Passenger brake light is intermittent. Clearly issue with the internal assembly.
Dangerous visibility hazard when backing up vehicle at night. Infotainment screen switches to "full brightness" when backup camera is activated, resulting in blinding light to driver. Driver can not backup safely without physically covering the screen to regain visibility. Screen brightness reflects off all 4 windows, windshield and back glass. Side mirrors are unusable in this condition. There was a fix for this issue on previous gm models, (prior to 2018), however no fix for 2019 - present
Automatic high beam system shuts down for no reason. This is not the normal cycling (high beams on/off when traffic detected) of the system. Icon indicating system is on disappears and cannot get high beams to operate. This happens on dark straight roads with no other traffic around. Dealer states that they cannot explain why this happens but they will not address this issue. Toyota has repaired this exact same issue on their lexus line (replace turn signal stalk) but refuses to address it for their toyota models. This should be considered a safety issue.
The passenger side rear turn signal quit operating - the cost for a new one is more than $700
The left turn signal and the back track light go out at the same time intermittently. Also the stop and start function is still not working correctly and i had it at the dealer, dutchess dodge 2x's now. 1st time they stated the stop/ start battery and the 2nd time they replaced the cel and still having issues with not working correctly. I have only had this truck since october. There's no way i should be having these issues. There is definitely going on with this truck and not sure why there is not a recall. When i was driving and made a stop the start/stop function started working but then the left turn signal and the back track light stopped working. The first day i got the truck home the start/stop function was not working but the turn signal and track light were fine. I purchased the truck and it had 70751 miles on it. The stop start/ stop function was not working from the day i purchase it and then cam one problem after another.
I logged into credit karma looking at my car details and saw there was a recall on the traction. Ive noticed my traction light on in the car; however, did not think anything of it as the button was pushed in as normal. The light is on consistently.
My headlights are to dim, unable to see when i? M driving in the streets and highways. I have to switch to high beam due to my safety, but i? M disturbing other cars which i can cause them to have a accident as well. Also i can get pulled over by a cop any minute. I been having this problem since day one when i purchase the car over a year ago but i thought this was normal on this particular car. Plus i never made it a big deal due to i had no choice to continue driving it cause i couldn? T return it. So we just decided to use the car just during day time. But lately we be using the car during night time now is becoming a problem.
Lights are being replaced every month due to being burned out there is no bright lights at all..
Rear racetrack tail lights keep filling up with water from rain, carwashes and melting snow and now has damaged lighting in one area and it's inevitable that other areas will soon be damaged.
When driving at night, the headlights are very dim and do not project far enough ahead to see the road to be able to see. The bright lights must be on in order to properly see, however they too are not what they should be. The bright lights when on, are more of what the dims should be. All new headlights(bulbs) were installed and did not make any difference. The car has been like this ever since it was purchased. It is unsafe to drive it at night, especially when it is extremely dark at night and/or driving in wet/fog or snowy weather. Lights are so dim you would be unable to see deer far enough in advance to safely slow down and avoid them. This problem is the case on all roads except city streets that are lighted. I purchased this vehicle on 11/22/2019
Dim low beam headlights the low beam head lights are very dim and it has happened progressively. Replacing the bulb does not resolve the issue and necescetates driving with the high-beam head lights, which is dangerous for other drivers.
Front driver and passenger seats squeaks since day 1, and i bought it brand new. Secondly the driver door won? T unlock from the outside so i would have to go through the passenger door to open driver door lock. It feels like the door lock on driver door is stuck and the dealership won? T fix it and i? M well under warranty. When i? M driving at night there? S a light that flickers underneath the steering wheel it blinks the whole time and i? Ve looked it up and haven? T found a reason why it should or should not be blinking.
Intermittent function of right rear tail light, including taillight, turn signal, braking, and emergency flasher upon run and during drive. I suspect this is a safety issue.
THE 3RD BRAKE LIGHT BECOMES LOOSE ALLOWING WATER INTO THE TRUCK CAB. IT IS EITHER A RUBBER GASKET DEFECT OR IT WAS NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN NOTED IN NUMEROUS VENUES FOR THE 2016-2020 MODEL YEARS OF THE Toyota Tacoma. MINE LEAKS WHILE DRIVING OR STANDING STILL.
The electrical software isn't functioning properly. The radio, onstar, the door/seat belt chimes don't work. None of the electrical works in the vehicle. I was driving and when i pressed on the brake and turning, the dome lights start to flicker making it difficult to see other cars at night. The back doors don't always lock when locking them.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 Tesla Model X. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR TAIL LIGHTS ON THE TRAILER THAT WAS ATTACHED TO THE VEHICLE, FAILED TO FUNCTION AS DESIGNED. TO ENSURE THAT THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO THE VEHICLE AND NOT TRAILER, THE CONTACT HAD THE TRAILER ATTACHED TO TWO SEPARATE FRIEND'S VEHICLES AND THE TRAILER LIGHTS WORKED ON BOTH VEHICLES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 24,000.
I was driving to work into the garage. The entrance of the garage has a mild incline with a narrow entrance and i normally will slow down so i can steel the car slowly. I was going at about 10 to 15 mile speed and felt a stall first and then the car went into accelerated mode on its own. I felt the car was shift to a different gear on its own up to 80 to 100 miles. I am lucky there is a cement pole in front of me and the car went right into the pole smashing the left side(driver side of the car ) i have to step on the break to stop the car. It all happened very quickly within few minutes. I was lucky there was no one in front of me and i was not hurt. I never had issue with toyota car and this was the first time. I actually had car in the day before for 15,000 miles maintenance
I bought this car brand new at the end of 2017. I have taken extremely good care of the car. A little over a year ago, i took it into the dealership to get something cosmetic fixed on the interior. I picked up my car and when i got home i realized both headlights and one brake light were not working. I took my car back in and they insisted that when one light goes out, they all go out which isn? T true. I insisted that there must be an electrical issue and that i wanted a technician to check it since my lights were working just fine when i brought my vehicle in. After many different appointments and inspections it was determined that it was my wiring harness that was broken on the drivers side. Warranty didn? T cover it. Less than a year later same thing happened on the left side, warranty didn? T cover it. The technician even stated that the engine got too hot and melted the wires. He was surprised warranty didn? T cover this issue since it happened on both sides within a year to a car that is fairly new and really well taken care of. Having both headlights and brake light not working is very dangerous. Especially when driving in a dark and rainy area. How has this happened to so many people and this vehicle hasn? T been recalled? I am extremely disappointed in kia and think there should be some sort of class action lawsuit or recourse. After reading all of these complains that are the same, i am shocked kia has not taken care of their customers.
The fog lights almost caught fire. The factory bulbs started smoking and i had to unplug them.
I have replaced the headlamp bulbs every 3 months or less, purchasing the brightest bulb, using the recommended gel,. Also have purchased the less expensive ones.. Nothing seems to break this cycle. It is getting quite expensive.. Over $50 for 2 bulbs. Is this normal? The driver's side blows out quicker than the passenger side. Would like some help in this. Thanks
