My vehicle would not exit out of a drive or moving until i stopped the vehicle and disconnected the neg battery cable. The vehicle stayed in a state of high rpms. There were no warning signs and no warnings displayed on the truck display. This is the second "speeding out of control" situation in two days. I fear for the safety of myself, my family, and everyone around me. I don't know what triggers the onset of this condition. I exited from state highway 5 onto exit 104 (hwy 101) and took a left on mud bay road. I was traveling 30-35 mph when i began to slow down to almost a complete stop to make the right turn into the swimming facility. My truck would not slow down. I pushed he brakes very hard to prevent the truck from speeding uncontrollably. I pulled in to a parking spot as best as i could. The truck rpms were maxed. I own an automatic drive. With my foot on the brake, i shifted from d to n. There was a loud sound of gears during the shift. The truck rpms were still maxed out. I turned off the truck and placed the truck in p. I also enabled the parking brake. I started the truck and the truck rpms were still maxed out. I kept the truck running for an additional 30 seconds. My wife and bystanders indicated that there was a burning smell emanating from the truck. I turned off the truck and the truck displayed an "overheating" warning. I allowed the truck to cool down and disconnected the neg battery cable for 15 min. After i reconnected the neg cable, the truck reset to normal running conditions. I have owned the truck for three months and the truck is still under factory warranty. The dealership that i bought it from does not acknowledge that 2020 f-150s have had problems with the transmission/engine. I will take my truck there tomorrow (13may2021) for them to view the error codes.
I was stooped at a red light on a hill when the light turned green all lights in car turned on the brakes went out and the steering wheel locked. I was on a hill and almost crashed into a wall. I had no control over the car. Don't know how this happened. I was able to mange and pull to the side of the curve. I turned the car on and off a few times and the car went back to normal. I was very lucky i didn't crash into the wall or another car. This was at a busy intersection and i could have kiiled myself or and someone else. I have not driven the car since only my husband because im very scared. Today the malfunction light come on and we don't know if this is related. We called chrysler and explained the situation but they can only schedule an appointment to see the car on 5/17/2021. This is a very serious issue and im surprised they wont see the car right away. And told us to wait another 5 days. I don't trust this car until it gets checked.
Subaru accelerates occaisionally when one hits the break and the motor races until one puts car in neutral.
When on interstate in middle or left lane and passing car in lane to the right, with no car ahead in sensor distance, brakes can suddenly be applied. I contacted hondausa and was referred to dealer, which was coggin honda, st augustine, fl. Vehicle inspected, spoke to mechanic, who said he is hesitant to adjust forward sensor cone on vehicle. For safety reasons, i now travel on interstates using traditional cruise control. I do not want to be rear ended if a vehicle behind is tailgating and my brakes are suddenly applied. I cannot always get out of the way of a tailgater. The sudden application of brakes has happened several times, not only the date listed and always on a limited access road. I rarely use cruise control except on a limited access road. Control.
While driving my 2015 ford transit 250 3. 5 on the interstate the van lost power and nearly got my killed while trying to navigate off the road without power. The throttle body code was thrown on the cpu, and i was told by the mechanic that these need to be replaced way more than normal with these fords. It? S a hazard to shut the vehicle down without warning! And the replacement part is still faulty. The throttle bodies need to be recalled.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2016 Tesla Model X. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER STOPPING AND PRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY EXPERIENCED UNINTENDED ACCELERATION AND DROVE FORWARD CAUSING THE DRIVER TO LOOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASH INTO A BUSH AND DRIVE OFF A RETAINING WALL. DURING THE INCIDENT THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED AND THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. NO POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN. THE LOCAL TESLA SERVICE CENTER LOCATED AT 52 DERWOOD CIR, ROCKVILLE, MD 20850 WAS NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000. INVALID VIN.
Cvt transmission issuses exceleration issues, vibration when trying to pick up speed jerking motion overringing. City highway when trying to pick up speed
A non-conductive pad is installed between the brake sensor switch and brake arm. The pad becomes brittle over time and breaks allowing the brake sensor to engage. This causes the car to go into? Limp? Mode which can occur while driving on highways. This is a safety issue since it occurs randomly and can happen at high speeds.

AFTER THE SERVICE MANAGER ASKED ME FOR THE SPARE FOB, I ASKED HIM COULD THAT BE THE PROBLEM THE BATTERIES WENT LOW AND THE FOB KEYS HAD TO BE RE-PROGRAMED. HE STATED PROBABLY, I WENT HOME HOPING IT WOULD BE SOMETHING MINOR. 3 WEEKS LATER I GET A CALL FROM THE SERVICE MANAGER THAT HE WANTED TO GO THROUGH THE DIAGNOSTIC INSPECTION RESULTS WITH ME, I ASK HIM WAS IT SOMETHING MINOR, HE SAID WE HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO WORK ON THE CRANK, NO START PROBLEM CAUSE YOU HAVE LOW COMPRESSION ON ONE OF YOU ENGINE CYLINDERS YOU NEED A NEW ENGINE, THAT'S NOT MINOR 72,365 MILES, NEW ENGINE , ESTIMATE $8,224.80. STILL PAYING THE BANK FOR IT..THIS GENERATION MALIBU'S ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO GOOD. I OWN A 1994 CHEVROLET SILVERADO WITH 135,000 MILES BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW, RUNS GREAT, THE COST CUTTING IS BEING SACRIFICED FOR QUALITY, AND US CONSUMERS ARE GETTING THE LOW END.
WAS DRIVING THE Malibu ON THE INTERSTATE TRAVELING 75 MPH AND ALL OF SUDDEN VEHICLE STARTED TO SLO DWN AND ON THE DASHBOARD APPEARED - ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED. THIS COULD HAVE RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT AND NOT SAFE AS I DO TRAVEL BACK AND FORTH TO COLLEGE. I HAD TO MAKE MY WAY OVER TO BREAKDOWN LANE, TURN CAR OFF AND THEN TURN BACK ON AND DRIVE AGAIN. My truck accelerated twice without touching the gas pedal. I was stopped at a yield sign waiting for traffic to pass. I lifted my foot off the brake, my truck immediately accelerated. I pressed thr brake to slow down and the truck engine/transmission rpms did not decrease until the truck fully stopped. I intentionally stopped about 10 meters behind the next vehicle in a left turn lane. The light turned green and i lifted my foot off the brake. The truck accelerated by itself too fast. I had to hit the brakes hard again. After i pressed the brakes to slow down again, the engine/transmission reset to normal operation. I did not experience thr problem on the remaining drive home. I was exiting off of a highway 5 to exit on to a city street. This acceleration would have caused an accident if there were cars in front of my truck.

THE DRIVER ATTEMPTED TO DEPRESSED ON THE BRAKE PEDAL BUT THE VEHICLE DID NOT STOP. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WIFE SUSTAINED BRUISES ON HER CHEST AND HANDS ALONG WITH BURNS FROM THE AIR BAGS. THE CONTACT WHO WAS A PHYSICIAN WAS TREATING HIS WIFE. NO MEDICAL TREATMENT RECEIVED AT THE SCENE. THE POLICE ARRIVED AT THE SCENE BUT NO POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE AIR BAGS DID DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A TOWED YARD. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.
Unavailable front radar obstruction light comes on and stays on after driving. Problem occurs every time i drive more than a short distance. Light is never on when i start the car.
Vehicle does not respond to acceleration command while entering a highway or during highway driving, increasing the risk of collation with other vehicles due to transmission failure, suspect the torque converter not working properly. This is a major and well known issue, gm continues to ignore and i do not want to become the next statistic dead in us highways. The vehicle is moving, during a red triangle yield sign entering the highway, the vehicle will not respond to acceleration command causing a bottle neck of traffic behind me and high risk of being rear ended. This is a serious defect affecting the transmission, it needs to be investigated and resolved as soon as possible.
The front end collision warning goes off less than a mile after i begin driving. It was repaired after an accident (unrelated) & was fine until my state had snowfall that covered the road, that's when it began again! My cruise control suddenly stopped working & the metal piece that props up the hood snapped off when checking the oil, luckily i seen it snap and was able to jump back! Gear shift sticks in park & sometimes even with my foot on the bake it wont start!
I've experienced 4 extreme cases of violent wobbling of the front end, utterly violent and uncontrollable. Tap the brakes it becomes worst. Cant hold the steering wheel, utterly random happened 4 times in the last two weeks. I am scared to drive the truck now and it's my only means of transport. I am terrified it's going to happen and i will crash or kill myself or someone else in a wreck when the truck is shaking out of control. It is truly terrifying. In motion typically on a freeway speed around 50 to 60 mph.
When i'm driving on an interstate highway with hot lane to the left of my direction of travel, the car erroneously senses the speed limit as 65 mph (the speed limit for the adjacent hot lane) rather than the actual speed limit of 55 mph in my lane. The result is that when i am using the adaptive cruise control in the situation described, the car suddenly and without warning accelerates by at least 10 mph over the posted speed limit. This has happened repeatedly and makes use of the adaptive cruise unsafe.
'several times over the last 3 months the vehicle randomly accelerates usually when i brake to slow down the car. I have to put the car in neutral to stop the racing of the engine. It happens at various speeds, 5,10,20, 60. It is scary and i have to allow extra room while driving.
Auto accelerated unexpectedly after leaving car wash bay. Auto sped through parking lot into street and crashed into another auto traveling on a road.
We bought the chrysler van new in 2018. One year (~10,000 miles) later, the van developed rough upshifting. It does not happen every time but it occasionally bangs into gear very violently under slow acceleration at 30 - 35 mph. We took the van to chrysler mechanics but they could not reproduce the rough shift so they would not do anything about it. Every time it happens, it scares me to death. It feels like a sledgehammer hit the van!
