The seals on the factory headlight housings are faulty. They allow moisture into the low beam unit which blocks the light from projecting properly. The car is also safe to drive at night time.
The automatic collision system braking is engaging when the vehicle is in reverse and while it is raining. This occurs multiple times while trying to back the vehicle up during rain. This is dangerous for the passengers since they are abruptly thrown backwards without warning. The vehicle must be placed in "park" and then "reverse" multiple times until the collision braking stops malfunctioning.
Engine and transmission for the second time in 90 days apart. Supposedly be a new part. I don’t think so.

Despite attempts to manually select a driving gear, the transmission failed to engage, causing a rapid loss of speed. In an effort to avoid a potentially hazardous situation due to the decreasing speed in a high-speed lane, i attempted to maneuver the vehicle towards the right shoulder but was unable to because of the oncoming traffic. It became necessary to bring the vehicle to a complete halt, turn off the ignition, and then restart the engine in the left lane with traffic building behind me. The vehicle managed to restart but with difficulty, allowing me to exit the highway and pull into a nearby gas station where it eventually stalled and could not be restarted. - the vehicle displayed no warning lights or error messages prior to or during the incident. - got the vehicle towed to cadillac dealership for inspection and diagnostic testing. The engine needs to be replaced - the dealership was unable to provide a conclusive explanation but noted that similar incidents had been reported with this model. - independent research indicated a pattern of similar issues among owners of the same model, involving unintended shifts into neutral while driving. - multiple online forums and consumer reports sites have documented complaints regarding this issue. The gear is stuck between p and r. I am unable to move the vehicle when this occurred, i have too call aaa.
The contact owns a 2024 cadillac xt6. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the transmission malfunctioned, and the vehicle failed to properly accelerate. Also, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission erroneously switched from the automatic mode to the manual mode and the vehicle would not remain in the proper gear. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the transmission was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 114.
Check engine light (power reduced steering drive safely) notice came on. Code reads p0128, coolant below thermostat regulating temperature. This is an on going issue with cadillac. It’s definitely a defect because if you go on youtube you will see it’s not just my vehicle even on low miles vehicles. Then you are left with no choice but to get repaired at the dealer only to be ripped off. 180 for diagnostic testing at dealer to find out this is an ongoing issue across the us

The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the transmission fluid was significantly low. The transmission was topped off. The contact stated that the vehicle was driven to the residence; however, on arrival the transmission fluid level was abnormally low. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 31,000.
The vehicle initially had a windshield manufacturing defect according to cadillac service center which allowed plenty of water to go inside the vehicle during heavy rain. After the vehicle was serviced weeks later i was driving and the digital dashboard when completely yellow and red. At the same time the automatic brakes activated and i almost got rear ended. They serviced the car again after being tow trucked and “couldn’t” determine the cause of the dashboard incident shown on the pictures.
