We have contacted the kia dealer where we bought the car multiple times about brake issues. The car was still under warranty. Well today it happened. When my husband hit the brakes the car pulled to one side, almost flipped and hit a guard rail.
My 2018 f250 has the ford death wobble as people describe it. This seems to be a reoccurring event. This friday may 14th 2021 it will go into the dealership for the third time to be fixed. The last time it was in was 04/09/21 for the same exact problem. The death wobble consist of violent shaking of the front end when hitting a bump in the road while traveling above 50 mph. We must brake immediately and slow down to regain control of vehicle. This is extremely dangerous, not only for the shaking but slowing down that quickly on the interstate. This has happened while hauling a 35 ft camper as well. Today i was told by the dealership that ford says this is a one time fix. The moist recent time this death wobble happened was 05/06/21 while driving to louisville ky. It happened six times on the way down and once on the way home.
I bought this cadillac 2017 xt-5 used with 4,000 on it it has 11,000 on it know. I took the vehicle in for tire rotation & oil change. The service manager told me that these tires michelin premier ltx 235/65 r 18 tires on this year 2017 are bad tires. The tread on the tire was measured. 5/32nds at 11,000 miles these tires are warrantyed to 40,000 miles. They say you should replace your tires if the tread tread is 4/32nds or less! I think that will hapen in the next 5,000 when i go in for my next oil change. I think i should have these tires replaced for no charge at all. The dealer said when i come in at 16,000 miles for my oil change he said he will replace the bad tire with new ones that cost $205. He said he'd pro rate the tires & he said the will charge me $450 for them. If these tires are defected , why should i pay any money to replace them, if they manufactured the tires wrong??? Very disappointed in the tires. I have bought michelin tires for at least 4 vehicles , in past year's,and never had a problem with the tires!!
On rainy days, when i am standing at a traffic light, and starting to get out of the green light, my car becomes unstable, as if it were going to skid. This happens whenever the street is wet. Report this problem from the first inspection of the car. At that time they changed an axis, but the problem persists
MY 2017 Ram 3500 6.7L DUALLY WITH ONLY 18,312 MILES ON IT HAD A TREAD SEPARATION ON A FACTORY NEXEN ROADIAN REAR TIRE. HAD ANOTHER ONE PREVIOUSLY LATE LAST YEAR ON A FACTORY FRONT TIRE AT 14,412 MILES. LUCKILY I DISCOVERED BOTH WITH CUPPING OF THE TIER AND ROAD VIBRATION BEFORE CATASTROPHIC FAILURE. THE FACTORY NEXEN ROADIAN 10 PLY TIRES ON THE RAM TRUCKS ARE CRAP AND DANGEROUS AND I'VE READ MANY OTHER COMPLAINTS ABOUT THESE SAME FACTORY TIRES, SOME WITH CATASTROPHIC RESULTS. RAM SHOULD HAVE RECALLED AND REPLACED THESE TIRES AFTER SEEING ALL THE COMPLAINTS! I USE THIS TRUCK TO PULL A 34 FT HORSE TRAILER WITH $50,000 HORSES, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, MY WIFE IS USUALLY OUT ON THE ROAD WITH IT ALONE AND IT COULD BE CATASTROPHIC TO HAVE A FAILURE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS WITH A HEAVY TRAILER. RAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS POOR CHOICE OF TIRES.
The tire pressure monitoring system consistently indicates low tire pressure on 3 of the 4 wheels whether stationary of while driving at any speed. Manual checking of the tire pressure indicates the tires are at correct pressure. This problem first began while in warranty. Hyundai dealer did a repair. Next time it occurred, the car was out of warranty and dealer wanted a large amount of money to replace the sensors and monitoring system. This problem has been noted on this site for this model. I understand there's actually a recall on a similar model. Please investigate.
20,000 MILES ON MY 2018 Honda Accord. THE TIRES ON THIS VEHICLE MAKES A LOUD, FLOPPING NOISE WHICH IS VERY ANNOYING. I TOOK IT TO THE REALER , AND THEY SUGGESTED NEW TIRES AND WHEEL ALIGNMENT WITH ONLY 20 THOUSAND MILES.
Driver? S side headlight will not change from high beam to low beam. Oncoming traffic flash there high beams at me to warn me that my high beam is on making night travel impossible. I also can? T drive through a city or i will get a citation for high beams on in city limits. The next issue i? Ve noticed is the passenger side rear tire wears unusually fast.
My truck has already had a shimmy feel in the transmission around 60 mph it shook and would slip gears. I just had it get worse this week. I also noticed that the front end is not shaking really bad from 60-75 mph on newly paved roads. The truck used to drive like a dream now its driving so rough and there is something going on!
When driving 70 miles an hour and hit a bridge seam which intersect the highway at 45 degree angle the car goes into a violent death wobble. We have had 2 jeep service departments look at the issue stating nothing is wrong with the car. We are still experiencing this death wobble
For over a year, i? Ve had trouble with one of the tires losing air every few days. I? M thinking that perhaps it is the valve stem, but i? M not a mechanic. The other day, though, i was accelerating on a mountain road moving about 45/50 mph and the car stopped accelerating. It was as if it was in neutral and could no longer move. I had to have it towed back to my house, about 5 miles away. It still will not move when i put it in gear. I tried several times while waiting for the tow truck and a few times it would go into gear, but moved very slowly. When it moved about 5 ft, it would again act as if it were in neutral. The last time i tried, the mil light up and has not gone off. I just went and tried it again and took a video so you could hear that it is now whining louder than normal and when i put it in drive, it actually jerked and started rolling backward. It looks like i can? T upload the video, though. I added pictures of what is lit up in the panel.
While driving on a straight street 25-35 mph july 30, 2020, on a sunny day,my car right passenger tire came off. On a city street. Causing my car to hit the curb. There was no body damage except for the passenger front and rear tire.
Rear tires repeatedly wearing out. This could cause a blowout causing harm to myself and others
Driving on dry road, in middle lane of three lanes going 65 mph. Suddenly, right rear tire "poofed" but i kept control, started to look right to get off road. Took foot off gas, did not put on brake. Suddenly, left rear "poofed" and then an extremely loud-metal on metal- sound occurred back left and my car jack knifed into the passing , fast lane. A dump truck traveling in that lane struck me, front end and my door. The truck hit me and i rolled into the grassy medium, rolling over several times. The safety devices worked fabulously and my only injuries were from the seat belts which saved my life. I am lucky to be alive and i hope this doesn't happen to someone else. I was in icu for 5 days and hospital for a total of 9 days, i am will be recovering at home for months. I would like it investigated that either a mechanical issue or tire issue caused the accident. I only had 2300 miles on the car. *dt

In oct. Of 2018, i purchased a mazda with yokohama advan sport v105, 195/50r16, 84v tires. These were the standard tires that came on the car. Now some 15,832 miles later and less than 3 yrs. , i am told that they have "micro cracks" and should be replaced. Closer research revealed that these are "summer tires" that "flexing of the specialized rubber compounds used in max performance summer tires during cold-weather use can result in irreversible compound cracking. Compound cracking is not a warrantable condition because it occurs as the result of improper use or storage, tires exhibiting compound cracking must be replaced. " at no time was i warned that driving with these tires in the winter could cause this damage. More important is the fact that they get dangerously little traction under these cold conditions-especially with even a minimal amount of snow. A consumer should be warned about this foreseeable dangerous condition-especially when this car is sold in a state with severe winters.
While driving on the express way (m-i-75) at a speed of 65 miles per hour i hit a bump and my truck shook fiercely and uncontrollably forcing me to drive on the side of the road until i could get the vehicle to stop. Upon starting to drive again this incident was repeated leaving me to roll down the side of the expressway until i could reach an exit to get off into a safe area. When i looked this up online i found that this incident is already know and named, "the death wobble! "
Two right hand side tires blew out when exiting the freeway. There was no warning about low tire pressure and in addition to that, this is a brand new 2020 leased vehicle (1 year old). All four tires needed to be replaced.
