Car lost control at low speed on city street going straight after hearing creaking (under 35mph) therefore making me run into curb. Thought it was due to tire as i saw it damaged, but tesla service center said the control arm is broken also leading me to believe the control arm broke leading me to lose control of the car and causing damage to other vehicle parts.
Front half shaft vibration on acceleration
Torque converter failed, requiring replacement at 75,942 miles. Due to a vehicle design that allows pooling of water & rusting in the control arm attachment bolts, both control arms had to be replaced during the torque converter repair.
When traveling at highway speeds and hit a inconsistent place in the pavement the vehicle gets a death wobble. The steering wheel shakes violently back and forth and the front of the truck bounces on the ground. When the brakes are applied the wobble gets worse so the vehicle has to slow down on its own without applying the brakes. The shaking will stop around 23-28 miles per hour. I have had this happen 6 different times and the vehicle is very hard to keep on the road while it is happening. This is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed. I have slowly been having an ase certified mechanic replacing front end parts to try and fix the problem with no success. I try to avoid driving the truck due to this issue which has happened for the last year. I have videos on my dash camera when this happens. The last time it actually knocked the camera off the window. I know alot of ford truck people and everyone is having the same issue.

The truck just started to wobble and got worse and worse! Scared the hell out of me and my son with his three friends inside!! Horrible feeling to have! Did research and found that this is actually happening to other f250 owners. Now my truck sits in the driveway because dealership is 2 weeks out to just get an appointment!!! My wobble is occurring at from 40mph-65mph
Approximately 5 times in the last 3 months i have experienced "death wabble" with my f250, in the most recent incident, i almost lost control of the vehicle. After hitting a bump at highway speed, i experienced an oscillation in the front wheels, causing violent shaking, that would not stop until i stopped the truck. Ford told me there was nothing wrong with the truck.
Vehicle has a tremor idle problem, resulting in improper motor mounts per dealership motor mounts replaced, now bolts and shims added problem not resolved
I have 2 recalls that my dealer wont fix because they wont get me a rental car while my is repaired. My question who is responsible if injury or death occurs because of these recalls?
I was driving alone e on il rt 64 at about 2:45 pm when i hit a series of bumps on road that made the front end shake uncontrollably. I had to brake and slow to under 20 mph before it stopped. Again later that night at about 8 pm coming s on il rt 2 with cruise set at 55 mph it happened again had to brake/slow to under 20 mph again. This time my wife and mother-in-law were with to experience it. I have noticed front end being a little wishy-washy after hitting bumps but thought it was due to stiffer suspension after experiencing this i don't believe that is the case. Vehicle history so far- purchased used from wickstrom ford. Went thru their used car inspection before i could purchase it- new rear tires and brake pads and rotors all around. Will try getting in to have checked out and technical service bulletin for steering damper performed. Have put less than 600 miles on truck since purchasing.
While car is shifting idle hangs and shutters around 1600-2000 rpm. Left front and rear shocks have loud noises when traveling over bumps.
Service stabilitrak and abs. It previously happened last year and the vehicle was in park. Since it? S been happening when vehicle is at a slow crawl or in reverse. Sometimes the light will come on however the just of the times, when braking, the car will grind and stutter when braking
When i hit a bump or uneven lanes (50-60mph) my trucks my front end violently shakes and makes my vehicle hard to handle. At lower speeds 20-50 when i hit a bump or uneven lanes the truck will shift to the side the bump hit almost like driving on ice.
One or more of the suspension kits sold by rock krawler used inferior materials in the control arm bushings that will break down with the use of hydrocarbons (grease) causing slop/play in them which could cause erratic and or loss of steering control particularly in the front arms. Their arms require that they be greased periodically as routine maintenance. They did not mail out any notices to the customers that pruchased the defective arms but rather left it up to the consumers to find out on their own. They have a video on youtube and a link on their website in reference to a tsb #2 but unaware customers may be in jeopardy with the safety of their lives or others. This vehicle has what is commonly known as the death wobble. I have taken it in to have the issue resolved and repairs were made. The repairs haven? T completely resolved the issue. The steering and suspension issues over bump at highway speeds still cause it to feel like there may be a loss of control.
I am experiencing severe death wobble. It happened 6 times on the interstate between 4/24/2021 and 4/25/2021. It is violent steering wheel oscillation and truck vibration. It happened between speeds of 65-75mph. My truck only has 32000 miles on it. Ford has recalled the steering linkage dampener. I? M afraid this replacement will only fix the problem for a few thousand miles and then i will have to cover costs outside of warranty. I planned on keeping this truck for a while but it is dangerous. If i would have been towing my gooseneck trailer, i would have likely caused an accident. It could have injured or killed myself, my family, or other motorists. No air-bags have deployed and there is no impact damage anywhere on the bodywork. Photographs attached with this submission show the broken suspension and detached wheel. I believe that the cause of so many teslas having wrenched off wheels is very simple. Circumstances can occur in which full braking is applied to a wheel but the motor is still at full power. The electronics are not infallible. Glitches can occur. Even if power to the motor is shut down there is still massive stored energy in the rotor of the high rpm electric motor which acts as a massive flywheel. The suspension linkages are not strong enough to withstand the torque which is then applied. It is even worse if the abs or traction control pulses the brakes because this then gives a hammer blow effect. This failure can affect either the front wheels or the rear wheels. While driving at a speed of 65mph on the interstate, i began to make the curve in the road. Ahead of me was a bump in the road as my front wheels hit the bump, my truck sharply turned pushing me into the other lane and began shaking violently. Shaking was so bad i could barely hold onto the steering wheel or control the vehicle. I began to slow down and around 25mph the shaking finally stopped and the truck seemed to return to normal function.

THE CAR WOULD THEN GET STUCK IN FOUR WHEEL DRIVE OR OTHER MODE AND WOULD NOT RISE OR LOWER STATING I NEEDED TO SLOW DOWN (I WAS ALREADY DRIVING BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT) WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN PROPER HEIGHT. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES IN THE USA AND WHEN I MOVED TO GERMANY WITH THE ARMY. NOW I AM BACK IN THE USA AND MY CAR IS ONCE AGAIN AT THE DEALERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE.
