But i was about to go into the freeway only 2 blocks away from it. Just imagine! That happening at 65 or 70 miles in rush hour. 2014 Jeep PATRIOT
  • Date of Incident: Apr-22, 2024
  • Date complaint filed: Apr-22, 2024
  • Failed components: Other/I am not sure

The snuglock feature on the car seat is not securing the seat belt for a safe installation. My child is able to loosen the installation of the car seat belt by pushing on vehicle seat while rear facing in the car seat. This is a reoccurring problem, even after reinstallation. The seat belt comes loose. This means in an accident the car seat would likely move off of the vehicle seat due to failure of the seat belt securing it to the vehicle seat.

Easiest way to explain it is the steering wheel gets stuck while driving. This is result in a car accident that seriously hurts others or myself because my steering wheel locked up or got stuck. This issue started back in september 2023 after i had my car serviced and there was a recall on the system that need some update. My husband drove the car and immediately noticed what i had been feeling and i took my car in 1-18-2024 due to this recurrent issue. Dealership confirmed that my suv will need the steering wheel rack replaced was told the car shouldn’t be driven due to safety reasons caused by this faulty part. Dealer confirmed on 1-18-2024 that the part needs to be replaced however the part is on back order and no date for arrive has been set. My car has been sitting in my garage for 3 months now due to this safety issue which in fact there should be a recall linked to my vin #.

2024 Hyundai SANTA CRUZ
  • Date of Incident: Apr-17, 2024
  • Date complaint filed: Apr-22, 2024
  • Failed components: ENGINE

Our 2024 hyundai santa cruz se had a loss of engine power while attempting to accelerate into traffic after stopping at an intersection four times since purchase in november 2023. The engine did not go above idle for approximately 15 seconds while the gas pedal was pressed half way down. The vehicle barely moved into the road and then gained power after what seemed to be the same as limp mode. No codes were set, no warning lights, no unusual noises or vibrations. Vehicle runs great at all other times. These vehicles were recalled in 2022 for a faulty transmission pump and software that caused this issue. Why does hyundai still allow it for a 2024 model? Also, the backup camera stays on when driving forward now. We have the vehicle at the dealership awaiting their feedback
