While driving both in regular traffic and highway traffic the car has without warning gone into a limp mode shuddering allowing no power at all to the accelerator. A message pops up "drivetrain malfunction maximum drivetrain output not at available. If you get pulled over turn the vehicle off wait a couple minutes turn the ignition back on the vehicle runs like that never happened. This is extremely dangerous if the vehicle goes limp no power while on the freeway in front of a big 18 wheeler it happened to me the other vehicles do not understand your vehicle just died while going 75 mph.
My car get recall for fuel pump on 3/25/2021, but i went to my dealer and they told me that i have to wait and not provide my exact date to repair.
Vehicle stationary. Auto engine idle engaged. Car losses power. Been happening for several year. Dealer says nothing wrong. Now on two occasions, car has stalled when brake released to re-engage engine. Car going into shop. Car is stationary and basically stalls. Sometimes power loss disables collision mitigation systems
The tach shows the engine is bouncing all over the place which is especially evident when idling, but also noticible while in motion. I believe my truck should have the fuel pump replaced. The engine rpms jump all over when driving, when backing up or just rolling without pressure on the gas pedal, the truck jumps & drops in speed. This has been happening for some time now. We have tried adding detergents & using better quality gas but it doesn't seem to help.
Code p0300 and p050d keep on being thrown. Vehicle started having these issues back when i had 30k miles and now at 45k, i am getting them more often. The downshifts because of this are bad, the vehicle jerks when it downshifts. Feels like someone is rear-ending you. Vehicle sometimes shakes and sounds like its misfiring. I can sometimes turn off the vehicle and turn back on and it will work fine like nothing is wrong. Chevy wants $150 to diagnose and about $12000 to replace injectors since they are not covered under their bumper to bumper or powertrain warranty. That's pretty bad that i would have to do a major repair on a vehicle that is not that old and has to come out of my pocket.
After having my battery coolant heater replaced on february 22, 2021 i noticed problems with my car starting up slowly. Note error messages were noted on my vehicle however. On march 10 while driving home from work on a smooth straight freeway the entire electrical system in my car failed causing propulsion to go off line and the brake pedal to lock up and become non-functional until the system rebooted. For approximately 20 to 30 seconds it was impossible to depress the brake pedal. Fortunately i was on the freeway and pressing the brake pedal wasn? T required. I am concerned about the safety of this vehicle now since i had mistakenly believed that there was redundancy in the systems that would preserve brake function in the midst of a power failure. There is no manual hand brake. I am extremely concerned that a system failure like this could happen again as i am approaching an intersection, a school zone or going down a steep decline. I have attached invoices from the original service with the battery coolant heater that was replaced as well as the subsequent service after the incident where the technicians identified that the drive unit was improperly connected
Fueling while stationary fuel nozzle does not fit properly into refuel neck of vehicle. I must lift up on handle and nozzle entire time of fueling. Having to do this causes pain in wrists and slows refueling time. Locking mecanism in handle wiil not hold kicking off flow of fuel having to repeat the process, thus aggravating others in crowded wait lines. People yell angrily coming close to physical conflict. Others in vehicle forums express same. There are after market fixes but not all have fixed the problem.
My car stalled as i started to drive. As i started to park again it shut down. I waited a few minutes and it started again. My intention is to get it to the dealership asap.

It was mildly raining and i went to accellerate onto the highway and all a sudden without warning the car started to violently shake and stutter and the car lost all power and i was almost hit by another car because i lacked power. The vehicle then refused to accelerate and i had to dangerously glide off the highway without power and the vehicle had to be towed. Every check engine light came on. I then had the vehicle fixed and they said it was a problem with an engine coil. Three weeks later in the same situation in the mild rain the exact same problem happened again. I went to get on the highway in a mild rain the car broke down the exact same way. I am waiting for it get diagnosed again.
Had been driving for about 15 minutes, majority of it had been on the highway, and i exited off the highway. I waited at a stop light and then turned onto a secondary road. The car all of a sudden gave all warning lights with the hybrid system and i lost acceleration in the vehicle. It made it very hard to steer, and when stepping on the gas it barely had any power to accelerate the vehicle. Felt like i lost the main power a d was using only the hybrid battery to power the vehicle. I pulled off on a side street put the car in park and shut the vehicle off. I waited a few minutes and then turned the car back on and everything was fine. This occurred while driving and if it had happened two minutes earlier i would? Ve been on the highway and in real trouble.
While driving, my engine stalled and would not restart. I was able to pull off the road and after some time the vehicle reluctantly restarted. This happened twice within 4 days. Both times i was descending and decelerating on a street going less than 10 mph. The stall occurred after applying brake and did not respond to gas pedal input. Rpms read zero, all electrical and power steering still working.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AT C. 55MPH IN MODERATE TRAFFIC, THE CAR LOST ALL MOTOR POWER AND STARED TO COAST TO A STANDSTILL. AN ERROR WAS ON THE DISPLAY SAYING ?DRIVE SYSTEM CONTROL FAULT - PARK VEHICLE SAFELY. I MANAGED TO GET TO A SLIP ROAD OFF THE FREEWAY AND THE CAR JUDDERED TO A HALT FROM AROUND 15MPH UNTIL COMPLETE STOP. THERE WAS NO RESPONSE THE THROTTLE AT ANY TIME. I POWERED OFF THE CAR USING THE POWER BUTTON ON THE DASHBOARD, THEN IMMEDIATELY SWITCHED IT BACK ON. ONCE BACK ON, THE CAR WAS OPERATING NORMALLY. While driving, the malfunction indicator lamp (mil/check engine light) came on. After some digging this was caused by an obd ii code of p052e, which indicates a blocked crankcase vent valve actuator. This appears to be a manufacturing defect in these vehicles.
When stationary to obtain fuel, fuel lid actuator electronic switch failure. Fuel door remains in locked position. Manual metal cable pull cord in trunk for emergencies does not function. Inability to obtain fuel unless fuel lid is pried open damaging the vehicle.
The auto shut off when the brake is fully deployed fails when pressure is released and the car will not re-energize. Leaving a car dead at a light that just turned green. Requires me to put car in park, then restart then put into drive. This is a safety hazard. No error lights. Auto shop can? T fix. Must remember to manually shut off the auto shut off each time the car is turned on. Not safe. I have almost been rear ended several times as the car behind expected to go at the just then green light. At one light no cars were stopped behind me but a car approached a light that had been green didn? T realize i was stopped with a failed engine. Scary. It happens everyday.
SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR IS HAVING PROBLEM WITH THE OIL I SENT TO THE PLACE WHERE I BOUGHT THEY SAID IS ALL CARS 2018 Jeep Compass HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE OIL NEED TO BE CHANGE EVERY 1000 MILE (IT DOES IT COUPLE OF TIMES) WHEN I DRIVE THE CAR ON HIGHWAYS OR ON THE ROAD CAR BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN IN ITS OWN, THEN I HAVE MANUALLY RESTART THE VEHICLE AFTER A FEW MINUTES, STARTS NORMALLY
1st owner 2017 crv with 51000. Driving down highway. Check engine and all safety assist failure. Drive for a few days and light reset. Few more days and again this happens and engine also looses power. (have newborn in the care and 3 year old). Obd reader displays codes p0304 and p0172. Take it to the dealer and reprogram the computer as their is extended warranty on oil dilution problem. Re-test and 4th fuel injector faulty. Not covered by power train warranty. I call honda and they are trying to "goodwill" part of the $1500 cost rather admitting that there is a fuel injector issue like on other models. Could of ended in a major car accident with children! Very disappointed in honda.
I see there was a recall from gm #17399 for the 2015 dual fuel tank sending unit problem. This is only for the 6. 0 l gas engine. I have the duramax 6. 6l engine in mine. I had the same problem with mine. The sending unit did not turn off the transfer pump and overfilled the front tank causing fuel to pour out all over the road. I caught it before the drive line caused any damage. I had it towed to the dealer and while we moved it to pull it up on the tow truck it was pushing fuel out of the filler neck of the front tank. The dealer ship refused to cover the cost saying its not part of the recall. They said it wasn't the same problem. It sure was. I have attached the repair order and the recall notification below. I am wondering if it is part of the recall and they are just not doing their job and honering it.
Fuel sensor failure appears on the dash, along with the fuel gauge moving all the way to empty. Brings up check engine light. This happened during travel and can come and go until the sensor completely fails.
