TPMS WARNING LIGHT (ERROR) CAME ON, EVEN THOUGH ALL TIRE PRESSURES WERE EXACTLY AS SPECIFIED BY HONDA. WHEN THE TPMS ERROR OCCURS, THE VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL CANNOT BE TURNED OFF, AND MY VEHICLE COULD NOT MOVE FROM A SMALL SNOWBANK (FEBRUARY 2020.) MY OLDER 2006 Odyssey'S STABILITY CONTROL WAS NOT AFFECTED BY ANY TPMS ERRORS SINCE IT DIDN'T HAVE THE SYSTEM, SO I COULD TURN OFF THE STABILITY CONTROL AND EASILY DRIVE OUT OF SLIPPERY OR SNOWY AREAS. I LIVE IN MAINE AND THIS PROBLEM CAUSES POTENTIALLY SERIOUS ISSUES (BEING STUCK IN SNOW THAT IS NORMALLY EASY TO NAVIGATE IN WHEN VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL IS OFF.) THERE WERE TWO SPECIFIC INSTANCES I CAN RECALL: 1) MY VEHICLE WAS PARKED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, WITH THE RIGHT-SIDE TIRES 3-4 INCHES INTO THE SNOWBANK; 2) MY VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN A GRAVEL PARKING LOT WITH SOME ICE UNDERNEATH. THIS PROBLEM COULD LEAD TO A DANGEROUS SITUATION WHEN THERE IS ANY TRAFFIC AND I NEED TO PUSH OR SHOVEL THE CAR OUT, WHICH WOULD NOT BE NEEDED IF I COULD SIMPLY TURN OFF THE VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SO POWER COULD BE TRANSMITTED TO ALL FOUR TIRES IN THIS INSTANCE. "LOCKING OUT" THE VSC BECAUSE OF A TPMS ERROR (NOT BECAUSE OF LOW AIR PRESSURE) CAN CAUSE A DANGEROUS SITUATION IN MAINE. NOTE: DATE OF FEB 8, 2020 IS APPROXIMATE FOR ONE INCIDENT (PARKING AREA), CAN'T REMEMBER THE OTHER INCIDENT'S DATE.
My car keeps stopping in the middle of traffic. It has been serviced, but what ever the service department is doing its not working. This car is unsafe and as caused danger to my type 1 diabetic husband and myself. The car is now in my drive way. I have been having problems with this since since i purchased it in february 2017, and they never fix the problem. The car jerks and stops and starts when it want to. I have changed the batteries in the remote several times and have taking it to three different places for a diagnosis, and chrysler cant seem to fix the problem when they built the car. I need help. I am still paying on this piece of a car. Everyone that has this car says they car does the same thing. So i know there is a recall for this vehicle. This car has stop and will not start at all.
Right front wheel bearing had to be replaced.
First i got my tires change 2 on the back and the tpms has been on since them , and driving from work in the industrial part of town where traffic is high heavy and fast driving in all the my car just quit while driving at 2:30am getting off work, so a guy i work with seen me slowing down and gave me a boost and again before i made it home it quit again and i live 15 min from and when i stoppedi was about 9min away. Lights started flickering and the car shutdown in the middle of ttaffic. So i bought a new battery for almost $200 and that didn't work it started for a moment and went dead in traffic again.
My 2019 f350 has a death wobble which is uncontrollable. Durning the past 2 weeks has made us almost crash. Fit leaves the truck uncontrollable which almost hit two tractor trailers and caused a major traffic accident when the death wobble started with a small bump in the road. We were in the left lane when it started we went all the way to the right without any notice with the entire truck shaking out of control. We bright it to the dealership which stated there? S a recall blamed the tires and alignment. The recall is back ordered and not available. They refunded us a suitable rental car. When i complained and asked if i should bring my truck to a different dealership he asked me when will i be picking up my truck. My truck is under factory warranty
WE HAVE A 2018 Tesla Model 3, PURCHASED NEW IN LATE JULY 2018, WHICH CURRENTLY HAS ABOUT 32,000 MILES. WE HAVE NOW HAD 8 FLAT TIRES IN THE SPAN OF 26 MONTHS OR ON AVERAGE ONE EVERY 4,000 MILES, ALL BY PUNCTURE. WE LIVE AND DRIVE IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. OUR OTHER VEHICLES HAVE GONE 10+ YEARS WITHOUT A FLAT TIRE SO THE TESLA FLAT TIRES ARE NOT DUE TO THE AREA WE LIVE IN.. ON OUR TESLA WE HAVE HAD TO REPLACE 7 TIRES, 5 WITH ASSISTANCE FROM MICHELIN AT A TOTAL OUT OF POCKET COST OF ABOUT $2,000. PLUS MUCH TIME, PAIN AND SUFFERING. THE FLAT TIRE ISSUE IS AN OBVIOUS DESIGN FLAW AS TESLA SPECS AND DELIVERS THE CAR WITH MICHELIN 235/45R18XL 98W MIC PRIMACY TIRES THAT ARE PRONE TO PUNCTURE DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF THE VEHICLE, THE LOW PROFILE SOFT RUBBER TIRE AND THE CAR DOES NOT COME WITH A SPARE TIRE. WE HAVE TALKED AT LENGTH WITH TESLA SERVICE AND THEY ADMIT THAT THE CAR IS A ?FLAT TIRE MAGNET? AS IT IS ONE OF THE HEAVIEST VEHICLES ON THE ROAD, THE LOW PROFILE PERFORMANCE TIRES ARE PUNCTURE PRONE AND FLAT TIRES ARE THE MOST COMMON REPAIR. WE HAVE BEEN STRANDED SEVERAL TIMES DUE TO GETTING A FLAT IN AN AREA WITH POOR CELL PHONE COVERAGE, WHICH MEANS YOU ARE BASICALLY HITCH HIKING. ON 2 OCCASIONS WE WERE ON A FREEWAY IN THE FAST OR SECOND LANE WHEN THE PUNCTURE OCCURRED AND THE VEHICLE AUTOMATICALLY SLOWED DOWN WITH ALARMS SCREECHING FORCING DRIVERS BEHIND US TO PASS ON THE RIGHT PRECLUDING US FROM PULLING OVER FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, WHICH DESTROYED THE FLAT TIRE, REQUIRING REPLACEMENT. THIS WAS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION AND LEFT MY WIFE AND I TERRIFIED. WE NO LONGER TRUST THE VEHICLE FOR TRIPS OUTSIDE OF OUR IMMEDIATE AREA.
The steering wheel drive is not safe on the highway.... Hard steering control... Pull tires on the highway.. Not safe
I have now experienced cracks on three separate tire rims. The car has less than 41,000 miles. The tires are low profile, run flat tires and the rims appear to be aluminum and faulty.
I purchased a gle 580 in january 2020 with standard 20-inch wheels and tires on the front and rear. This tire/wheel combination is an available option on the gle 350, gle 350 4matic and gle 450 4matic. The operator? S manual for all 2020 gle models (and presumably for earlier models) states: 1. Rotate front and rear wheels only if the wheels and tires are of the same dimensions. 2. On vehicles that have the same size front and rear wheels, rotate the wheels according to the intervals in the tire manufacturer's warranty book in your vehicle documents. If this is not available, rotate the tires every 3,000 to 6,000 miles (5,000 to 10,000 km), depending on the wear. The front and rear wheels are indistinguishable from one another and neither is marked? Front only? Or? Rear only.? By chance, i discovered the rear wheels have an offset the front wheels do not have, which places the rear wheels further outboard than the front wheels. The offset makes rotating the tires dangerous. Only after i discovered this issue did mercedes tell me,? Due to the design of the drivetrain, the front and rear wheels have different offsets, offset is the distance from the hub of the wheel to the center line of the wheel. If you put the front tire/wheels in the back, it will sit further in and can affect the handling of the vehicle.? However, the operator? S manual states tires and wheels of the same size front and rear should be rotated. This offset is not something one would expect with tires and wheels of the same size. I asked mercedes benz to agree to correct the operator? S manual for gle models affected by this offset and to send notification of the offset issue to vehicle owners and it declined my request. This offset poses a safety risk if gle owners with 20-inch wheels rotate their tires in accordance with the instructions in the operator? S manual.
Driving 25 mph around a curve when my car lost control, despite my best attempts my car would not allow me to take control or to break. My car went from 25 mph to 60 mph through a two lane traffic street, forcing me to swerve in and out of traffic merely missing six cars and a semi trailer truck, spinning my car around twice and facing the opposite direction of traffic.
I was driving on the freeway at 75 mph when i went over a bridge transition. The trucks steering wheel began to shake uncontrollably and i had to slow the truck down to 20 mph in heavy traffic to get the shaking to stop. The trucks brakes seemed to not work at normal levels when slowing down, i had to let off the gas to get the truck to slow down. This is very unsafe. I could barely control the truck enough to change lanes to start getting over to the emergency lane. I am hesitant to drive my truck anymore if this death wobble is going to happen again.
Metallic scraping noise in all four wheels, most noticeable at low speeds, in the front drivers side. Dealer claims this is due to continental tires, that came new with the car. Dealer claims this cannot be repaired, and will not replace the tires.
BENT AND CRACKED Corvette GRAND SPORT RIMS
There is a grinding noise coming from one of my wheels. I'm pretty sure it's a bad wheel bearing. Noticed the noise after braking very hard to avoid a collision. Have had the suv looked at test driven by an independent mechanic. He believes it is the wheel bearing
Rear driver's side wheel came off while vehicle was in motion on the road
Driving at roughly 3 miles per hour in 4 wheel high on a gravel road. The axle broke and the tire collapsed. I strongly believe something is defective. (maybe a weld issue? )
Both of my right wheels had crack in them i was losing air
It was noticed on my nexen tire that a bubble had occurred on the exterior/side of the tire. When i brought my car to the hyundai dealership to look at it, they told me that the bubble occurs when going over a bump in the road, and the cables on the inside of the tire push out to create the bubble in the tire. It is a safety hazard while driving, and a blowout could possibly occur. The technician at the dealership mentioned that they see multiple cars each month with these bubbles on the nexen tires. Nexen is the tire company that hyundai uses for their new vehicles. When i called nexen about the issue, they told me to file a claim, which has been approved and compensation will be provided for tire replacement. They didn't indicate if this was a common occurrence or not, but when in conversation with a representative, it appeared that they were familiar with the issue and were quick to respond about filing a claim.

Only a month after purchasing my vehicle i started to feel a wobble in the front end when accelerating up hills and turning while on the gas. I took it to the dealer and they changed out the front tires stating that the problem had been fixed. Once again while driving the problem persisted. I took the car back to the dealer again and they said that they could not find anything wrong and suggested that i make an appointment to go for a drive with the mechanic to show them what is happening. I made an appointment. A day before the appointment i received a call from the dealership stating that an employee recently purchased the same car and they are having similar difficulties. They found online that gmc was requesting information from dealers about the problem and was told that i now need to wait for gmc to come up with a solution. My car shakes every time that i drive it, it? S awful, and it only has around 6,000 miles on it. I? M not sure what to do because the dealership told me that i have to wait for a solution. They are not even trying to fix anything at this time. Please help.
