployed like an airbag without warning or by result of impact. It just split open and dealership told me it was a safety device but it is an expensive job for something that suddenly becomes defective and i shouldn't have to pay for a safety device that failed. I wasn't in vehicle when it happened. But the week before this happened the jeep was parked due to an extremely horrible snow storm and it was trapped under snow for over a week and where i live that type of weather has not happened before. And the week after it became hot so not sure weather had a role in it. But because i had brain and neck surgery the headrest has made it uncomfortable and it is impacting my safety as well.
The panoramic sunroof will not open. I can hear the motor however the interior or exterior sunroof will not open and the shifter does not stay in drive. My sister and i were on the interstate and she handed me a drink and hit the shifter and it slid into neutral without pushing the button. The heated seats do not heat properly.

Audi recall #69z4, nhtsa recall #19v474 the car was under a previous recall for the same problem, which was? Fixed? By dealer sometime in 2019. Currently the car shows airbag is deactivated, the unbuckled seatbelt warning lights and sounds flashes even when the seat is unoccupied. Spoke the audi of ontario,ca on several occasions. They refuse to fix the vehicle. Service manager will not return phone calls. This is the second time this component had to be replaced, and the dealer is refusing to repair it. The passenger airbag off light stays on, when the seat is unoccupied, this happens as soon as the vehicle is started. The unfastened seatbelt light, and airbag light remain on while driving. Unfastened seatbelt sounds continue for 2-3 minutes after the car is started, then goes away.
JUST PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE YESTERDAY. TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE TWO DAYS EARLIER AND NOTICED VERY STRONG INTERIOR ODOR, SUCH A CARPET CLEANER OR DISINFECTANT, WHICH WE ASSUMED WAS FROM DEALERSHIP TRYING TO CLEAN, BUT OTHER CARS WE TEST DROVE DID NOT HAVE THIS SMELL. BOTH MY US AND AND I CAME HOME THAT AFTERNOON WITH A STRONG HEADACHE THAT LASTED ALL NIGHT. WE ASSUMED IT WAS FROM STRESS AND CAR SHOPPING?S. WE STILL DECIDED TO PURCHASE THE CAR, ASSUMING IT WAS STILL JUST A DISINFECTANT AND WOULD GO AWAY. BROUGHT HOME, OPENED ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS AND BACK HATCH TO AIR OUT. SPRAYED WITH NATURAL AIR FRESHENER ALL OVER CARPETS AND FLOORS. AFTER ONE NIGHT OF SITTING CLOSED INSIDE THE GARAGE, OPENED UP THE DOORS TO FIND THE SMELL IS GETTING STRONGER AND MORE INTENSE. OPENED THE WINDOWS TO LET AIR OUT AND SPRAYED CARPETS AGAIN. TODAY, AN ARTICLE WAS RELEASED THAT THOUSANDS OF OTHER Hyundai Palisade OWNERS ARE COMPLAINING OF THE SAME ISSUE, AND IS TIED TO THE HIGHER END MODELS AND NAPPA LEATHER SEAT, WHICH WE HAVE. WE NOW HAVE LEARNED THAT HYUNDAI HAS BEEN MADE AWARE OF THIS ISSUE AND ARE NOT RESPONDING. WE ARE SAD TO FIND OUT THAT OUR 1 DAY OLD CAR (TO US) HAS SUCH A WIDESPREAD PROBLEM THAT WE WERE NOT AWARE OF AND CANNOT STAND. WE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE MATERIALS AND PRODUCTS USED TO BUILD THIS HIGH END VEHICLE AND IT?S AFFECTS ON OUR HEALTH. I AM VERY SENSITIVE TO SMELL AMD HAVE COMPLAINED OF THIS AWFUL SCENT SINCE WE FIRST SAT IN THE CAR. NOW THAT WE KNOW THIS MAY NOT BE SOMETHING THAT WILL JUST AIR OUT AND MAY BE AN INHERENT PROBLEM DIRECTLY FROM HYUNDAI, WE WANT ACTION. THIS MAY BE THE REAL REASON WHY THE PREVIOUS OWNER TURNED IT IN. IT IS AWFUL AND I DON?T FEEL COMFORTABLE SITTING MYSELF OR MY FAMILY IN OUR NEWLY PURCHASED VEHICLE. WE FEEL HYUNDAI SHOULD REPLACE OR REPAIR THIS PROBLEM WITH A RECALL!
Random deployment of passenger seat avr. Vehicle was stationary and unoccupied.
I sat in my driver seat and the latch completely broke so now my seat does not stay latched and it jumps up every time i hit a bump on the road. It has caused me to swerve into different lanes by accident and could ultimately cause serious injury if i get into an accident. The vehicle was stationery when it broke.
First issue, (minor) driver side rear seatbelt does not recoil correctly. Must be manually fed in order to reset for next use. Second issue, hood latch does not release as it is supposed to. You must have a long flat head screwdriver and manually lift the hook from the hood in order to raise hood. Appears to be a weak spring on the lever. Not sure what about this car makes it eat tires but i bought it brand new (12 miles) and now have 98,000 and i am goong through tires approximately every 10,000 miles regardless of brand or warranty. Have had the vehicle aligned multiple times by multiple companies and still no wear pattern on tires just worn completely smooth. I purchased this vehicle with the thought of putting my son in it it travel to college and back but i will get rid of the vehicle before i put my child in it full time. He doesn? T need the headache of checking tires and replacing them every couple of months. There is no tire specialist with any idea why the tires would be wearing this bad on this vehicle. Makes me wonder if other consumers are having to replace theirs as often as i do. I do live in a rural area but on a paved road and most of my travel is via highway. Date provided is date of last tire rotation and replacement.
The seats have metal protruding from the rear portion where your tailbone would rest. It's not just uncomfortable, it becomes painful the longer you drive. I was told the seat heaters were improperly installed in the beginning of the manufacture process for 2020 ford escapes. If they know they installed them incorrectly, why won't they fix their mistake?
Took my car five times for brake/suspension clicking, driver seat noise (bulletin already available), and steering column rattle ( advised by tesla to move the steering a little because it touching the instrument panel ( bad design and shouldn't the customer change his comfort to comfort the bad design by tesla. ), also has issue with camera moist that prevent blind spot and autopilot lane change works in moistur weather, seat belt rattle. All these issue with some has bulletin they said normal and charge me for checking it while my car under warranty. All issues are while driving except battery breather supercharging
Front passenger active headrest system deployed with no explanation. The vehicle was being driven normally in a parking lot and the headrest just went off.

Issue 1). Ever since i bought the car i noticed the drivers seat felt cooked causing low back pain. Eventually the seats power adjustment would only retract one side so it could not be adjusted evenly and i had to pay to have a whole new seat replaced issue 2). I have the 85 kw battery and after an update my battery capacity was reduced 10%. I was told it was due to risk of overheating the battery fire risk tesla never resolved the issue and never reinstated the missing 10% charge capacity 3). The suspension had failed as i was driving over a speed bump less than 10 mph and the bottom of the car scrapped the pavement. I had to pay out of pocket to replace the suspension
The battery keeps failing. It? S my 4th battery change and i can feel that i will need to change the 4th one soon.
Front passenger headrest popped out for no reason. This is a serious, dangerous, and well-known issue with chyrsler vehicles. *i have a separate issue for this same vehicle (left cyclinder) that i submitted on march 31, 2021, tracking number: 11405716.
Driver's seat shift backwards and forwards during hard acceleration or deceleration. Dealer says that they notice it but can't do anything except tighten the bolts, which doesn't make a difference. It seems to be a common problem, and it would be very distracting in a real emergency.
I've had the car for about 8 months now. First the seats stopped moving back and forth. No warranty on the car so took it to my local ford and they said it was off its track. A month later the same problem occurred and they said my seat stopped sending commands to the computer. Now three months later my car randomly started making a loud rattling noise. Got louder every time i started the car. So once again took it to my nearby ford. They checked it out and said my flex plate has cracked all around and that it would be a $1600 repair. This car is still fairly new. Looked into it and it seems a lot of people are having the same experience and ford is aware of the malfunction after many complaints but still has not made it a recall. Very upsetting that i will be without a car for a week and have to pay $1600 just to get it fixed when it seems to be a mass problem. Took it to a outside shop and they said they've heard about the problem before and it's more than just the flexplate but there's no one around that can do the job.
While parked, during automatic start, with vehicle warming up a smell of burning plastic was encountered when entering the vehicle. Investigation revealed the connector melting on the right seat temperature control module gu5t-14b663-aa located under the seat on the front passenger side.
While sitting in the front passenger seat, following the ods recall repair, the airbag light occasionally says on and occasionally says off. Sometimes the passenger seat belt light is lit. I am absolutely unsure when the airbag will be armed and deploy. Tried it with seat belt attached and unattached.
