In my 2019 jaguar f pace, i was stopped, waiting for the car in opposite lane to pass so i could cross left into my driveway. The other driver crossed the yellow lines hitting me head on at about 45 mph. My air bags never deployed. The other drivers did yet mine did not, no warnings from drive package or adaptive dynamics showed. Car is totaled, not one airbag deployed.
I had an auto collision on a residential street. The steering wheel column airbag did not deploy which caused me to hit my face on the steering wheel and which i sustained a swollen nose and frequent headaches.
Passenger front airbag is faulty. Dealer stated that there is no obvious reason why it would be damaged. There was a similar recall on these passenger airbags for a previous model.
Air bag light came in, ford dealer says seatbelt retractor pin broken, electrical connection corroded and entire assembly needs replaced! The have a service alert on this problem but no recall. Airbag will not operate until fixed! Cannot afford the cost of repair! Help!
The mercedes-benz dealership can not repair the problem on teh "ecall" or the "brake pedal bolt" both which are life threatening they dealership adviced me on contacting you?
I filed a complaint about this vehicle in october of 2020 when it was 5 months old at that time because it would slam on breaks and jerk the steering wheel for no known reason and with no one around. It has continued to do this intermittently as well as other erratic driving that cant be accounted for including at times getting confused when passing exit ramps where the car will slam on breaks and jerk to try to exit. I was driving this afternoon at highway speeds and the steering wheel began to shimmy (vibrating back and forth). It felt like there was a potnetial tire blow out but my tpms did not indicate any loss of pressure. I assumed the car was having another one of its unexplained steering behaviors. I know from previous experience that turning the blinker on will stop the shimmying if it thinks you are trying to switch lanes so i turned my blinker on and i moved over one lane hoping it would stop. The shimmying (vibrating of steering wheel) continued and shortly there after it pulled hard left on me driving me directly into a cement barricade that was located a few feet off of the side of the road. I hit the barricade at highway speed and bounced off of it spun around and re-hit the barricade with the rear of the car which is what sustained the majority of the damage when it hit. Though i hit the barricade with significant force the airbags did not deploy. My daughter has been in the car with me on a previous occasion when the car has done this and i have complained about it numerous times to numerous people. I do not feel safe in this car... It only does this at highway speeds and on the highway... It will kill me or someone else if something is not done. I have contacted honda cooperate and also filed a report with them as well.
This has been going on over a year now and the place that i just had an oil change said that i should file a complaint. I believe my airbag system is defective. Specifically with the front passenger side of the vehicle. I see many similar issues online and some have been recalled and fixed for free by the manufacturer. The chevy dealer i went to said that chevy said it is not part of a recall and that i am responsible for the full cost of replacement. Over $2000. 00. I think that chevy needs to fix this issue and cover it in full. The airbag system goes on and off at will. Works and doesnt work. Especially any change in temperature or a person moving around in the seat makes the warning light go on and off. There is definetly a problem with their system and/or wiring.
Advanced diagnostics alerts whether someone is sitting in the passenger seat or not. Sensor alerts constantly while driving. If there is a passenger sometimes the airbag light isn? T lit notifying the airbag is on. This happens whether the vehicle is in motion or not and has happened many, many times.
I was driving my car with my friend in the passenger seat. All of a sudden car started made a beeping sound and my dashboard said something about safety feature being turned off/limited. Also the passenger airbag off light turned on even when the passenger seat was occupied. The vehicle was already in motion. This created an unsafe situation as passenger airbag was off when it should not have been. The passenger occupant detection system (pods) detected a malfunction and switch off the passenger airbag even though the seat was be occupied. I reached out to audi regarding this and they said that since the repair is not available yet i will have to wait. The nhtsa recall number for this issue is 21v198. The manufacturer recall number is 69by. I have attached the latest video of this situation. If you look at the video it shows that the passenger seat is occupied and still the passenger airbag off light is on. This is the 3rd occurrence of this issue. I use my car daily and since the repair is not available yet this makes my car unsafe on the road.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 Nissan Altima. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE PASSENGER?S SIDE FRONT AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT REMAINED OFF, INDICATING THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER?S AIR BAG SYSTEM WAS NOT ACTIVATED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER TORRE NISSAN LOCATED AT 2069 79125, CA-111, LA QUINTA, CA 92253, AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V681000 (AIR BAGS) HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
Started the car in the parking lot. The engine was idling a bit rough. Put the car in drive. Suddenly the engine roared and accelerated. Tried to apply the brake. It did not work. Fortunately did not hit any other cars in the parking lot. The car jumped over the curb at the edge of the parking lot, went into a ditch and hit a tree. Came to a stop. The airbag was activated. The engine was still running at high rpm. Fortunately this malfunction happened in a parking lot and not on a busy city road!!!!! This bizarre incident points to potential malfunction of the computer controls. Forensic investigation is needed to rule out this possibility.
Our passenger seat airbag does not work when i sit in the seat. Our honda dealer has said there computer does not see a problem we determined that i may not meet the weight allowance as i weigh about 88-90 lbs. We have complained to the american honda motor company and were told they would get back to us but that was nearly a month ago.. All other people who have sat in the passenger seat did not experience this problem and we have not received clear information as to what the weight allowance is for this car. When i sit in the seat, the airbag light stays on. I am extremely concerned about honda's apparent indifference as well as the lack of safety i feel when sitting in that seat. Please let me kn ow if you can follow up on this concern for me. Thank you.
As i was pumping gas , odometer failed , power train/streen icon came... As i would accelerate on highway car would slip , as i parked car accelerate on its on resulting in a total
I contacted audi to fix the safety recall on my car, but they don't have the fix and asks me to drive it. I do business on the car and have faced loss of income due to the recall.
Vehicle displays air bag warning light. Dealership stated it is due to electrical connection under rear seat. Cost to repair $700-1000. While air bag light is on air bags will not deploy. A internet search yielded over 250 reported cases of this exact issue. Due to the air bags not functioning, the cost of the repair, and the frequency of this very specific break, and the quantity of reports,i question why ford has not recalled this safety issue.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 64,989.
The vanity mirrors can easily fell off from the sun visors. I got this problem, and found the heavy mirror is glued by white double sided adhesive tape which will loss adhesion at high temperatures. Then the mirror fell because of gravity. Although, there is a plastic mirror cover, the cover has very fragile thin spin axles. I did not witness the whole process, but since i do not use that mirror so the mirror cover should not be damaged before this happed. So i guess that in my case the fallen mirror smashed the cover, and the cover axles are broken and so the cover got opened automatically and let the mirror came out. There are airbags behind the sun visors, so the falling mirrors and covers are not only a risk factor for daily driving but also may cause severe injury when the airbags are activated. I do not use that mirror, i only use the sun visors, so this is definitely a car defect. The fallen mirror is not showed in my pictures. When i found the problem, the cover was not completely detached from the sun visor, since i cannot close it anymore and it seems like will falling soon, so i pulled it off.
I was in a major car accident and the car that hit me was traveling about 60 mph hit me in the rear and the air bag never deployed, this is very concerning and should be looked at. I was stopped at a red light when i got hit.
ON APRIL 11, 2021, THE 2015 Ford Fiesta I WAS DRIVING UNINTENTIONALLY ACCELERATED INTO A COMMERCIAL BUILDING AT A SHOPPING MALL. THE CAR HAD TWO INCIDENTS OF ACCELERATING WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKE PRIOR TO THE FINAL INCIDENT WHERE THE CAR RAN INTO A WALL AND WAS TOTALED. THE CAR HAD NEVER EXHIBITED ANY BRAKING OR ACCELERATION ISSUES BEFORE THIS DAY. THE FIRST INCIDENT, I WAS SLOWING DOWN TO GO OVER A SPEED BUMP. AS I WAS APPLYING THE BRAKE, THE CAR JERKED FORWARD THEN STOPPED. IT DROVE AS NORMAL THROUGH TRAFFIC FOR THE NEXT 8 MILES. I WAS CLOSE TO MY DESTINATION, AS I WAS APPLYING THE BRAKE AT A STOP LIGHT, THE CAR SPED UP AND STOPPED WHEN I PULLED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. AGAIN, THE CAR DROVE FINE FOR THE NEXT ½ MILE. I WAS VERY AWARE WHILE I WAS PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE. NEITHER THE BRAKE OR ACCELERATOR WAS APPLIED AS I WAS COASTING INTO A SPACE. AS I APPLIED THE BRAKE, THE CAR SPED UP, JUMPED THE CURB AND ACCELERATED INTO THE SIDE OF A BUILDING. ACCORDING TO A WITNESS AND SUPPORTED BY PATTERN OF SKID MARKS, AT ONE POINT THE CAR WAS AIRBORNE. WITH THE DISTANCE OF ABOUT 15 FEET BETWEEN THE CURB AND WALL, THERE WAS LITTLE TIME TO REACT. IN MY ATTEMPT TO PULL THE EMERGENCY BRAKE, I INJURED MY THUMB. MY PASSENGER SUSTAINED VARIOUS BRUISES FROM THE SEAT BELT AND THE FRONT DASHBOARD. NEITHER THE DRIVER NOR PASSENGER AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. ACCORDING TO THE BLACK BOX REPORT, THE CAR ACCELERATED FROM 0-100% IN THE FINAL 5 SECONDS AND THE BRAKE WAS APPLIED AT 10%-55%, YET THE CAR CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE. I DID NOT REMOVE MY FOOT FROM THE BRAKE UNTIL AFTER THE CAR IMPACT, WHICH IS SUPPORTED BY SKID MARKS SHOWN IN PHOTOS. IN AUGUST 2019, FORD MOTOR WAS AWARE OF A TRANSMISSION CLUTCH SHUTTER ISSUE, BUT STILL PROCEEDED WITH SELLING THE CAR TO AN AUCTION. ONE MONTH LATER, I PURCHASED FROM A DEALERSHIP.
