Intermittently, when i got to apply the brakes moving forward or turning, the vehicle sounds like grinding or rubbing in the front axle
I was stooped at a red light on a hill when the light turned green all lights in car turned on the brakes went out and the steering wheel locked. I was on a hill and almost crashed into a wall. I had no control over the car. Don't know how this happened. I was able to mange and pull to the side of the curve. I turned the car on and off a few times and the car went back to normal. I was very lucky i didn't crash into the wall or another car. This was at a busy intersection and i could have kiiled myself or and someone else. I have not driven the car since only my husband because im very scared. Today the malfunction light come on and we don't know if this is related. We called chrysler and explained the situation but they can only schedule an appointment to see the car on 5/17/2021. This is a very serious issue and im surprised they wont see the car right away. And told us to wait another 5 days. I don't trust this car until it gets checked.
Subaru accelerates occaisionally when one hits the break and the motor races until one puts car in neutral.
Vacuum pump leaking oil into brake booster. Engine oil leaking into brake booster damaged master cylinder causing the car not to brake potentially causing a crash. We noticed the brakes not functioning correctly while driving on city streets.
New nissan 2020 rouge sport with 1500 miles! Emergency front break malfunction warning. My car is not even 8 months old!

The mercedes-benz dealership can not repair the problem on teh "ecall" or the "brake pedal bolt" both which are life threatening they dealership adviced me on contacting you?
No brakes. Took to ford. Does not fall under current recall of nhtsa campaign number 20v-332. However my ford dealer is charging me to replace the same exact parts under the recall. Brake booster pump and brake master cylinder. Exactly what happened. No brakes. Brake fluid low. Added more brake fluid, not leaking under truck. Emergency brake still works. Had it towed to ford 2 weeks ago. They are not returning my call. They did tell me they had to order brake booster pump, brake master cylinder and flush the brake lines. $3000 repair. Odd that this is the same repair under the recall.
2016 Honda Civic EX-T AFTER GETTING BRAKES AND ROTORS REPLACED THE ?BRAKE SYSTEM? LIGHT STAYS ON WITH ALERTS FOR: ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE PROBLEM, BRAKE SYSTEM PROBLEM, & BRAKE HOLD SYSTEM PROBLEM. HOWEVER, THE ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE ENGAGES AND HOLDS AND DISENGAGES WHEN I FLIP THE SWITCH FINE, THE CAR DRIVES AND BRAKES FINE, THE ONLY THING THAT DOESN?T SEEM TO WORK IS THE BRAKE HOLD BUTTON. CAR DRIVES FINE AND BRAKES WORK FINE, ALERTS WON?T GO AWAY AND ARE ONLY ON THE DASH NOT IN THE NOTIFICATIONS IN THE CENTER CONSOLE.
A non-conductive pad is installed between the brake sensor switch and brake arm. The pad becomes brittle over time and breaks allowing the brake sensor to engage. This causes the car to go into? Limp? Mode which can occur while driving on highways. This is a safety issue since it occurs randomly and can happen at high speeds.
While driving at slow speed after releasing the emergency brake there is a squeak coming from the rear of the vehicle. It feels like the brake stays a bit engage
We have contacted the kia dealer where we bought the car multiple times about brake issues. The car was still under warranty. Well today it happened. When my husband hit the brakes the car pulled to one side, almost flipped and hit a guard rail.
The brakes grab hard. The pedal goes down a little and then the brakes seem to lock up. We bought the car with 2 miles on it the same day it was delivered to the dealership. Immediately it was apparent there was a problem. They told us to drive it a while and it would go away. It has not. 2 weeks later i told them again. We have told them about the problem 4 times and they say no one else has complained with that problem. It has almost 35,000 miles on it and they say it will cost me to fix it, assuming they can find out what the problem is. H e l p!!!!
Actuator (breaks) failure on city street noise coming from under front of car when breaking slow to stop when breaking, confirmed by mavis mechanic to be issue and was sent back to dealer for replacement. Dealership tried to deny this is issue with these cars was told it was safe to drive only to find on internet it is not safe to drive the car. They want 3k to fix a known issue with the 2016 models. Car has 47k miles and is purchased dec2015 all other makes for this year (2016) appear to be recalled except the hybrid. Please consider extending the recall for the hybrid.
It is an ongoing issue and that happens intermittently. When arriving to a stop (at times) the car still advances forward about a foot, even when the brake pedal is being used as far as it can. Also the vehicle claims to be losing propulsion, often, and seems strained when operating when the message appears.
While driving at 5-10 mph in a grocery store parking lot the vehicle suddenly flashed a brake warning light and came to a jarring stop. There were no obstacles in the path of travel. It was taken to schlossman honda and no problems could be found. American honda has since asked us to sign a consent form to collect the radar and camera for study.
RECENTLY REPLACED THE ROTORS AND PADS ON ALL FOUR WHEELS OF MY Outlander. ALL BUT THE REAR PASSENGER ARE WORKING FINE, WHILE THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE IS MAKING A GRINDING NOISE. WE?VE REPLACED THE BRAKE PADS 3 TIMES, REPLACED THE ROTOR ONCE, AND EVEN REPLACED THE WHOLE CALIPER; IT?S STILL MAKING A GRINDING SOUND. THERE?S A RECALL POSTED FOR SOME 2016 OUTLANDERS FOR THE PARKING BRAKE NOT ENGAGING/DISENGAGING PROPERLY AND WE MIGHT THINK THIS IS THE PROBLEM; HOWEVER, THIS RECALL IS NOT APPLIED TO OUR 2016 OUTLANDER. I THINK WE ARE HAVING THE EXACT PROBLEM THAT IS LISTED ON THIS RECALL.
THIS IS MY SECOND COMPLAINT AND POSSIBLY THE LAST, IN MY FIRST COMPLAINT I REPORTED THE PROBLEM WITH THE CAR AFTER SHOWING A STABILITY TRACK WARNING LIGHT THEN SLOWING TO A 20 MPH VELOCITY IN A SNOW STORM , THEN MY ADVENTURE WITH THE VACUUM PUMP SHATTERING , THUS NO VACUUM, NO BRAKES, ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 70 MPH. AFTER THAT SCARE , IT HAD A CRANK NO START PROBLEM. THAT'S WHERE I ENDED MY FIRST COMPLAINT . PART 2, I COLLECTED MY STIMULUS MONEY AND HAD MY 2017 CHEVY Malibu LS TOWED TO A CHEVY DEALERSHIP. AFTER THE SERVICE MANAGER ASKED ME FOR THE SPARE FOB, I ASKED HIM COULD THAT BE THE PROBLEM THE BATTERIES WENT LOW AND THE FOB KEYS HAD TO BE RE-PROGRAMED. HE STATED PROBABLY, I WENT HOME HOPING IT WOULD BE SOMETHING MINOR. 3 WEEKS LATER I GET A CALL FROM THE SERVICE MANAGER THAT HE WANTED TO GO THROUGH THE DIAGNOSTIC INSPECTION RESULTS WITH ME, I ASK HIM WAS IT SOMETHING MINOR, HE SAID WE HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO WORK ON THE CRANK, NO START PROBLEM CAUSE YOU HAVE LOW COMPRESSION ON ONE OF YOU ENGINE CYLINDERS YOU NEED A NEW ENGINE, THAT'S NOT MINOR 72,365 MILES, NEW ENGINE , ESTIMATE $8,224.80. STILL PAYING THE BANK FOR IT..THIS GENERATION MALIBU'S ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO GOOD. I OWN A 1994 CHEVROLET SILVERADO WITH 135,000 MILES BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW, RUNS GREAT, THE COST CUTTING IS BEING SACRIFICED FOR QUALITY, AND US CONSUMERS ARE GETTING THE LOW END.
